Great version of this song, nailed it! I love how enthusiastic this group is. I also love the fact that there are so many teens today who appreciate classic metal.
now, here are some kids doing something "pure" that really hard to come by these days. their parents did great!!!!!!!!!! I don't care how they sound but they do sound way way better than new rubbish that we hear on radios. more kids need to come to this rock n' roll world and we need it so bad. I don't know why people bash anyone doing a cover of a song they like, no one is going to sound the same as the mighty Maiden, if they did, whats the point - we already have Maiden. These young kids look like they are really into the song and are really giving it some, so I say f&#k yeah, rock on! \m/

Not a bad cover actually as it's very hard to get into Maiden's boots. I just feel like the guitar player taking Adrian's part should be louder. ;) The solo was pretty close to the original. The vocal parts are incredibly tough and it shows. You didn't do a bad job as we all know how high is Bruce's pitch. A like from me.

The backup singer looks just like my niece. The drummer is top notch. I'm sure you all have noticed that the various Schools of Rock performers choose to do classic rock and modern progressive and heavy rock. My take on that is that they (and their instructors) want to stretch themselves by giving a show that's technically exceptional. And that's not really possible with most modern music. Most musicians I've known wouldn't go out on a weekend and see some pop star, they have a list of 'musicians musicians' that they'll go to great lengths to go see.
There are some. Check out some of my full School of Rock AllStars shows and see covers of bands like Vulfpeck.
They sound good, but the singer has to be clearer when she sings.

Great musicianship, I'm gonna get ripped, but she is the wrong vocalist for this song, does have a good voice though
In the years since this, she's become a far stronger vocalist. I thought she did a great job on this, but honestly, there are some Metal fans who will never accept any woman singing Metal.

She had more of a Cher thing going on, but I think she did a good job and really warmed up towards the end. It was refreshing to hear them harmonize the chorus; even Maiden doesn't do that live.

the iron maiden version was the female version, this is the male version...These girls can't reach Bruce's high notes..

One sad part of the otherwise warm and friendly Metal community is their inability to admit that women can sing. I have hundreds of videos up, and the only videos that get "can't sing" comments are Metal ones. Oh, and Guns'N'Roses.

+Andre Felder I know what I see. I have literally hundreds of videos on CZcams, with kids of all ages performing rock music, and virtually all the negative comments are either G'N'R fans or Metal fans complaining that girls shouldn't sing Metal. It's become a cliché.
