- This is an overview of the Ashdodite tribe. It details who they were, where they came from, and where they went. It's also part of a larger series I'm doing on the Nephilim tribes in the Bible. Each tribe in the series is addressed as a standalone entry, so there is some overlap. As always, the Berean challenge (Acts 17:11) applies to every episode of TL. I am 69 and have been studying the Nephilim for a while, but this series is breaking new ground for me. My biggest takeaway is "Why hasn't someone done this before?"
@@kenammi355 your limited skills in logic and English makes it difficult to discuss this with you. Your use of pronouns is inexact and confusing. Your logic, such as it is, repeatedly relies on unsubstantiated assertions (e.g., he contradicted the Bible five times).
There are several noted biblical scholars who address what seems to be your point, and they disagree with you, as do I. The scholars I rely on all profess to be believing Christians as well as being noted scholars. Presumably, they would care very much if they contradicted the Bible once, much less five times, as do I.
You seem to have a case you want to make and convince others of the validity of that case. So, I suggest you make your case instead of ad hoc insults of the works of others.
No, post - flood Nephilim does NOT mean God failed.
The pre - flood world was completely taken over with contaminated blood save for one family. It had to be stopped from making 100%.thus the flood cleared the slate.
God was not finished with them yet and had other purposes, such as keeping the chosen promised land ( it had not been promised yet ) basically uninhabited , and for testing the chosen people when it was time for them to take it over.

Velikovsky did research on all mythological creation stories on the planet, and he made a common correlation amongst them, the fallen ones, the flood, giants etc. common themes across all cultures, the Greek gods were the fallen ones and they worshipped them, interesting stuff.

Tehom (Hebrew: תְּהוֹם təhôm) is a Biblical Hebrew word meaning "the deep". It is used to describe the formless void that existed. Day One describes the beginning of all matter yet without atomic or molecular form. Beginning in Day Two the Lord God creates form out of the formless material of Day One. Hope that helps, Jesus is God.

@@mikegyver3193 in Genesis 1, he is called the serpent. Lucifer, the devil, the serpent, Satan, the dragon of Revelations 3 are all generally considered to be the same entity that Jesus called Satan in Luke 10 being cast out of Heaven like lightning. A more detailed answer to your question is available, just do some research.
