I've been loving these custom order episodes, I finished school an hour ago and have been busying myself with homework so its refreshing to see you post a video for me to just sit and watch, and sometimes I even sew along with the video.
Hey Natalia, Just wanted to thank you for making these videos as they are seriously inspiring people like me. I know it takes lot of patience to sort of start with patterns, cut them, sew them and kinda reach till the final finish. I literally start watching your videos when the process takes too long and I kinda start loosing it. Your videos literally inspire me to work calmly & effectively. Lots of love from india.
The reason why it might not feel like it’s strong enough is, because you usually take 4 to 5 threads for overlocking and sewing two pieces together. 3 threads usually are just for overlocking the edge and not for connecting two pieces.
Yea I know, my other one is a 4-thread! Just haven’t been able to find a place to get it serviced so I’ve had to do with this one. I usually reinforce it with a straight stitch if I feel like its not sturdy enough!
I really love you and just found you and fell in love with what you do. I hope you could teach us how to make basic patterns, I would love to see it. I wish I could do what you do but unfortunately my circumstances won't allow me to. I'd love to learn from you as well
I’m 23 years old and have always wanted to be a fashion designer. Is it too late? I’m about to graduate university 😓 Edit: thanks so much for the encouragement guys!!😭❤️💕 It’s so inspiring to see many of you chasing your dreams as well!! ❤️ best of luck to all of us 🥂
That’s awesome. I was curious about one thing. For your regular orders, the collections you make. How do you grade your patterns? You sell different sizes right?
Another point about the ruffles you may have forgot to mention is that if you used gathered ruffles in this dress it also stop stretchability at the seams.
Have you ever heard about the eloflex thread by coats and Clark. It’s suppose to be specifically for knits and still sew a straight seam. I purchased it my self. I’m just waiting for it to come in the mail and try it out. I use a lot knit fabrics when making clothes for my girls to be around the house. Love you channel by the way 🥰
Hi I also love to sew and I’m only 12. If you have any tips and tricks please let me know. Also i think that ur sooooo talented and ur also soo inspiring
i just found your channel,am inspired to start a brand, but unlike you i really have a deep fear for knits or any stretch fabrics, working on it though, and one day i hope to never make custom orders again for as long as i live 😂😂😂,been binge watching your videos ❤ from Lesotho 🇱🇸 🇱🇸 🇱🇸

Which device and / program do you use for your digital sketches?
She should put that dress on her shop
U look so beautiful!!

U r so inspiring me
God bless you!!
Yes yes!😍😘
Hello
How can I get in touch with you?
Why not try to use small zigzag stitch or triple straight stitch, OR stretch stitch? Overlock stitch is such a weak stitch in the long run

I thought it was just me with the fear of knits 😂 I strictly sew with non stretch fabrics
@@nicolefahy4010 you are not alone, knits are not for the faint of hearts😂😂😂😂😂it takes a level of bravery am yet to hone.
I love your videos
What serger o you use?
Juki MO-623
If I don't have a serger at home what else can I do to sew up the knit fabric? BTW THANK YOU FOR THIS😭✨
You can still use a normal sewing machine
@@Borhansdaughter what kind of stitch do you think would be suitable for it? 🤗
You can use a zig zag stitch to give a stronger seam if you don’t have a serger!
@@victoriamarshall4780 thanks for the info 💕
