- You read the title right! All 6 possible signals on a thunderbolt excluding fast wail have been recorded. This is the first recording of any thunderbolt ever to do Pulse Wail in the wild on a commercial installation. This is the ONLY thunderbolt 1003 left in the wild in North Carolina, and it was a treat to get all signals running off of it.
Runs pretty pathetically. Solenoids broken… awful hi lo and they shut completely at one point.
Ran damn well for it's age!

The reason it ran so bad is because the flasher is broken so hi lo needs to be done manually, if it were fixed, it could do proper hi lo and hi lo wail.

1:40 yep that's what sets a thunderbolt siren apart from the new sirens, it has a much longer and wider range because the sound is a lot better focused through a longer projector than what you'd get with a shorter fiberglass or aluminum projector
This pulse recording proves that the Kuwait System 7000s were recorded in pulse. The recording I have was thought to be the Hormann electronic sirens, but this confirms as it sounds the same. Absolutely amazing.
The pulse in this video was manual. Kuwait's been proven already anyway, it's confirmed that the 7026 did come with 6 signals.
@@utahsirens No no, It also matches up with the one from the video of the aircraft crash in South America. I have a recording of the 7026's in Kuwait doing pulse.
@@HX56Music I was told from the person who made this video that the pulse was timed manually. No one was disputing the fact that the sirens in the Kuwait video were 1003s doing pulse.
@@utahsirens Ok, well they timed it really accurately to what a RCM would have timed it at, the other two pulse recordings in existence sound almost identical.

In the second activation it was actually making the wailing fire signal, but for some reason the code wheel is stuck holding one valve closed..
It's not stuck the motor coil is dead

@@SNIXC If it was *"stuck"* it wouldn't move, like for example: if a motor can't spin, the shaft is *"stuck"* because it can't move. I don't know where your information comes from but that's not what stuck means.

Flasher wheel coil is dead. They spun it manually on the high/low run. On pulse and pulse wail they used the switches.
