Under Harsin, the only position groups that got better were the opposing teams position groups.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - C5
😅
He made Bo leave, kicked Kobe Hudson off the team, refused to recruit or even try, BUT spent every Friday night watching his own son play football while other coaches were on the road. He refused to learn how to do Zoom calls when COVID was happening, and his OWN locker room turned on him after 1 season!!!!! He ignored parents and couldn't be found on recruiting visits, and beyond his own workout regimen he didn't do what it took to win. YET, HE STILL WON'T SHUT UP after we gave him a fortune to walk away. This guy is my all time least favorite hire. I'll take chizik, Tony Franklin, Alex Gibbs, and several others over this poor excuse for a coach. GOOD RIDDANCE!
You said every thought in my head just perfectly! Great stuff! - C5
Amen brother!!!!
I kinda understand his hatred tho... the boosters tried to ruin his family... was he a terrible hire and coach? Absolutely 💯 no way to deny it. Did he deserve to have his entire family life deserve to be put in jeopardy because of that? Absolutely not, that as low as it gets especially for a program that constantly pats itself on the back for its Christian values....
@@dangerousdylan6262 explain specifically what the boosters did to his family. Not denying, just asking. Also no matter what happened please explain what any of his staff, players, or innocent fans, did to deserve to be mistreated or dragged through the mud by him, or people calling Auburn evil? He was being lazy in recruiting loooooong before any family incident by the way.
We don't see eye to eye on this. I don't think they made up anything - C5
@Charlie5, we are so glad that you have moved your TopButton podcast to Daily! Auburn is going to have a great year in Football and Basketball in 2024/2025! The future is so bright, we gotta wear shades! 😎
Let’s gooooo - C5
People aren’t humbled when they are still getting paid after being fired for doing a shitty job.
It’s honestly astounding that he could be mad at anything - C5
@@AuburnDaily_ Agreed! I wish I had the ability to be completely abysmal at my job, get fired, but still get paid millions.
Hes probably still mad because of the affair allegations. That was uncalled for@AuburnDaily_
@@thomasdickey1397 I don’t agree - C5
@@thomasdickey1397 the allegations came out way after the fact that he was shitty at his job. Dude straight stole money from AU.
“We will be fine as long as he is the coach at Auburn.” Kirby Smart talking to Gwinnett County, Ga coaches about Harsin.
Don’t doubt that quote in the least - C5
Got a source on that quote?
My son. Next question?
@@Threeboyszjn Thanks. About what I figured.
Harsin was bad, malzahn was average.
That’s fair - C5
Haskins sure is bitter for someone who got paid millions because he sucked at his job. I wish I could get fired and get paid millions of dollars. 😂
Who wouldn’t be happy with $15mill to sit in your couch or just flex in the mirror all day - C5
@@AuburnDaily_exactly. I’d be spending $200k a year on baby oil and fake tans.
That may not be enough for them... - C5
Anyone that’s following what Harsin is doing is pretty much on the same level as Harsin following what people say about him.
Um it gets blasted all over social media. We aren't out here just searching for it....
C5, our RB group got better under him. Not only Bigsby, but he vastly elevated Jarquez his freshman year. Everywhere else, on the field and off, Potato Famine was a disaster.
Yes Jarquez is his one claim to fame who he honestly got lucky with in the late signing period - C5
Sure, Hunter signed during the Harsin years, but I credit Cadillac more than Harsin for that RB room
Jarquez was a great rb2. Bobbie was better than Jarquez and maybe Tank
Very fair! - C5
I feel coach Bryan Harsin is a good coach but not a good “recruiting” head coach at SEC or Big 10 level. I don think his head coaching skills was the problem. He beat Missouri and Texas A&M and only loss to LSU by 4 points. And that is with Robby Ashford playing as the quarter back. With the roster he had to work with his coaching performance wasn’t too bad. His primary problem is recruiting as a head coach. Therefore I feel if he would have started off in the SEC as an assistant coach, position coach, or maybe even a coordinator where he would have had more time to see the value of recruiting in the SEC for a few years he could have had and may still have the opportunity to see how things are done in the highly competitive for elite 4 and 5 star players is in the SEC.
Well unfortunately recruiting/roster management is like 80% of coaching football in the SEC. He saw that for 2 years and still thinks he's right - C5
I use to think that but no one got better. Even the kicking got worse.
Look at what Coach Caddy did with that roster the minute Harsin hit the bricks and tell me again he was a good coach.
@@brianbentley8544 I be glad to. But first you will get no argument from me that he was not ready to be a SEC head coach at that time. I clearly said that in my comments above. All I said is he has coaching skills and potential to do a comeback at as a subordinate member of a coaching staff such as position coach or quarter coach where he can apply the football skills he has and slowly learn the value of recruiting. He would have never been considered for that job in the first place if he didn’t have a record of a winning coach. Harsin had two major strikes against him. (#1) the distraction of having to deal with the stress of having unsubstantiated personal attacks that was never proved to be true. (#2) having a low understanding and appreciation of the value of recruiting. Having been a head coach with much younger kids myself at one time in the past I am well aware of the high intensities of the stress of wining game and not being the coach of the worst team in the league.
Love your daily show! WDE!
Thank you! WDE - C5
Man I really like your show, don't you forget the people that comment now before you get huge. War Damn!
I really like you and would never forget! - C5
Just know C5 if you ever come out with a paid subscription I’ll be a day 1 member!
I appreciate it homie! - C5
I honestly think he does this stuff just to rile up the Auburn fan base. Hence why I just ignore it, don’t wanna give that man any satisfaction lol
I get it but it's fun to talk about! - C5
@@AuburnDaily_for sure !
I use to buy athlons and Lindy's
Tradition man! Football season is close! - C5
RB is MAYBE the only one to upgrade but it’s not cause of 🥔
I mean he signed Jarquez and that’s really it - C5
auburn will never be good with .. huge John freeze is coach.. sad situation on the plains
Is this even English? - C5
He is searching content because he thinks, “Little things I should have said and done, I just never found the time, but you are always on my mind.”
Haha! - C5
Guilty conscience! He knows he didn’t do his job and treated Auburn as a money grab. PERIOD!
100% - C5
If I were Au, I would have sued Hardin for breach of contract by not doing one productive thing related to his job!! Move on Harsin with the millions you did not earn!
It was malpractice! - C5
At this point I don't care what Harsin has to say about Auburn.
We would have been better off hiring Mike Bobo as Head Coach rather than Haskins.
I 100% agree. Bobo was the fall guy - C5
Harsin is bout as bright as a box of rocks 🪨 dude is just pissed freeze has showed him up. I seriously doubt he would be an elite jr high coach. I was so sick 🤢 of hearing gonna take hard work gonna watch film 🎥 and get back after it
It was hard to watch honestly! - C5
You ran off malzahn...and he was 1 of the few coaches that gave saban fits
lol I ran him off? I didn't even start doing a podcast until Brian Harsin was hired - C5
C5 good show
Thank you sir! - C5
I’m not a harsin fan at all but I have to agree that those anonymous quotes by sec coaches are bush league. I’m not sure I buy it. Anyone can write an article and say an anonymous coach said……. I think they probably just make that crap up. I may be wrong but that’s my opinion.
They do the anonymous coach portion of the article every single year. It's one of the things that subscribers like the most. Unless they just make it up every single year - C5
@@AuburnDaily_yeah I hear you. Ever since I was a young kid every year on the car ride to the beach every summer we would get that magazine and I would read it from cover to cover. Even as a kid I had my doubts about the anonymous coaches comments section. I just thought most of it was to sale magazines. You’re right about it being popular with readers but I have my doubts if real coaches are making anonymous statements to a magazine. I found a lot of the anonymous coaches statements as entertaining but I have my doubts as them to be authentic. I can’t imagine Kirby smart talking smack to the magazine and then saying I want this to be anonymous. I’m not co-signing it. Maybe I’m wrong but I’ve always felt like the writers just make that stuff up. Why not? Nobody can prove or disprove it. It sales magazines.
I remember the Barfield era. Harsin was much worse than Barfield. I never thought I would say that an Auburn HC was worse than Barfield. Harsin reset the bar for ineptness. I hope we NEVER have an HC like him. Barfield was much better than Harsin.
Barfield is the only person that was happy with the Harsin tenure LOL - C5
@@AuburnDaily_ I actually laughed out loud when I read your comment 🤣 😂
Harsin came here and did NOT DO HIS JOB!!!! He is a terrible coach and a loser. Idk why we ever hired him!! He destroyed our program Charlie. Coach Freeze is working his ass off to make us a true SEC program again. War Damn Eagle!!!!!
He put us way behind the 8 ball - C5
@@AuburnDaily_ sure did C5.
great show..glad harsin is gone. war eagle...
100%! - C5
auburn will never be a good football team.. with hugh John freeze as coach.. its the same in Any language
Proud of how horrible Harsin was never liked the hire but lead us to Freeze so i thank him WAR EAGLE
This is a great outlook on things. Without Harsin's epic failure we may not get Freeze - C5
Harsin needs to stick to racing…. He’s not a coach..
Racing or mirror flexing - C5
Also Coach Freeze has said several times publicly that when he got to Auburn the roster was nowhere near where it should be or where he thought it would be. So as far as I’m concerned BH can kiss my Eagle’s beak!
Ayoooo! I love it - C5
Bryan Harsin was a joke really poor of a coach.
Well said - C5
