My blinker light had been out for awhile, but I didn't know until my husband drove my van and asked how long the blinker light had been doing the fast click and I said, a long time? I had no idea that it ment that the blinker light was out! Anyways, my husband, like other commenters here thought it was going to be a huge job and put it off! I've been getting more worried about being pulled over or causing and accident lately, so when I was going to Canadian Tire tonight to get my daughter new snow boots, I asked my husband about it and he said we can try changing the bulb. So I bought the bulb! I searched for how to change a blinker light Dodge Caravan and your video popped up! I showed it to my husband and in less than a minute the bulb was changed and the blinker was working again! (My poor husband feels a bit embarrassed now though!) But thank you again so much!! 😁

thank you, signal was working/nonworking intermittently, took the bulb out, wiped the contacts with alcohol wipe, canned air in the socket, fingers crossed. Seems good now. Also, thanks for a succinct explanation with a minimum of yapping.

But I still like to fix the things that I’m able to - air filters, lightbulbs, etc. My left blinker just went out so I’m going to give it a try. Absolutely hope this helps! Yes I just did the min lights the other day and it's just as easy as the turn signal bulbs. You can do any of it with no tools required!

3 years later first time seeing August 7 2022
Thank you! I got the bulb in, but one of the "tabs" that hold the bulb was brittle and broke off. The bulb seems to be securely inserted, so hopefully the missing tab isn't a problem!

I had the same bulb for my semi truck, but it did not come out easy. I had no luck with a screw driver and had to pull it apart with pliers. I had a back up in my truck now I'm good to go. I like to check the bulb working before you put it back in. Thank you

Just don't touch the new bulb with your bare fingers... the oil will significantly reduce the lifespan of the bulb. Use a piece of cloth if needed, or rub alcohol to get rid of the oil.
