The guy in the red is on the right track. It is about the fallen angel (which was V, not Jin) and about temptation and giving into it. All the boys did (thats why you see the green around them) and Jin was the last one (when he kissed the statue). That's why at the end he started to crack and bleed green. There are better explanations out there than what I can give that you should check out. This is my first video of yall so great job.

The painting at the beginning, that Jin was mesmerized by, is The Fall Of The Rebel Angels by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. And it was Tae (V), whose wings had been cut off.
Also, the words spoken by Namjoon (RM), during the "red break" were a quote from the novel Demian by Hermann Hesse.
It's an amazing MV. So many details in it, that you only pick up on the 2nd, 3rd, or 10th watch through.

이렇게 들으니까 굉장히 웅장하네요 ㅋㅋㅋ 아미로써 제일 뿌듯하고 드디어 암울했던 시기를 벗어나는구나 하던 시기였어요.. 어떻게 보면 그 시기가 아름답도록 하늘이 파래서 가슴이 더 시리던 시기.. 영어로 해석하면 이게 말뜻이 완벽히 번역이 안되서 와닿을지는 모르겠지만, 한국 아미들도 이 시기는 다시는 돌아가고 싶지는 않지만 그래서 더 아름다웠던 시기였어요,,,💜

Thanks for the reaction. You guys did well to get so much from it in 1 sitting. Definitely check out the explanation of the mv because its not possible to get it all and its all so beautifully done. The members of BTS are involved in writing many of their songs. And it was V with the melted wings. The BU is a fictional storyline that is through some mvs and other content and there is lots of guidance online but its a lot and its deep, confusing and can be heavy.
Thanks that means a lot to us! And definitely want to go back and dig deeper into the music and storytelling

Ooohh…I like that interpretation of “Is giving it my all (my blood, sweat and tears) enough to “make it” or do I need to give up my soul too?”. The song could be about the lure of getting involved with someone (or someTHING) you know from the start is dangerous or simply NOT good for you (like a person already married or something that may be addictive like alcohol/drugs/gambling). But it certainly could refer to the pursuit of success/fame. They touch a lot about the struggle to not “lose themselves” along the way in most of the albums following this one.
