  • THIS IS A RX-PRO GUN. NOT A RX 90 AS I VERBO IN THE VIDEO. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ 😬
Filters used was a Lemmer L032-101
In this video I am demonstrating How and when to change the filters in your gun and how to take apart a RX- PRO gun.
Spitting may occur or improper running of the material to your gun and machine, are reason to check the filters in your gun and machine. Some gauge it on volume sprayed which is another great way to keep track. Or if you have a distils face on your machine, some may track volume sprayed.
I like to check the filters in my gun from project to project, if is a grand scale project then every couple weeks. Or if I have notable signs that they need to be changed.
ALSO - - - There is another filter in the body of the machine that I did not demonstrate in this video.
    Same rules apply.

Hey sir i have a question... Im spraying cabinet doors right now and im using emerald urathane. I have a white filter in my rx 80 gun but once my finish is dry, when i feel the doors i can feel like...little tiny tiny specs of debri that have dried in the finish... Im talking tiny little shits once the door is dry. If i upgraded to say the yellow mesh will that filter that shit out.. Ive even strained the gallons and i still get them... Theyre not dust nibs but like super small pieace of gunk

Hey There! That could possibly do the trick yes.
But there are a few variables that could possibly make that happen. Using one machine for a variety of products could be one. Filter size could also be another. But its really dependent on what exactly is happening, as painting troubleshooting really is a game of process of elimination..
First Id Try by cleaning out the machine right good. with the right solution depending on what the machine is used mostly for. Clean it with the filters out.
Changing all filters to new. Strain paint and test on a surface before hand.
If its still happening even after straining the paint I feel like it could be loose debris from inside the machine that may be getting caught in the paint. The gun and manifold filter should catch that but like I said there so many variables that could be making that happen. See how that goes and if you ever need more help please reach out again or touch base with me on Instagram @topline_psc
Hope this helps a bit though!
      Cheers
      Danny

Are they the cleanable filters. These are not cleanable. They are meant to be tossed.
I don’t use the reusables. Also how much do you spray if they last that long lol lol. We r spraying mansions 90% of the time. Running through a lot of paint.

Dude.... Not sure what was the main point of the video other than properly tightening the Titan gun down, but your gun filter should Never end up looking like that! What on earth have you been doing? Spraying till nothing comes out? Every 3-4 cleanings you need to be rinsing put that filter and manifold filter at a minimum. You throw it out if it gets ruined with a crap load of holes... Not from completely neglecting it when cleaning. Get a nice Graco contractor pc gun if you don't feel like taking it apart with that ridiculous tool.

No problem. Next time don't be so quick about throwing out the filter either. They are made of durable plastic and a metal mesh, you would be shocked how easily they clean up like brand new for years. If done regularly it only takes a few seconds, the one you threw out probably just needed about two minutes under running very hot water and gentle brushing with a wire brush to loosen the caked on paint. Unless you see physical damage there's zero reason to toss it out.

These ones are not meant to be cleaned like some of titan and gracos filters. They are to be tossed. And that filters was just after a few days of spraying , as that machine is my only latex machine it sees a lot of paint and work.
I opt out of cleaning the filters as I have almost 10 machines.
Also the point of the video was for multiple questions that originally was intended for my Instagram audience. I just popped this video up in case someone cared.
