Waylon Jennings was one person out of all the people in the world who I wanted to meet but never got the chance to. Rest in peace Hoss. Hope you'll take me for a ride on the other side. Your music has been a constant inspiration and comfort to me through trying and difficult times. Waylons music has always resonated with me in a way that made this ol country boy feel good.

I remember this album coming out and my father buying it, I was only 8. Myself and my twin brother used to go everywhere with my father. We went the length and breadth of Ireland listening to this album. Dad died last December but he gave me the best taste in music . Listening to this now nearly has me in tears hahaha feck sake.

Man how I miss having a station that played music videos. This was how growing up after Willie & Waylon had fallen off from the radio stations that I was able to keep up with them and these great songs.

I was born in 1969 and grew up very conservative. After chores were done.
I remember once we finished our supper at the table as a family OLD SCHOOL And much appreciated by my Mom and Paw .. We got to enjoy the Dukes of Hazzard and I always loved WAYLONS narration of the show then a little later when I could afford an old tape deck I introduced myself to Waylon.
His music has pulled me through HELL and Hells Hell.
