Damn, it's actually impressive, when he thought about what effect his english might have and why we want him to speak english, he actually took my thoughts and feelings on the matter perfectly out of my mouth. (about feeling more approachable to us) Same for the japenese, since I am learning it and never mean to offend, but it's hard to find the right words when the language has so many differences between formal speech and informal speech. I think it's pretty cool that he has such a good grasp on what we are thinking despite not even understanding us really
its very nice of him to talk about language barrier, i like how he explains the subtle things in it. he's very careful and considerate even though i think english speaking folks doesnt really mind mistakes or even cuss words (for me at least).

It seems like the western fan base grew exponentially after the twitch Genshin live stream (to me at least). He was able to charm so many so quickly I’m honestly so impressed.

Well I think it might be good for kanae to ask advice from someone knowledgeable in western meme like hana from niji id. She's fluent in japanese, have a big western audience, and knows her memes very well. She knows what youtube likes/dislike so she could help filters out inappropriate words, they also had a collab together before. But most of all I just wanna see more collabs with niji id guys...

And what I love the overseas fans are that they knew when to step in and to step out. And they will make sure they'll only teach him if he wants to. But other than that, they're pretty quiet in the chat live to make sure they do not overwhelm him with too much English or different languages other than Japanese or when Kanae actually wants the overseas to speak up.
