Sorry for your loss
May she rest in peace, my dog might join her soon though
so the dog is considered you sibling ? a brother/sister
My parents introduced a chihuahua to me when I was born.
His name was rox or something like that.
He was sitting next to me and growling at anyone who got close.
One day when my parents got back from work and grocery shopping they found my cord and come off.
And rox was chewing on it.
I didn’t seem unhappy but my parents still think either it just fell off and he thought it was some kind of toy to chew on or he himself noticed it and pulled on it till it came off.
I was also pretty allergic to dogs with fur and him practically smothering me didn’t help.
So they had to send him to another home.
They discovered that it was dog fur that I was allergic to and tried to find dogs with very little fur.
We eventually stumbled on spot who was abandoned by her mother because she was born deaf and couldn’t hear or see who mother.
She was showing ribs and we managed to care for who.
She also scratched off her entire upper coat so you can see who pink skin if you look at her from certain angles.
She’s very old now I think 8-9 but she still does this very annoying paw thing to try to get out attention.
Oh and I guess she liked barking at absolutely nothing rallying the other 2 dogs to join her barking at an “intruder”.
When I was a baby we had a dog and I considered her like a big sister. I mean, in my memories, she's still my big sister. It's pretty amazing.

Strangely enough, there are health benefits to this kind of relationship. You have to admit that exposure to the world and developing various kinds of natural resistance is there. Plus, there are so many stories of kids being saved by their pet siblings in so many situations. One little lady was missing. The family chew chew dog was going nuts. Finally, he got out. In a little while, he was gently leading the little girl back home by firmly pulling her shirt sleeve and would not let go. The family just now accepts the various chewed toys selected by the dog.
My sisters dogs are the same with her baby girl.
She has 3 huskies, the youngest a puppy. The 2 older ones always sleep in the babies room now and never ler her out of there sight. On walks and at the park they are vigilant with her.
The puppy is just a balls of chaos with the baby but learned boundaries quick. She sleeps in the crib with the baby now and its adorable.

Wise words, man, wise words.
You do not need animals to learn compassion. In fact, it is abusive to keep animals captive for your own entertainment. Pet owners are often the least compassionate people out there, especially since many pets are completely neglected and many are directly abused. Shelters are overflowing with neglected pets. @@nikieberhardt4624 I honestly don't think you were wrong in waiting till she was older. But that's my thinking on the matter.
My mom used to have a pet dog, when she was younger. When he died, my mom really got very sad. When I asked her, she told me that when a pet passes away, you won't be able to handle it. @@karindickinson7993 thank you so much for this, it was so beautiful and it brought a tear to my eye. I hope that one day I will get to see him again, that he is waiting for me somewhere where he is happy and healthy. He had the most beautiful soul, so so gentle and kind, very well behaved and playful. He always let me get in his space, he didn’t growl or get fed up. He knew exactly when I needed him. In the mornings he would come and wake me up for school by sniffing my face and waking me up with a laugh and when I was sad he would find me in my room and lick the tears from my face. The adventures we went on in the garden when I was little I will always cherish. When we had to put him down he never freaked out, he was so calm, he lied down with his head on the ground and looked up at all of us like he knew it was time and that he understood why we had to do it. He was so relaxed, never moved from that position and just kept his eyes on us, he let the vet do what she was doing. I held his paw the whole way through until the end when we had to leave, but we were there for him right until his last breath and he passed knowing that we were there for him. I’ve even kept notes on things I never want to forget about him. He was a beautiful mixed dog, part Staffordshire, part Labrador (we think) and part something else. He had a beautiful black short fur coat with white around his neck and tummy and white tips on his paws and a black polkadot spot on the white patch on his neck. I adore him. I hope everyone will be able to happily reunite with their departed pets one day. Hugs ❤️
That's what I feel whenever I watch videos like this. Yeah, it's super cute for you, and I'm sure the baby and pup will have a great few years together.... but dogs only live like 10 years. Losing a pet is hard. I've experienced it. But imagine being 10 years old... and losing LITERALLY your best friend of your WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE... at age 10. A constant. An entity that has been side by side with you every single day you've been alive. And then at age 10 (or whatever)... you lose that constant. I'm not saying DON'T raise pets with babies... I'm just saying my heart hurts for her future pain. My Dad always told me, when I used to beg for a cat or dog... "It's nice when you have them... but it hurts when they leave."
i read this and started crying. im sooo sorry for your loss.
I understand your pain. To everyone here that had to say goodbye to a beloved furry friend, I believe they are all waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge to love & be together once more, forever.
I've read kids that grow up with animals tend to gain a lot of mental fortitude. I can see why, it's a strong emotional bond plus it gives plenty of stimulation for the child's brain.
and it reduces the chance of the child building allergies into many things in nature.
@@fly89 Lol I grew up with cats and later dogs and I’m still allergic to nature. And I developed an allergy to cats a few years ago.
I think they end up having better immune systems in general too.
@@Pirategirl4nightwish check your diet. Glyphosate & gmos tax the immune system. I was deathly allergic to animals. Once I cleaned up my diet, all organic, no meat, no injections, my immune has been rock solid and no allergies whatsoever 👍🌟👍
@@hecatelove9667 shut up Karen
And your unvaccinated children

@JLOCC bruh why tf would a pet who grew up with a human and didn’t bite him, that then he would bite him when he’s older lmao
We need ? WE WANT !!!
So adorable
My mum did this for me when I was little, but with a little Boxer pup. She was my best pal for 11 years until she sadly passed away from cancer. I Miss her everyday
My dog recently passed away. I was a baby when we got her. I'm about to turn 18 and she passed at 17 and a half. The death is very painful and I feel lost without her but she will always be my sister and I will carry her in my heart for the rest of my life.
People don't realize how hard it is to lose a dog if they've never had one. I share your pain.
@@bunkyman8097 I'm afraid so. She was human to me. I'll answer people yes I'm that sad over a dog, she was my sister. I'm sorry you had to go through that though
@@emilystuchbury589 my dogs are my children I have lost a few
@@bunkyman8097 I don't think I've read it but I have heard people say of animals going over the rainbow bridge. I'll give it a read thankyou.
I’m so sorry...I know that feeling well...
I hope that dogs lives to be a million years old. I cant imagine Hazel losing a friend like that.
@The Illegitimate President No she means that it would be great if dogs could live as long as we do.
I dont think that I want to live forever either. Well I do want to live forever but its not possible.
Yes I remember my first dog I’m 61 I was 7 when lefts us still shed tears for him
Dogs are angels and this is the reason why they have a limited and precious amount of time in this planet. Heaven calls them asap.
I had a husky like this when I was one. He was my birthday present and he was named "Miko". This video reminds me of him and I when we were little. Sadly, though, he had passed away on the 26th of September, 2019 at the age of 12 from cancer. I'm so glad that this little girl gets to have the best friend of a lifetime.
So very, very sorry 2 hear of your animal family member. I know what that feels like. Your memories of that special pooch will last a lifetime.
They become angels on the other side. I just know it. Thanks so much 4 sharing.
This is the reason I've never wanted a pet, I don't think I could deal with the loss. I wish that either dogs/cats lived longer, or that turtles were cuddlier.
@@robyndismon394 Robyn, yup, and YES, the RAINBOW BRIDGE does indeed EXIST!
