Re-watched this cheapie Monogram B for Marjorie Beebe---what a natural comedian whose style hasnt dated in over 90 yrs. Rather odd looking gal, Marg bears a curious resemblance to Martha Raye and is perhaps just as funny as hell. On the other side, it's incredible that Noel Francis, with a doughy mug like that, was ever a Ziegfeld Girl before entering movies . I have a sneaky suspicion that much of the fire footage was lifted from The Fire Patrol (1924) also by Chadwick Productions.
This must have been terrifying for audiences with memories of the Triangle Fire (1911) 🔥💀
