Thanks for watching. Cheers - Hudba
I totally agree with you on George. It's why I have always loved this song.
George the unsung hero, underrated and under appreciated. He really came up with so many gems.
We love George 🙌🏼
Underrated? You’re talking about George Harrison…the Beatle George Harrison
@@Donjeur I would guess Shelley meant in comparison to Lennon/McCartney songs and the praise and attention they received in comparison to Harrison songs, by the mainstream media
@@Donjeur still underrated and under appreciated
6:51 That bridge is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Those chords really pierce the soul
50+ years and the Beatles are still being analysed musically 🎼, says it all really. SIMPLY THE BEST EVER.
Totally agree with you...loved Rod with The Faces, ESPECIALLY THIS SONG!
Just watching this while the wife watched TV and there is a lady called Yoko on there. Back to this though. Always been one of my favourite Beatles songs because of its simplicity. Never fully appreciated the amazing guitar work behind this. I need to practise lots!
Amazing tutorial! The Beatles are my favorite band and every time you make a new tutorial of one of their songs it just makes my day!
Thanks bud, yeah, the Beatles are amazing in so many ways. cheers
Glad u realize that Plant 😜
I have heard you say that your ripped off many of the Beatle's songs in the Led Zep repetoire is that right?
When you said " ... it's just pure George right ..." and chuckled ... made this man smile. Understated. That was George. Sublime. There was a comment purportedly made by George which was that he believed Paul overplayed on Bass - he should have played less? We must remember there was peerage within the band, George was the "little brother". For him to "knock out" this bass line says a lot by him - playing a little. RIP
So there was no bass on this song? Interesting.
Doubtful George criticized Paul's bass playing and wanted less as Paul is widely regarded as one of the finest rock bass players. Beautiful melodic bass playing.
@@Better_Call_Raul it have, that's what George's playing but he didn't use electric stuff because Paul don't want it. He wants it to be acoustic
George initially didn’t like the bassline on “Something” and he was pissed that Paul created something so “busy” for his tender love song. George Martin sensed his anger and asked him to take the mix home and listen with headphones because it was a really beautiful creative counterpoint that Paul worked hard on for George’s song. After he took it home he realized how perfectly it fit the song and how much beauty it added to it. I’m glad George Martin convinced him, I personally can’t imagine the song without it.
What a blend of guitar/bass movements combined with incredible vocal harmonies. My #1.
Here I am 4 years later, and you, Andy, are still the Best !!!! Thank you, Thank your Family, for sharing their time with you, with us! We are all so blessed..
God Bless You and Yours !

these videos are so good that i don't even get mad when an ad comes up
Welcome back! I have no desire to learn this song, but I always check out everything you teach because I learn something new every time I do. Such as a tuning or a chord I have never thought about using and also different versions and ways of playing a song which I am so glad you do! I struggled to play tears in heaven for ages until you showed different ways to play the chords. Can't wait for the next lesson see you soon!
I don’t know how anyone could thumbs down your lessons. They are always spot on.
Gongratulations, excellent Geoger's part. Very close to The Beatles' performance. Perfect black dress to see your hands and cords👍👍👌👌🎸
Cheers Andy. I've been waiting weeks for something new to learn. As ever you have delivered another first class lesson. Thanks for your dedication and professionalism and expertise. Without a doubt the best tutorials ever.

Shutup & Play - guitar tutorials Can you make a guitar tutorial on Here Today by Paul McCartney?, I would appreciate it so much and I think so many others would too
Awesome job! Truly grateful for online teachers like you, it's helped me develop as a player exponentially. I would really love to see a full tutorial to Blue on Black by KWS, as there's none on CZcams currently. That would be killer, it has one of the greatest blues solo of all time in my opinion. Keep rocking! 🤘
Well done! I appreciate both the accuracy of the various guitar parts and your enthusiasm for the artists you cover. :-)
I´ve been playing for a couple of years now and I owe most of what I know to you! In my opinion the BEST guitar teacher out on the internet given your taste and knowledge of music! If you ever get the time I would really enjoy watching you teach "Get Back", I´ve already learnt it from other OK tutorials, but nothing compares to your judgement when it comes to getting it exactly as the original (as well as giving many other fun facts which makes the lesson as good as can be).
Also just curious if you ever considered making tutorials on Simon and Garfunkel songs. They have many great songs in which I struggle to figure out what the guitars are doing, some like "Me and Julio down by the School yard" and "Keep The Customer Satisfied" have 2 or 3 guitars being strummed at the same time and you would probably nail the chords just by listening to it.
PS- I can only imagine the amount of time and effort that goes into making these videos, so I don´t want you doing anything you would rather not do, just wanted to thank you and leave a couple of propositions without any expectations!
Totally agree with you! 👍
Get Back starts in a A7 at 5th fret.....G.....3rd fret....then open D.
Love it, you really made me appreciate that bass part. Thanks
Amazing ! I still struggle for the Am part you’re doing it so perfectly !
Thank you so much for sharing your phenomenal talent. You made my week! Peace my friend and keep jamming!
Thank you for harrisons bass line..right to the point!
You are truly talented, personable, and enthusiastic! You just got your self a new fan tonight, and I really enjoy watching you. You have great teaching skills also keep up the good work 💪
greetings from australia, magic mate, very nice. the beatles, have really been touched by the music lord. how else could they have
played these awe inspiring music.
Thank you for this. This is my Saturday song to learn
Thank you for your patience. I appreciate it .
Your chanell is so good. Thx! And I like how you explain struming with dadaradada and not with those up down up down I don know where am I up down..
you are really good at this, I am a completely inept player and this tutorial has helped immensely.
It always amazes me how great of a guitar player Paul is, not to mention bass, piano, drums and beyond. Michelle, I Will, Blackbird, Yesterday and even Her Majesty are incredible! I thought that I had this one down but it's back to the drawing board. Thank you for posting another great lesson!
Hey John, yeah Paul is such a natural musician whatever he's playing he just makes it look so easy. His bass playing is off the charts. I think he may be one of the greatest, most musical bass players of all time. Sometimes when I listen to Beatles records, especially Abbey Road, I just listen to the bass. It's absolutely brilliant! You're also right about his guitar playing too, his stuff is deceptively hard to duplicate, more so his finger picking stuff because he has such a unique style. cheers
Remember back in the day when Playboy Hall of Fame stated that he was the best rock bass player year after year. I'm a huge Beatles fan and I think Abbey Road is probably their finest work. Of course I love all of their albums and they all have their unique place in history.
I tell anyone wanting to improve their guitar playing, to listen to you. Brilliant.
I love this song. Oh my freaking gosh
You make the best lessons. You have teached me Black Dog, Black Bird, Landslide and others I'm sure :)
Thank you very much Fillippa! Everyone should check out Fillippa's youtube channel. She's awesome! cheers

Sorry to be that guy, but someone had to do it
Thanks so much once again. Just the best cover song teacher on the web! I´ve even home recorded some of the tunes I`ve learned from you. And Georges lines in this song is just heaven. Thanks!!! Cheers from Uruguay :)
Nice job on this. Best I’ve seen
Love this
I did some research on this song because I thought I saw it on Ed Sullivan show live. It was not live, but a clip, they sent the show aired on 3/1/1970 along with Let it be. Long time ago!
This is just an awesome tutorial. Plenty of other lessons on this song on the web, but none that close to doing justice to the original like this one does.
Fantastic tutorial. Very accurate.
George did a similar thing on 'Don't Let Me Down'--He plucked out a simple bass part on electric guitar along with a vocal verse and it sounds neato-torpedo.
Actually, Paul played bass on Don't Let Me Down. www.beatlesbible.com/songs/dont-let-me-down/ George played the great guitar fills. I go over those in depth in my Don't Let Me Down lesson: www.shutupandplay.ca/dont-let-me-down--electric.html I played bass in my demo and it's a fantastic part! Cheers, Andy.
Just magnificent
THANKYOU SIR!!!
4 Thumbs up (my wife is watching the lesson with me)!!!!!
you are an awesome teacher
So good! Thank you
Great video, thank you.
Great lesson sir! I do think that the chorus section is simply 3/4 timing and 3 counts all the way through. If it's not the case, it certainly makes it easier for a novice like myself....
Thanks .... The Best !!!!
Great Tutorial. Thx.
Nice lesson.
You are great sir, I sallute
this lesson is longer that some more complicated songs but does not matter. Once again you showed us that you can hear every freakin sound from every song! You are really the best!!!
P.S. some of your Led Zeppelin song are attacked by copyright claims (even though that are not allowed to do that) so there is no sound on those song, and you should reupload them
Can you do I'm looking thru you.in particular the tawny acoustic sound if posdible.thanks
Great lesson! With a special appearance by Van Morrison's 'Brown Eyed Girl' at 1:42 !
You are amazing
great stuff
Very fab, very gear.
Requesting a comprehensive series of Rutles song lessons.
Thank you.
~RG
Very nice. Can you do the Twickenham version where Paul imitates Elvis' voice?
George is so creative...
Man! You are the MAN. I rate your teaching 11 out of 10. How can I donate?
Thanks Randy! www.shutupandplay.ca/donate.html
Cheers, Andy
DO YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE U MAN !!!!
Another great lesson - a lot easier than Anji which you also taught me to play. Does Two of Us sound like "Love grows where my Rosemary goes" to anyone? Hadn't noticed before....
Your guitar sounds great. What is the make and model.
Great lesson what Taylor ya playin? I have a 314 ce . Great great guitar Taylor's are they make em in my hometown. Fun lesson Im a Beatle nut saw them on Ed's show when I was 9. Been hooked ever since.
Awesome thank you. Do yo EQ the parts up or down to pull them out of the mix while learning? Or is it inbuilt from years of listening?
What amazes me is when these guys figure out there is capo or an open tuning. It blew my mind the first time I found out "Little Martha" was an open tuning.( I did my transcribing with listening to the highest note and the lowest, but this guy is truly amazing no doubt.Consider the context - what key is it in. And if you know you chords well enough, relative to the complexity of the song - good luck with figuring out a jazz song - that there will be a chord that will reflect what is being played, which will have the note that you are trying to find.- Just say'n )
I like Guitarra is beautiful and sound great
Agree, a great George part....he looks so depressed sitting in the video however, like get me outa here. He probably was pissed at Paul for getting on his case about not playing this or that. Plus Yoko sitting with John. I wonder what back story is on him playing the lead bass part on guitar. And sad Ringo! Poor guy trapped in the middle.
12:10 reminder for me (George's tricky part).
Love the profile pic
Sorry I’m struggling with George’s part. Is there any tab to this? 🙏
Did you know a few of your led zeppelin lessons got copyrighted? I was in the middle of learning 'going to california' but now the video was taken down and it doesn't work on your website either. Just wanted to know if you were aware.
What kind of Bb Fingering you did on the Middle-8?
If you ever get the chance to do a song by the Dixie Chicks, it would be greatly appreciated. =)
Have you ever done any lessons on Bread? Most people might not even know who bread was David Gates and bread in the early 70s. Them and Creedence Clearwater Revival brings back so many memories of course I was only 10 at the time.
I was 10, as well, Suzanne ~ cool chunk of musical time: 3Dog night, Grass Roots...& Bread: "If" would be good to know.
Jeffry Davis
Thanks for the response, kindred spirit.
I never send you my money, but I'm always sending you love. Thanks bro.// You should take a swack at Dylan's "Positively 4th Street", super cool song which is a great study in arpeggiated "Closed Triads", not super difficult as it is very clever and fun to play.( 4th fret capo - go figure) Just wanted to compare my solution with the master.
Why would anyone downvote this?
La linea de bajo que toca George Harrison la toco solamente con el pulgar
Not to mention the “we’re on our way home” chorus part comes in a bar late.
I remember watching them sing this song on Ed Sullivan show. I thought it was a strange song selection because it wasn’t one of their hits but great song none the less. Thanks for the lesson
They didn't play this song on Ed Sullivan Show. Their last live performance together was on the rooftop concert in 1969 before the Let It Be album came out. You must be mistaking this song for something else
@@notsoaveragejoe7275 or he’s lying, boomers tend to do that
Where do you find the demo videos ? The start card says there is a link in description but none to be found.
www.shutupandplay.ca/two-of-us--acoustic.html
Thanks!
Wait... George played the bass on this song and Paul played on of the acoustic guitar parts? I had no idea.
Maybe because you didn't watch let it be session
Can you whistle it, John was such a good whistler, harder than you think
I know this probably I question asked a lot but I can’t find the answer. What kind of strings does he use?
There's a link to my gear page in the description box below each video. I list everything I use there. Cheers
@@ShutupAndPlayGuitarTutorials You’re awesome. I never thought you would reply to such an old video. Just wanted say thank you for everything man. I’ve been playing for two years now and you have easily been my biggest source of knowledge. Truly wouldn’t have gotten this far without you. Thank you.
What is the chord at 6:51, when you change it too b flat
Bb?
@@Carlos-xz1qx Now that its been 3 years and I play guitar, I realize how dumb this question was lol
is that a taylor mini?
There's a link to my gear page in the description box below each video. I list everything I use there. Cheers
We got John and Paul’s part, really need you to be George..🙂
10:21 bass line
11:48
9:50
11:21
Muy largo el vídeo para una canción tan sencilla.
It's kind of weird. George did a great lead for Two of Us but he couldn't find it for his own composition Taxman. Paul knocked out the lead on Taxman in two takes. Go figure.
They all had their certain forte. The beauty and diversity of the Beatles. George played bass on some songs as Paul did the same with lead guitar.
No biggie.
How about that part that goes …." you and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead....." ?
6:36 John did you watch the video??
@@ShutupAndPlayGuitarTutorials That's the cords that Paul plays, how about the lead guitar that George plays ? You didn't show how to play that part.
13:18 Dude, just watch the video! It's all in there...
yo bro be slower the next time pls btw you are awesome playing guitar
Dang it man. You’re just demonstrating the song and barely even teaching
“One of Paul’s songs “ it’s George’s
Nope.
No man. Don't do heroine
They made a lot of money on a couple simple chords...yup.
Jealous?
