In fourth grade we did a spelling bee and there was this kid named Jackson. He was given a word that had like that had like 12 or 14 letters in it, like for example ‘multiplication’. And he said “p-l-a-t-e, plate.” My teacher said “are you sure?” All he said was “YES now let me sit down!” I am now hoping that one of these spelling bee years I’ll have the courage to be that kid😂😂😂

Ah yes I remember when our first English lesson started. It started in primary school actually (I speak German for native language not English btw). We learned some basic words and a view plurals but nowadays in HTC (Higher technical college) many of my classmates including me had a problem writing "being" correctly, we were always writing "beeing" instead of "being". and I still make the same mistake often enough. Like I instantly notice it but if I wouldn't there would suddenly be a "being" with double e in the text XD
