1944 Lego Tank Battle

- Two M4 Sherman tanks of the United States Army 70th Battalion make their way through Normandy after landing at Utah Beach.
The markings on the tanks are based on decals sold for 1/35 scale model tanks. Sherman numbered 15 in the 70th Battalion in Normandy in 1944 was nicknamed "Columbia Lou." The other tank "Double Trouble", was also there, but was numbered DT-7 and was a modified bulldozer tank, not number 6.

What I have noticed is that a lot of Lego tank battles leave out is the smoke generated by the main gun firing. And that is what gives off the tank's position many tanks with big guns like the tiger or Panther did this

Just by watching this I can point something out to a lot of people. There are probably people out there saying stuff like "oh, that panzer would have creamed those Shermans!" News flash, WRONG. In this case, the Panzer IV in question is an early model. You can see that it is using the short barreled gun. This gun did not have very good penetration, and was mainly used against fortifications. Earlier models of the Panzer IV did not have as much armor either. In this case, I would give it to the Shermans. If the Panzer was an Ausf F2, G, or H, that's a different story. Just wanted to clarify this before someone comes out hating.

That's where you're wrong. I'll have you know, I am a massive fan of the German tanks. I'm just saying that this particular version of the Panzer IV would have lost. It's gun was not even designed against tanks. Like I said, if it was an F2 version, It would have without a doubt won.

That's an early war panzer 4,so it's main role was infantry support.not until the panzer 3 got removed (1944)

That's wrong. The Panzer IV F2, which is the first Panzer IV to have the KwK40, came out in 1942.
PzKfw IV always had a 7.5cm gun; either the short one (L24) Ausf. A to F1 or, as Gus Davis said, starting in early 1942 the long L43, Ausf. F2 to J

Very good animation, so smooth it can actually fool me. Of course seeing these are real lego I didn't but the animation quality can pass as an computer animation.
And is breaking some lego pieces really needed? I see the actual pieces broken which I think is kind of a waste on such a good set...
