No need to apologise for pausing to appreciate BTS’s artistry. As ARMY nothing makes me happier than seeing & hearing others applaud their hard work & efforts.

No, they're not in a real museum, but it is a real set constructed just for this MV. All the statues, the paintings, the quote on the wall, the spoken words, are all very symbolic. True art, you are right.

Must to watch: : ❣️Blood Swear & Tears: What Does It All Mean by the channel Don't worry I'm not afraid. It's the most detailed explanation, referring to everything including excerpts from novel by Hermann Hesse 'Demian', translations & quotes from Neitzsche which is on the wall. As well as explaining Art works & scultures. Just so many details one might overlook otherwise It's basically about youth/adolescence, turning into adulthood, with new feelings, sensations, & temptations, and the choices & paths one chooses! Even the choreography reflects on the meanings of the song, which I recommend watching dance practice for also live performance of. 👍❤️‍🔥😍🔥🔥

Jimin wrote this melody! :) And yes, they are very involved in song writing, RM alone is credited with 225+ songs as a songwriter and composer by the Korea Music Copyright Assoc. Suga has 168 + songs credited and is prolific creating beats. JHope has 144+ songs credited. The vocalists all have several credits as well. They also produce, Suga in particular. He has written and produced for other artists and won awards for that work.

Suga is a mastermind producer. When they do their solo albums again in the future, I'd LOVE to see Suga produce JK's next album. It'd be a banger.

There are many BTS songs that has explanation videos to understand to more fully to the meaning of the lyrics, concepts, cultural influences and the inspiration for their songs and the mv. This song definitely warrants an explanation as the mv is so full of subtle clues that 99.9% of people watching it will miss. I’ve only seen 1 reactor who actually picked up on the many clues that were in the mv and I was blown away by it which lead to my interest in finding more about the meaning behind Blood, Sweat and Tears mv. I agree with the others who recommended Don’t Worry I’m not Afraid explanation of BST. Also, if you react to the BTS song Spring Day, please react to an explanation video for that song as well because the mv is based on true tragedy that happened in South Korea. I recommend the explanation video made by an Italian army. BTS took a huge risk of possibly being blacklisted by the S. Korean government by making this mv as the outcome of the incident goes all the way up to the president of S. Korea at that time. The Italian army explanation video covers all that whereas others don’t. Thanks for your reaction.

From now on just expect the best.
The guys write a lot of their own material, RM had been reading a bunch of old European 20th century philosophers.
Suga even learned to play the organ for this MV.

If I had to pick one MV... it would be this one. We watched it multiple time trying to figure out all the references. Everything has a hidden meaning. The green drink, the paintings, the sculptures, the bicycle, the flowers on the mantle, the wings, etc... It's a masterpiece.

All seven members of BTS are associate (Jimin, V, JIN) or Full members (RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jungkook) of the Korean Music Copywrite association. Jungkook being the most recent full member added. Also, you don't have to apologize for pausing. BTS ARMY understand if you need to pause, their music videos and their lyricism are on another level, and keep you thinking. BTS write their own lyrics and are involved in every step of the process. They are active participants in the making of their art. The excerpt is a paragraph from the book Demian by Herman Hesse. the song is about coming of age and facing temptation. There is so much more to it, but it's also a big part of their ongoing storyline running through their albums, called the Bangtan Universe.

  • @eileencritchley4630
    @eileencritchley4630 Před 2 měsíci +2

Yes they are very involved with their songs be it writing lyric's, composing music, producing they always have been when then don't do any of it themselves eg Jungkook Album he asked from songs and the chance to work with different people. Then from the one's that came in he choose the one's he wanted who from the list of different people he wanted to work with. So even when they don't do it themselves they'll have the finale say. As BigHit right from the start gave them 'Creative Freedom'.

BTS has many gorgeous MVs but this one still tops my personal list. It’s so full of art and mythology references you can watch multiple times and not catch them all. Black Swan, Fake Love, Spring Day and ON also have great visuals. The songs themselves are beautiful and deep.

LOL - I may be biased being Army but yes, once you watch their music videos and the precision of their performance and choreography, it's hard to watch other mvs, lol - they are always top tier - they've set the bar really high! And yes, they all have been writing and producing their own songs. But their main producers are SUga, RM and JHope.

The imagery is part of the lyric's meaning of the song so many reference's to temptation, Greek mythology, religious reference's even the items are using showing the going from childhood to young adult, loose of innocence, the apple in the hand, the decanted drink, the hands over the eye's the blindfold so they can't see and the temptations. V with his scares of his wings hacked off suggesting the fallen angle Lucifier (the Devil). Suga at the organ representing the Church Organist from the book Demian by Herman Hesse who was the young man's mentor in the book trying to guide the young man in the correct path.

Your reaction to this is so similar to what mine was when I watched it the first time. Their art really drew me in. There are fantastic explanation videos. I like the channel Bookish Theories the most. They analyse videos in such an intelligent way.
