Loved the art deco building often in London we forget to look up and miss some fascinating buildings above the shopfront level.

nice little video of your wanderings in London .I did notice at approx. 8.07 in vid the statue and its that of king Charles the second The statue was erected around 1681 after his restoration. the square was named Kings square in his honour though oddly at some stage later it was misidentified due to it becoming grubby and blackened with age as being that of his illegitimate son James Scott.Duke of Monmouth who landed at Lyme Regis in 1685 and raised a rebellion against James II but was later defeated at the battle of Sedgemoor The square was also called Monmouth square for awhile and if I remember right was changed to current name when they realised it wasn't him..
