I got emotional. Seeing these kids playing this all-time classic with so enthusiasm and soul. Dio would be so proud. Loved the keyboard player. She gets it!

She’s great for a teenager but she did butcher the hell out of the solo, still better than me.

Man the vocalist was exceptional. They all were. They did this song justice.
I know this is old, but I just came across it while searching "rock covers" or something like that. These kids, and all of the other "school of rock" covers are beyond good. I can only hope and pray that after the seven years since this video was made that all of these kids went on to earn great money pursuing any career in the arts that they wish to! The arts are dying, and this organization produced some awesome artists!

That chick shredded that first solo!! I'm 50, grew up on this music, and am so encouraged to see kids playing this.
I'm a 44 year man and the passion these kids have while playing DIo not only restores my faith in todays youth but I'm teary eyed right now, I ....... I gotta go.

I have seen School of Rock several times and there's always a few kids that stand out. The female guitar player will eventually go places.
I toured with Dio in 1985 for Sacred Heart and again in 87 for Dream Evil.
