I'm also Brunel Alumni and I'm also working under Imperial Healthcare NHS but at CXH as an HCA. My career plans have changed a lot and I really want to get into physiotherapy. Considering going back to Brunel for their masters programme - what a coincidence I came across these videos? Haha

As a physical therapy student in Greece we basically do nothing.
We've been 3 times in the hospital, for the cardiorespiratory part of our clinics,out of the 14 times planned , because of the corona virus and we only got to practice compretions on one patient. :/ (better than no patient).

What year you in at uni i am first year physiotherapy
Because I want to be a physio for a sports team and be pitch side during games and training is it better to do a physiotherapy or sports therapy bachelors and do they teach how to treat cuts on physiotherapy courses
Both are excellent for pitch side work! We don't learn how to treat cuts on physiotherapy courses but you can always take courses outside of university :)

When you do physiotherapy at university can you work for a sports team or is that a different course ??
You can work for a sports team, at clinics and hospital settings with this physiotherapy degree :)

@@jameskwokphysio Yea 100% they get really deep and serious when talking about a topic. But man, Joe sometimes blurts out something really random and it honestly cracks me the f up hahaha. Anyways been binging all ur videos, and keep up the good work 👍 ur an inspiration to my friends and I who just started watching u ( we still 1st Year physio students in NZ) We never really see a Physiotherapist/ vlogger in youtube. Your friend in scrubs? Do physios wear scrubs too?
She was working in ITU on a COVID ward, you wouldn’t usually wear scrubs as a physio.
But in india we as students are wearing scrubs and white coat without an issue 👍
