The actual top end would vary from bike to bike; and that's before even adding the rider to the equation. I don;t concern myself with it however because there are very few places top safely go "FULL THROTTLE" in the part of the world I live in. The Yamaha R3 is a blast to ride, and quick to accelerate at higher rpm's. I'm also self aware that 600-1000cc bike are too much for me to safely ride; therefore I'm on the perfect bike for my skill level.

Broo i think you should blip the throttle as you slow down and downshift. Downshifting like that may have some bad effect on gears.

Rev matching if you can do it right is better for the gears
Is R3 ok for highway use? Will it be too stressful for the engine? Say 75mph for 30 miles straight 5 days a week?
It’s absolutely fine! The R3 can chill at 80 mph no problem.
