From a previous video you used a simple phrase to help with what is needed in your life, "Does this spark joy?" All of your content sparks joy. I am consistently smiling and in a better mood after watching your content. Thank you for allowing us to experience this with you.
I was shocked by your comment early on about how you found the scene so beautiful 'It was as if you weren't in Japan.' Coming from someone who's never been to the country I find that to be quite funny, as I found the entire scene gorgeous. It's illuminating to see how others view their own countries.

It brought a smile to my face when you said in the end that you want so bad to live in that tiny mobile because I could already imagine you towing it using your bamboo bike! 😅 I don't know how can it be possible but I could imagine you'll make it work!😄
Thanks again, Aki, for another relaxing and interesting video.🌻🌈

So I have decided the bus conversion is the best option for me. I like the idea of a Toyota Coaster and then decking her out with the basics that I need. I know me and my dog are going to be very happy. Thank you for sharing your amazing experience.

I felt that I wouldn't be so comfortable sleeping in that room cause I enjoy more natural light spaces, but it surprised me how it looked the next day! 😅 I like how they made the window from the bottom to the middle, so it givesbu the opportunity to see if any animal is hoing there. Normal windows are just in the middle of the wall, but this one 👌. Niiiiiice~

Hi, Aki, thank you for sharing! I love especially the view 'like a picture'. The architect really has a sense for details. I’ve been in tiny houses in Finland long before they get popular to live in. They were used as summer cottages and sometimes handmade. Very simple. No bathroom. Outdoor toilet. Bath in the lake. But: a wooden Sauna some steps away. Water from a source in the wood. Oil lamps. Compared with yours, yours is a fairy tale, especially the breakfast…for your lovely tea ceremony outside I’d recommend an isolation mat, I’ve a very small foldable, which I take with me everywhere. By the way: in summer time I preferred my tent, where mosquitos couldn’t come inside… Enjoy your snowy winter, we almost had none. Love from Germany, Monika❣

For the young pillows or cushions on the floor are fine. However, I’m 64 with 2 knee replacements from laying tile & brick for 15 years. I may be able to fall down, but getting up is another story. Most (but not all) people who have metal knees can actually kneel. So for older minimalists chairs are better.

Question: how will you live in a super simplified home like that if you have a family with kids? I always wonder about that. It's true lots of us have too much and too many choices most of the time but, even pared down and simplified, don't kids need more so they understand what is out there, also to try new things and get exposed? I wonder if that tiny house is Snow Peak's version of America's "glamping"(glamorous camping) because the bathroom facilities are detached. I could see a community composed of these tiny houses as a solution to expensive housing. Just have to build other common areas like shared kitchen facilities and a small park or recreation area.
On another note, I love my Snow Peak titanium spork(spoon/fork), always have it for travel and sometimes even use it at home for instant ramen. I'll soon be upgrading to Snow Peak's separate titanium spoon and fork set though for ease of use. Good value for a high quality product that I actually trust to be food-safe.
