    Ay man. I really appreciate your work. I just did the same thing with my Shadow 600 1994... after you (kind of hard work, I already gave up) and it’s a really big difference. I just followed your video. I do not feel it too loud to be honest. For sure will need some modifications on the carburettors, but it is not a big deal at all. It feels like it’s a different motorcycle. Great video. Best regards.

    As an old 80’s Harley owner and now a 07 Shadow as well, I can suggest lowering RPMS to mimic that “potato potato potato” lovely sound of the HD, if that’s your thang 😎
    My Harley sits as I now just ride the Honda!
    Better build, better ride, more fun!
    Still keeping the HD for those days I feel like a masochist 😆 😎

      @user-tv8nm3cb6m Před 8 dny +1

      That is a REALLY bad idea, as tempting as it sounds and as common as Honda Shadow owners do it - in the manual they state that the idle should be set at 1100 RPMs, +-100 RPM, because that's the RPMs at which the oil pump starts working.
      TJ Brutal Customs recently released a video mentioning this very fact - that lowering the idle RPMs on your Shadow is a sure fire way to ruin your engine, in the long term

    • @zjedinite
      @zjedinite Před 8 dny +1

      @@user-tv8nm3cb6m you are not wrong, but manual!? 😂
      In theory it would be harsh on the motor if you just let it idle, but in practicality who does that? At most at a red light, you can slightly lower it to a happy medium without any damaging effects. I believe in my statement as I’m putting my motor on the line.
      I’m super happy with my sound 🤷🏻‍♂️ not potato but potato chip 😂
      I appreciate the manufacturer’s recommend advice, it’s good for people to know and make an informed decision.

    Hello all,
    I have Honda Spirit 750 2007 (injection) with the original exhaust pipes - I asked a mechanic to "make the sound better" and he did - by cutting half the muffers out. The bike sounds good, but it lost like 50% of its potency and it really really runs weak like hell. Is there anything we can do fix this problem? Some sort of injection modification? Or any other adjustment?
    Thank you very much in advance

      @aroundonabike5028  Před 3 lety

      Oh man! I feel for you. I'm not 100% sure about injection engine but I'm guessing you'd need to remap. The engine needs a certain air flow to get the correct fuel/air mix and that might be disturbed from the exhaust changes.
