  • A micropipettor is only as accurate as the person using it. Poor technique leads to poor results.

    is the first and second stop applicable for air displacement pipette only? We used positive displacement today and it appears that it doesn't have first and second stop.

      Yes. In positive displacement pipettes, the piston makes direct contact with the liquid being measured, so there is no "extra air" to blow out.
