"Jews in Medicine" Presented by The Genesis Prize Foundation

- The Jewish commitment to saving and preserving life dates back thousands of years. Throughout history, Jews have been at the forefront of medicine as surgeons and scientists, nurses and neurologists, and many other medical professions. In the modern era, more and more Jews joined the medical profession, and our representation in medicine became far greater than our percentage of the world population. Jews invented some of the most significant medical innovations of our time, including the pill camera, the Heimlich maneuver, and the world's first 3D printed heart made with actual human cells. And over the past two years, Jewish doctors and scientists have helped lead the way out of the COVID pandemic, the world's worst public health crisis in a century.
This video premiered at the 2022 Genesis Prize award ceremony held in Jerusalem to honor Dr. Albert Bourla, Chairman and CEO of Pfizer.

What about Jewish contributions to the field of medicine?
Jews are always studied more than other people. Their contributions to human beings is always a benefit for us.

I borne and raised in Iranian Jewish community.
In countries such as Iran Jewish and overall minority group try that their children be able to work independently even in the situation all of the sudden government turns upside down.
To be doctor, pharmacist, dentist, builder, and businessman are among the list and of course to be a doctor is most important.
I myself initially liked to study about farming, but eventually I am pediatrician now!
One usually associates Einstein with Jews, but the Genesis series enlightened me a lot more. It's amazing that such a small population of people have contributed much to humanity. It's not surprising that they are referred to as 'the chosen people'. Considering their massive contributions across medicine, music, science, cinema, theatre and other fields, maybe they can be so.

No other group of people contributed near as much as the Jews, to the betterment of human kind- ❤

Nuclear Bombs - Over 500,000 killed
Transgenderism - Suicide and degradation of society

Israel - Hundreds of thousands killed
Holodomor - 40 million killed
Funding of every war since napoleon - countless numbers of lives lost
Weimar Republic - Thousands upon thousands killed themselves and led to hyperinflation destroying a once great nation
Besides these obviously horrible "contributions", what else did they contribute to that wasn't an utter and total disaster for non jews?
When my Dad tried to get into Medical School in the 30's he told me anti semitism was very strong, and there was a quota for Jews. This Brooklyn boy whose parents barely spoke English, transferred all the way to Deep South U of Arkansas. Graduated top of his class, was accepted into UArkansas med school. And then denied entrance when they found out he was Jewish. He persisted and worked in a store for a year before with support of his teachers was finally admitted.
