That doesn't really mean anything. I don't like HipHop but I always find myself tapping my hands and my feet to the beat. But I think that's more anxiety or apprehension because I do that when there's no music playing, like sitting in a doctor's waiting room or something. I just feel a beat or rhythm in my head and hands and feet naturally as I AM a musician who experiences a lot of anxiety. That could be more or less what it is as opposed to actually liking the song. Just saying.

Buddy, Autotune is not used to help people sing better, its to create the vibe of the song. If you're making an Angelic sounding song, you would use Autotune to perfect every bit of your voice. If you were making a Techno Rock or Pop song, you would use Autotune to change how you sound. If you want pure non autotuned music, go listen to metal. All of that is actually the vocalist, doing those screams and growls. No Machine needed.
Depends on how you use autotune. Good autotune goes unnoticed while the bad kind is OBVIOUS.

Omg, that would be so depressing. There's only one era that changed music (for the better, that is). That would be everything from the 70s and before. That includes going back centuries. Everything changed for the worst from the mid 80s to now. But especially now so much to where even I would take the 80s and 90s back in a heartbeat.
I mean, I agree with you that these songs are (probably) crap (I haven't watched the video but I have listened to enough pop-against my will, mind you-to not want to hear this) but I think it's even scarier to think that A.I "music" will "change music forever" and it won't be humans who make it anymore. That's one of the reasons why I'm putting off having kids for now.

They won't, though. In fact, there hasn't been anything that massively changed music since maybe the '70s. There have been a few classics from the '80s and '90s, but nothing later than that, because it's all basically the same. There's been no major shift in style like you used to get every 3 years before, say, 1995.

I honestly hate watching people who don’t listen to rap talk about it because they never understand the lyrics or what’s going on. Understandable though. A lot of culture and art requires background knowledge and time spent in it to understand the references and metaphors, etc. But it’s usually kind of annoying to watch someone not familiar with that art form try to analyze it

Yeah I have been reconnecting with my European roots too and am starting to enjoy classical music more. I want to have children so I can turn them into musicians, artists and composers who can continue on the classical European musical tradition on to the 21st century. Assuming that A.I doesn't make all the music and art in the near future and making something truly original becomes nigh impossible. In which case I am never having kids.
