When I was in college at the University of Texas at Austin, Michael Martin Murphy came to perform....I was sitting on the front row and he was 10 ft away singing this song.....he has the most beautiful voice and I've never forgot the words.....so powerful.
He is a wonderful cowboy poet. He has so many good songs. I also respect him for helping keep our traditional songs alive in the western culture.
Wildfire and Carolina in the Pines will get your heart pumping
His song "Wildfire" is a must listen (if you don't already know it). Beautiful and heartbreaking.

Very Poignant Song! I ran across a piece of paper with sentiments of a partner had written to me and it really made me think what/where did things go wrong! It's been kind of a hard day today-but hopefully maybe someone will come along!Anyway this is a very Beautiful Song in it's own right and the sentiment is so true that Love is so hard to find in this world!
May I suggest a couple of songs for your consideration? "Late For the Sky" and "In the Shape of a Heart" are two Jackson Browne songs that speak powerfully to issues of the heart. I love to watch the two of you interact with one another. The love you have for each other is very beautiful. Keep it going!!!
