For all the people wondering: The tone ENDS at 1:10 because of the youtube conversion!! It's not your hearing, although most adults won't hear much more. It's the MP3stream cut off at ~15,5khz (did a comparison with a SineGen) @TheBadcrack: It's probably some kind of intermodulation you hear, not the actual sweep

Your sound track is not correct. There is a modulation at higher frequency can be seen clearly like a am modulation and that is when the sound suddenly changes again from low to high pitch.

i analysed the audiotrack, the sinewave stops at 01:11. What you hear after 01:11 is a mix of White noise and other waves.
The reason is that youtube has audio compression that won’t produce sounds over 25000 hz

BTW IIRC you cannot produce frequencies above 22Khz with a youtube video, the sampling rate is just not enough.
