You know the creator of this was one of those resident evil 4 players that spent hours organizing every item when they picked up an herb or an egg
Ah, I knew it! Soon as I saw the thumbnail, I thought, "Oh, looks like someone took the RE4 briefcase and turned it into a full game."
I’ve been playing the game in alpha/beta for well over a year, I highly recommend it
The literal definition of a Pack Rat.
Very nice happy to see the game making it's way forward to a wider audience.
Ngl, loving the song!
This game is cool
Well this is adorable
The music it's like a fusion of Mitsuda and Sakuraba's styles. Love it!
Thank you so much! I've definitely drew inspiration from Mitsuda's work on Chrono Trigger, Sakuraba's work on Tales of Phantasia, and other JRPGs from that era. Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire come to mind. In general I'm shooting for a SNES-y sound (some of the later songs are leaning more into early CD soundtrack territory), and tried to use instruments and synths that would've been used by composers from that era whereever possible.
Hoping to make more music like this in the future. Had a lot of fun researching and experimenting for this project!
@@BinaryCounter cool! I knew it sounded familiar haha. The inspiration is clear and you did a fantastic job emulating the sounds of the SNES RPG era while giving it an unique and personal touch. And while I'm not that sold in the game, I'll definitely check the full OST. Keep up the great work!
@@Will_7x Thank you!
Gonna purchase this as soon as I can spare some cash! Organization combat feels like it was made for me
A friend of mine recommended this one to me.
It definitely interests me with the anthro art and the concept of inventory management as combat.
Check out Backpack Battles, same inv. Management, but it's SAP instead of a roguelike
@@TheeMFGr0uch I just checked it out and it's god awful
Yo! I've been playing this for a while now. Hyped to see y'all be on Switch so soon.
Funni Rat with a Backpack ;)
I have the PC version and have been playing it for a long time, its pretty good and worth the buy.
Resident Evil 4 really did inspire this game lol.
Man, the No Exp challenge really slammed my head against a brick wall. Lol😅
Oh man, it’s out! Awesome!
I'm super intrigued by this! 👀
DO NOT sleep on this one!!!!
Resident evil 4 remake: While we made sure to keep the inventory system from the original we added an auto sort so you rarely feel the need to use it
Pack hero: I will make it the entire game and it's amazing
I love this game.
Yes I played the siit out of the free demo on a site!
Oh this scratches a certain itch for me, very interested
Time to add another game from my Steam Library to my switch 🐀 🎒
The best-looking game of today’s Indie World imo
An entire game about the best part of Resident Evil 4?!
Cool idea
Inventory Tetris, my beloved
Watched my friend play this one, banger roguelike
this game is fun
Great
I didn’t know bagin’s ancestors became game devs
I think if i wasnt currently getting deeply entrenched into risk of rain returns, I'd probably give this a shot
The demo is free
❤ kewl looks like fun
Anyone who's played this on Switch know if it has touch screen controls? Also, I've heard there are many bugs with the Switch version especially in story mode. Does the quick mode/or whatever it's called ingame have the same problems?
Game looks fun though.
WOW A NEW GAME I REMEMBER OLD NİNTENDO
Mmmmmm I hear this game like music
Present 4 Hours
Just Switch? Googling says it coming to PS and Xbox too?
May have been ported to Switch first and the others it'll come out later. I don't remember if it was timed exclusive which could also be why it'll come out later to other consoles.
I mean, this is the Nintendo channel. They're gonna advertise the Nintendo version.
The dev tweeted that it'll drop in 30 mins, so I guess we'll see. If it is only switch today I'm gonna wait a week to see if any other announcement is made.
Obviously they cannot tell you that is coming to PS and Xbox on a NINTENDO channel.
I heard it will come out to other consoles soon
Please add touch screen controls for switch. It's way better, but at least its still fun now.
"Backpack Hero"
Or in other words: "Dora the Explorer".
Not 4 playstation :(
This game is already on Steam, it’s called Backpack Battles.
Backpack Battles is a different game.
After experiencing this, I heavily advise everyone to stay away from the Switch port.
It's extremely buggy.
I experienced town progress being undone, the cursor vanishing, and even having my save file corrupted.
Until these bugs get patched out, do not purchase the Switch port.
Controls don’t work on switch. Avoid.
Im game (gay)
This looks like a cool interesting little game but it's definitely not worth $20
It has a lot of content
