I found this interview after watching them on The Tamron Hall Show. Prior to that, I was completely unaware of this couple. Love has no color and when love finds you, hold onto it. I am happy for them and I wish them only love, joy and a lifetime of happiness with each other.

It would have been possible to raise those delicate subjects with much more graciousness and professionalism. The interviewers look like they're about to slit their wrists. Also, they're so rude! I'm from Scotland, so maybe that's their culture but I'm pro Martha Louise and Durek. Being a Reiki healer myself, they are a breath of fresh air, living their truth.
They arent rude. I dont know what you mean here. Firstly, they had to interview them in English. English is not the interviewers first language. Secondly, they were only asking them relevant questions that has been talked about, and they deserve critisism. I’m not sure you know the whole story here..
This interview was 5 years ago, but their wedding this weekend was a total joke. She is part of the royal family and the royal family has a unique position in society and an implicit contract exists between the monarchy and the people. This contract means that the royal family receives privileges and public support (people’s tax money has been going to her privileged upbringing). In return, transparency and accessibility to the public is expected. Boycotts, attempts at censorship and blackmail ase they have been doing are a threat to freedom of expression. It breaks the social contract by limiting access to information about royals.
They want to reap the benefits of being public when it benefits them financially, but doesnt take the disadvantages - such as dealing with critical questions from the press. Then they boycott the Norwegian press and sell the wedding to a streaming company and an English tabloid magazine whoch prevented the Norwegian people (those who were interested) from seeing a single glimpse from the wedding. They used sheets to hide themselves….because of greed? The fact that the Norwegian people have used their tax money to provide for her privileged upbringing has clearly been forgotten...or maybe she doesnt care? It just goes to show that it is okay to cooperate with the media as long as there is big money to be made…
They use the media when it suits them, when there is something to sell, and they seem to expect the press to be obedient lackeys who only cover them when they want to promote something and earn money from it. That is not the role of the press. These two depend on media coverage in order to make a living from their "business", and it's not like what the press writes comes completely out of the blue. The role of the press in a democratic society is to cover matters of public interest, including matters concerning the royal family. The fact that she hides from the Norwegian people behind sheets at the wedding because she has sold it to the foreign press, says it all.
Making threats of boycott if there are any critical issues that come up, such as her repeatedly breaking the deal with her own father about using her title for commercial matters and controversial statements from her husband are of interest to the public, and therefore the press writes about it. He has called the Norwegian people racist when it has absolutely zero to do with his skin color but what HE has said that people have reacted to.
Its double standard to enjoy public attention and support when it suits them and at the same time try to control or limit media coverage when critical questions are made or they do not want attention. Either they are public figures, or not.

I randomly clicked on this video and watched while thinking wow these reporters are not joking, they repeatedly ask the same kind of questions about how people hate them and not even once did they crack a laugh or smile with Märtha and Durek. I thought they were very intruding. So much negativity from the reporters in this interview apart from the last 3 minutes and then I saw the comments....wow.
Her maintenance income comes from the Norwegian taxpayer, who see her fashionable LA, California, fling for what it is.
