I remove the hopper screen after all the dirty water is gone, that helps to keep the gun filter from getting crap from when you clean the side walls of the hopper, than I take the hopper out of the machine and rinse it out good one last time before I run another clean batch of water through the line, than I move to clean the gun
OUTSTANDING video! You are an air assisted airless sprayer, and obvious you must have used it without air assisted. How does it perform without the air?
I actually use it more straight airless. Unless I have a really big job with lots of cabinets, airless is way more portable and I can get x06 reversible tips too
nice video! it would be cool to see people actually use these. i've been looking for a deal on a gun like what you have to use on my titan. does it spray much nicer when you put the air on it?
It’s an air assist gun. I guess you could use it full airless but that’s not really how it works. It’s rated at max 1500 psi which might atomize done coatings enough.
@@michaelhess5764 yes I know it is. I was debating on adding a gun like this along with air to my ed655. I was curious if its worth it or not. Is the finish that much better? Thank you sorry for not being clearer
I use Wagner AAA gun with my ED655. I was Spraying Envirolak 300 with that and my Titan HVLP. I could get finer atomize with the AAA gun and go twice as fast as HVLP.
@@michaelhess5764 doesn’t the paint squirt out the hole or do you have it capped? I also never use prime hose on my piston pumps but this diaphragm is new to me
@@MIKEC2000as long as you leave the prime valve alone and don’t turn it, no paint will come out of the port. I’m sure there is a cap that can go on too.
Please show detail video on the use od ed655 i have trouble painting with it !

@@derekmoen5382 yes its worth it and you don't need a large compressor since you don't need much pressure.
Do you have to thin the Envirolak in that machine?
No, never. It’s airless, so using about 2400 psi, but with air-assisted gun with the compressor like the video, running just less than 1000psi.
@@michaelhess5764 amazing!
Where is your prime hose?
I took it off. It’s not necessary when running 50’ or less of line. Just something else to clean.
