    I bought my 2nd Z32 in 2014 for $9k, it was a red 91 TT that was MINT inside and out, engine had been rebuilt, new turbos, clutch, blitz electronics stuffs, tons of nice quality parts, super nice car...spun a rod bearing after about a year 🙃. I was in college and couldn't afford to rebuild it so it sat for 9 months and then I sold it for $3k because i got impatient. Really kicking myself now with these prices lol I wouldn't be able to touch another car that was as clean for under $20k now. These prices are a joke.

    • @verdict1163
      @verdict1163 Před 2 lety +3

      Most rebuilt engines are a ticking time bomb. Unless you are extremely careful, it is very difficult to get close to the factory build process. Most rebuilds have a lifespan of less than half the factory.

    I'm glad this video came out when it did. A guy I know offered me a manual TT for $4500 that "just needs a fuel pump" I figure I'll buy him a fuel pump and throw it in, and if thats all it needs buy it. It's been sitting in his shop for like 3 years but it was supposably good when it was parked. Not sure about the mileage off the top of my head, but it was a car he was trying to sell back when he had his dealership he since retired though.

      Dam... 300zx for your first car.??? LoL LoL... Must have been nice... I had a hoopty: 1980 Malibu was my first car.. It was so slow it couldn't get out of its own way.. but I actually had to work for my first car.. mommy and daddy wasn't buying me a z32 when I was 16..
      And if you try to say you worked for it you are liar...
      I turned 40 last year... And just got mine.. But just like my first car,, I had to work my ass off to save for it.
      Only difference is now I have bills and a family... But I finally got my Z32 tt... And because it's been my dream car for more then 20yrs... And I worked my ass off for it, it makes it so much sweeter..
      Also I got lucky, and found the exact 300 I wanted... Down to color.... I think I got so lucky because I worked so hard for it. And waited so long for it...

    350Z touring wheels look real good on my 02 Maxima lol.. I use to drive a tow truck and one thing I remember about those cars is that the air dams were usually always messed up from being towed. the tow hooks have to be put on at the rear hook points under the car near the rear wheels. otherwise the winch cable bends and cracks the air dam..

      Since the z32 is 32 years old now it doesn’t matter at this point they all would have had their maintenance done and the once that haven’t are scrap cars or are about to be to be scrap cars all the deletes and tune ups are that are required. My 90tt is exactly the same as a USDM 96tt. Every thing that Nissan did to make the 94+ models more reliable people have done to their 93 models it doesn’t matter 94 model is still dated it needs work it’s not like your getting away with not working on your car just cuz it’s a 94 it’s 28 years old. also the changes made were very small new style injectors ECU electric hicas nothing much.

    The cars in Japan had 280hp. The north american cars had 300hp. That's why its called 300zx.

      Dang, that's crazy that Nissan used the displacement of the engine for the naming convention (2.4L for 240z, 2.6L for 260z, 2.8L for 280z and 280zx, 3.0L for Z31 300zx) for every car until the Z32 300zx, truly amazing. You learn something new everyday!

      No dude the reason it’s called a 300zx is due to it being a 3.0L engine also the automatic has 280hp while the manual got 300hp
