Doesn't get any cooler. Dear Bucky, 73 years old here and enjoying it like a kid. Went on playing till he was 92. Sadly passed away in 2020 at the age of 94.
Я гогласен с тобой, что господин Pizzarelli великий гитарист!
I agree with you that Mr. Pizzarelli is a great guitar player!
I spent a whole day with John at a NAJE conference back around 92. We bonded over a love of music and airplanes and he had a great view of the airport and we named off every kind of plane coming in. No conversation was complete without a mention of Bucky. He absolutely loved playing with Bucky. It was a great day. Miss ya John. Great to see this.
these guys show respect in everything they do. its beautiful. thanks.
Bucky , Ray Starling and Chasey Dean back in the late 50's at the pink elephant in Brighten beach on Monday nights .. that's where i would nurse a beer and listen him and many upcoming stars and i was only about 20 yrs old playing club dates but loving what they were doing . bobby g...
Nothing but positive things to say about these '4 Of A Kind Kings'. True masters relying on raw dynamics. Every note played in modern music often sounds like it's played at the same volume, especially on guitar. But here's a latter era Pizarreli commanding his 7 string like it's just an extension of his body; you'd swear he'd feel light as a feather just playing it. He has more emotion improvising in a chair than a rocker in his twenties just tapping and sweeping....(I've loved that stuff since having a passion for music and when done right - I still will, but it ain't got nothing on this!) R.I.P. Bucky! And that sax player has as much wind in him as he did in his youth, I love how he appears to really love his and everyone elses work. That bassist sure knows how to comp. His singing could be less challenging if he'd chose not to play bass, and yet look at him go! The pianist may as well be dancing on the inside. I mean he commands the piano like a choreographed ballroom of swing dancers.
That's some comment. Informed, informative and a joy to read. To coin a song title, Who could ask for anything more? Thanks, JordonJackson6151.
Wow, there is nothing like coming across a recording of Scott Hamilton that I haven't seen or heard.
Scott is so dependable and great!
Bunch always manages the swing of the thing
Found this following Scott. Opening number just great, looking forward to the rest when I have time. Bucky and guys just great. Try to catch John and Jessica on the PBS show, Radio Delux, when I can. Best to all.
Its a performance over 49 minutes. And I'd much rather spend that much time on this than go to a live show while Covid-19 is as indeiscrimenate as ever. Totally worth it. Saw the whole thing. I feel enlightened.
Four pros doing what they do. Beauty is a matter of fact for them. No fuss.

Four pros doing what they do. Beauty is a matter of fact for them. No fuss. and your words.
00:00 Robin's Nest
11:11 Cottontail
20:00 ?
24:00 ? but sounds like a Slam Stewart tune
30:10 Skylark
35:00 Cherokee
3rd tune is called "All Too Soon".
4th tune is called "My Problem Is You".
PS: First tune is actually spelled with 2 b's and the apostrophe comes after the "s" (Robbins' Nest, written for the Fred Robbins radio show on 1010 WINS in New York in the 1940's)....
You may want to edit/update your listing accordingly. Tx.
Magnifique trio avec un Scott Hamilton en grande forme.
Four fabulous musicians ! Bravo !
Masters! It's a privilege to listen.
Great playing all around! Loved the bass scat. Why is this music not number one? Cool cats!
Ahh such a treat.... The Masters!
Just beautiful!...it reminds me of those Summer evenings sitting on my deck, beer on hand, looking at the Bay Area bridges and The City, while listening to my favorite radio show: Dinner Jazz !
Super lightly swinging jazz. Masters in action😎
Absolutely SUPURB!
I like hearing the old guys swing.

Christian Pastor Thanks!!
M Danton Thank you!
Right. This is "Robin's Nest".
It was cued up to 'Cottontail' when CZcams sent this to me, as if to say "share with John on Facebook" (just did). Thanks NohJackson for asking about the playlist.
👍👍
I'm studying the recordings of the great pianist John Bunch. It turns out that he fought during the Second World War ... My father was also at the front and they are completely the same age, the difference is only three months. Were in the same coalition... John also has an album from the war years...
cam a dx🎥😎
The name "Robins nest" is correct.
The name is Robbin’s Nest, named after Freddy Robbins the Disk Jockey
Why audio and video don't match?
anyone know the name of the first tune they play?
+Frank F It's called Robbin's Nest by Sir Charles Thompson
+JPCguitar Thanks!

Love it
Want to get happy? Listen to this. I defy you not to smile. Double dare you.
It was cued up (to my favorite numbers on a digital clock) at the 11:11 mark. That's Cottontail. But you knew that.
Sounds great but audio and video clearly not synced.
Falta de sincronização entre imagem e som. Uma pena !!!!!😑😠💔
