Cat Oven is so annoying I kind of wish this whole video was 44mins of u pinging Sporeweb Weaver.
I think that wizards should make it so that when you do the same action repeatedly a certain number of times it should just ask how many times you want to do it. Kind of like they do in paper. It would definitely speed up gameplay
yes agreed, but doesn't your timer expire after 30 seconds anyway so it stops infinite? Sorry still new to MtG Arena.
Ever tried to make 400 tokens in one turn? Yeah, arena doesn't play well with big numbers.
No they should not because you need to incorporate a way to stop some infinite combos into your deck or else the game would draw and having the option to stop the infinite combos would mean that some decks would play better online than on paper.

31:05 you should‘ve used the blast zone to kill torbran so the damage would‘ve been 2 and Not 4 so your terror would‘ve lived
I never thought of this combo. Thinking about splashing white to make a deck with divine intervention and swing with angels. Could be fun!!
Someone just did this to me and I immediately countered with find/finality next turn. Probably the most satisfying counter ever lol.

It's obviously more entertaining to beat them while they still have such a cheap and mindless combo in play. Plus, he beat them at their own game. The irony is delicious!
The real question is why he let his Terror die to the red deck sacing the creature with Torbran in play instead of using the Blast Zone in response and saving his Terror.

This should splash black for a Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose as a kill condition. Your infinite combo not only creates 1/1s, but also gains 1 life per iteration, so dropping Vito lets you ping them in the face for 1 infinitely. Alternately, you can add a Purphoros to give everything haste, which lets you mob them down with spiders on the turn you go off.
should have used blast zone at 31:09 to prevent the death of your dragon - you also should have done it when you first played it against the cat oven deck
Underrated comment could have saved his creature could have waited for the opponent to drop infuriate and responded to it... like if I make those this plays I always lose.. but this man goes unpunished... MTGA in a nut shell
@@thejesteramongfools To his credit, it's difficult to cast and play at the same time, and he's definitely not a pro nor does he claim to be. But sometimes newer players don't realize this and think that they're making all the right moves, so it's important to call out mistakes in my opinion. Even pros make lots of mistakes when they are streaming or casting - but yeah, it's amazing that so often when we see these massive mistakes they never get punished lol.

Fun Fact: I played against this combo once and the guy didn't make the Weaver indestructible, he just went infinite. A friend told me that it is wrong, rules say that when a creature hits 0, it dies, so Arena coded that wrongly apparently.
So Arena is waiting for the stack to resolve before it kills the spider, but it doesn't because triggers keep happening?

I must give kudos to someone who made a deck more annoying than cat oven and shoved that annoyance back into their face.
Instead of adding black to this (for Vito), I added white, as there are lots of easy way of making the invincible part (Fight as One, Selfiless Saviour, Unbreakable Formation), or if not invincible, then grow the Weaver as you deal it damage (and gain life)- Heliod, or Light of Promise.

What do you think of a Naya build with light of promise and selfless savior? With a light of promise on the spider you wouldn't need indestructible and it would get huge.

I took alot of pleasure turning the tables on cat oven decks with one that was similar to this one but it used woe strider divine Visitation and bishop of Wings for Infinite tokens life gain and scry lol

I would add Vivien, Monsters Advocate for sure. Helps by having you find missing pieces you need (send of terror of the peaks, also get spider with the -2) and also putting out those 3/3 creatures every turn also takes advantage of peaky boi.

I'm think purphoros would be amazing include in this deck...all the saps would have haste, could kill that turn
Joey...In that last match, if they didn't fall for the bait...On your next turn, you could have gone indestructible & Shocked your spider to start the loop...
I would maybe use a bonecrusher giant instead of shok, and a lodestep giant instead of cultivate because you can pick the 2 with lead the stampede (but then maybe I would have to change blitz of the thunder dragon, but there are many good options that I still believe the deck would get more strenght, and also they are good plan b stuff)
MTGA is fixed for the cat/oven combo to be always together on their first hand, haha. Also the only reason I maindeck the cage, you should see how they instantly concede or do the salty time out.

Played against an annoying deck today that, whenever the dude played a land, he would get double his guys that had that ability, and they were 2/3 creatures. After he got over 150 of em, i just gave up
So, can't we splash black and run Vito for the kill on the same turn? As well as just kind of being a decent card working with Klothys and the spider without the combo.

Now I'm not the best with the rules but this would be considered an unstable infant cycle. And those cant be played in most games. Cool deck to run with friends tho!
