    What They Believe is a series of documentary interviews with religious leaders about their faith.
    The goal of each episode is to allow the faithful to speak openly and deeply about their beliefs.
    The series creator understands that a single religious leader may not speak for all members of their congregation or other religious leaders within the same group.
    The hope is that this series creates a space for conversation, both within the same denomination and across different religions.

    Great guest - I found the synopsis video on the Rabbi’s site… glad I was able to find your channel, and the entire interview. One thing I really like about what he had to say was the fact that Jews don’t evangelize. One of the most off putting features of Christianity (in my own opinion, of course) is the aggressive recruitment. Glad to see someone stand up and say, “hey! Leave us alone!” Very brave, and very necessary.

      The point of this channel is to let people share what they believe, as the name says, and leaving only Reform *or* only Orthodox to represent Judaism would give a false impression of the faith as a whole. And when Franklin interviewed Rabbi Edery, a lot of Orthodox Jews appeared in the comments to challenge it - and now we're also getting that perspective on main.

    let me explain the esoteric Bible that ties Christianity, Judaism and Islam too (a little but enough) together so everyone can at least hear how it could be interpreted if they are able to receive it:

    • @yvonnegordon1952
      @yvonnegordon1952 Před 3 měsíci

      @abrahammani-3445 denying Christ or Messiah is denying your true life because your true life (soul) is connected to the anointing that is the blood of God (HASHEM): if you deny that blood how can your soul live? Could your animal body live without physical blood? Of course not: You don't see it unless you cut your self but it is the life force hence life is in the blood: So is your soul's blood (Christ) or the anointing the blood of God that keeps it alive. Christ is not a person till a person receives the blood to gain a soul and that soul is named Jesus in the Bible, but that is a name the gentiles would trust; The Jews have 72 names for God and none of them seem to be good enough because they prefer using "THE NAME" (Hashem):
      Paul said he bore the marks (STIGMA) of the LORD Jesus Christ in his body, and the 666 is the CHI XI STIGMA, the mark of the cross in Latin that is stamped on the soul of the one who bears that mark that enables them to BUY (of me) and sell (all you have), meaning sell your first identity and buy your soul from the ONE WHO enables you to have one, the ANOINTING OF GOD, the Christ, the LIGHT of the LIFE OF MAN:
      and that is the final point, the # of a MAN is the mark or end of the beast (the animal identity): THE HEART MOVES FROM BEAST (where it went through all Kingdoms as the DESIRE of an animal or five physical senses) to the DESIRE OF MAN, the image and likeness of God, five spiritual senses or the five virgins with OIL, or the anointing;

    • @yvonnegordon1952
      @yvonnegordon1952 Před 3 měsíci

      as for the sins of the Rabbi's, they are not privy to the Christ because they reject the BLOOD OF HASHEM or the ANOINTING (the only thing that makes TORAH a TREE OF LIFE to them. Judaism brings the CONCEPT OF MESSIAH but rejects that concept completely in favor of Jewish traditions and precepts taught of men. WHY? They are not allowed to see the truth or hear it till their APPOINTED TIME (mo'ed choq) their visitation (paqad) or their true feast days they took a VOW TO KEEP in order to bring the MESSIAH to the world. In order to experience these, they have to be willing to give up their OWN IDEAS of who God is so they can KNOW God through their heart and not just their "mind" (the over evolved part of them that gives them the biggest EGOS on the planet): It was meant to be that way because it is written, JUDAH would keep the law "UNDER" their feet (Malkut) the mind, until SHILOH comes and then to him (both Shiloh and Judah) the people would be gathered together. SO FAR, Jews do not accept Judah or David as Messiah and they may not for another 1000 years, who knows.
      It is written, I GAVE YOU A KING in my anger (King Saul from Benjamin) and I took him away in my wrath (the wrath for the vessel of vanity which is the MIND ALONE without the heart that is chosen to be the place for HASHEM TO LIVE. David represents the heart and Benjamin the mind, the KING of the mind. Israel loves their mind, their learning even if it never leads to the knowledge of the truth: THIS IS THEIR LOT, their curse so to speak. Israel and especially LEVI and Aaron (the priesthood) will not be able to get the MESSIAH (the anointing) till they come up with 30 pieces of SILVER (which is DESIRE) and their silver or desire for Messiah is cankered, corrupted. They can't come up with enough to gain Messiah to this day:
      Zec 11:12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
      Zec 11:13 And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
      silver or DESIRE is Elijah, the desire for Messiah is ELIJAH (HIS GOD IS YAH)
      Jews set a table for him on Passover but he doesn't show up because he has to come THROUGH THEM just as the MESSIAH has to come through them:
      Mal 3:1
      Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
      Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
      Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
      Mal 3:4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
      DID you read the last verse? ONLY THEN when Levi (Aaron) get it right, get their DESIRE RIGHT and come up with the SETTLED PRICE FOR HASHEM OR FOR GOD to give his anointing, that has to be OFFERED BY JUDAH, can not come till the DESIRE is purified within Levi:
      30 is the value of LAMED the only letter above the LINE because it is able to LIFT YOU UP ABOVE the animal soul to reach the anointing; It is the 12th letter and MESSIAH starts teaching the "ELDERS" (those who think they know the truth) in temple at age 12, hence A CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM.

    • @yvonnegordon1952
      @yvonnegordon1952 Před 3 měsíci

      Jews can't believe what Christianity teaches because it is wrong too. IT isn't animal blood that Jesus gave us but God gave us his blood, the anointing that baptizes us INTO JESUS NAME. So we all become members of his body the Last Adam. Isaiah 53 is about the SOUL that gives its life (the Christ blood of God) not the animal blood: The first Adam gave that blood when he dies and keeps dying for the curse put upon him till he REPENTS back to the good root (CHRIST) the BLOOD OF HASHEM so his SOUL can be saved and come out of the animal blood as his identity. Christians believe God killed a person for others but he only did that with the FIRST ADAM which seems to go over their head too but oh well. The second Adam is resurrected by the SOULS BLOOD, the CHRIST IN HIM< the anointing in him that takes him above the human blood.
      Well, it all goes over everyone's head because there is NO FRAME OF REFERENCE till one experiences the ANOINTING and sees that it is REAL (IsREAL): Once it is grasped, it is a tree of life (PLANTED BY LIVING WATERS (the anointing that rises to the place of your skull to bathe the brain in living water, the anointing.

    So my dad is Jewish, and I know conservative, and reform accept me for example accept me as Jewish. And it was originally patrilineal, as you pointed out; it was changed from all the raping and the pillaging, and it switched to women because men went to war. And Judaism did evolve and change, in the sense, if you look at Reform, look at Conservative, and look even within Orthodox themselves, they have several different strains. I myself am taking a course in Exploring Judaism so I learned all this stuff. The idea Judaism didn't change is incorrect. Converts, their children etc are accepted as Jewish. Jewish and Judaism are a peoplehood, religion, culture, and ethnicities. Many are ethno-religious groups and yes Judaism is one of them. When people try and tell me "You're not Jewish." because my dad is and my mom isn't I point out antisemites, and Nazis would consider me as such and throw me in the gulag as well.

If the Rabbis made a change, wouldn't you find evidence of that change? Please provide the evidence of the change. By the way, Conservative Judaism still rejects patrilineal descent. @abrahammani-3445
      The fact that we didn't "want him..." or didn't get him, is because:
      1. He is not the Messiah.
      2. If there was a Messiah, the world would be reformed.
      3. Unfortunately, the world is not fixed even after him - a sign that he is not the Messiah!
      4. What does it mean "We whispered about him...", since when did Gentiles care about what happens between Jews!? The matter of our relationship between the Jews has nothing to do with you gentiles - why are you interfering in our matter (Jews murdering Jews is your business - aren't you happy that Jews are dead).
      5. If he resurrected, then there is no murder - so why blame us for his death!?
      6. If we succeeded in murdering him - then he is probably not really the Messiah or the Son of God, because he died like a human being.
      7Your holy trinity, God forbids it for the simple reason: "May the living God be magnified and praised / found and there is no time for his fulfillment
      One and there is no individual like His uniqueness / Vanish and there is no end to His unity
      He does not have the likeness of a body and is not a body / we will not bring his holiness to him..."
      How is it possible that you gave him a body... a living figure... you split him into three... when he testifies to himself as unique, one and special.
      "The beginning of every thing that was created / is the first, and there is no head for its head
      He is the Lord of the world for every creature
      The abundance of his prophecy was given to him, his virtue and glory"
      Don't you believe in the "old covenant", God in your eyes is a liar who breaks covenants every Monday and Thursday (he changes nations and covenants) 😂🤣
      8. If God is a liar why do you believe in him!?
      9. And it is said about you in 'We must praise':
      "We must praise the Lord of all, give glory to the Creator in the beginning, that we have not acted like the heathen of the lands, nor have we become fat like the families of the earth. That we were not divided there like them, and (we were not) destined like all the multitude, (who bow down to vanity and emptiness, and pray to a God that is not Jesus)."
      You bow down to a Jew... simply... flesh and blood... whom the Jews refused to accept as a messiah.
      And all your prayer is to the holy trinity that it is impossible to know which of them is God!?
      "We pray to God and God does not save"
      (Nothing, a prayer to the air, meaningless, to vanity and emptiness, to a God who cannot save).
      10. Who decides: the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit!?
      In simple words: definite idolatry!!!
      Even the Muslims do not dare to split the unity of God.
      The aggressive barbarians, the ones bathed in fornication, the violence - do not dare to split the unity of God ☝️ One! !
