+Sophie Menya - yes certainly, the most beautiful and the most meaningful as well. The lyrics are awsome: it's a song telling about spiritual awakening and growing self-consciousness, some very unusual topics at Eurovision where love between 2 people or peace are the common subjects described superficially. Only for that, this song deserved much better. No one actually gives importance to the words... but a song is also a STORY. However, I think it's the language that forbad everyone who doesn't understand Italian to enjoy this piece of music fully. I think that all songs that are not in English should be translated in that language on a dashboard at the side of the stage so that anyone can understand the meaning. This way, more songs may be performed in some other languages: artists would dare to do it more often. Some languages as Spanish, French, Italian and a few others sound to ears very beautifully when being well written.

As an American stationed in Sicily for a short period of time in early 2016 I have to say this was my favorite song I heard over there. I am not usually one for songs outside of my comfort zone (American Rap and country) but this hit the spot perfectly.... just a beautiful song, and a beautiful country. I miss both :(

I don't care about the final scores at all, and according to me Italy and Serbia are the two most successful countries in the contest. Songs from Italy are always so moving; they grow on you as you listen more and more, and this one is no exception. Good job once again. A potential winner for me.

This is exactly what I felt when I watched this the first time. I am Italian but I did not know her. When Mahmood represented Italy at Eurovision I got really interested in Eurovision so I watched all the entries (from 2011) of Italy before Mahmood. When I got to 2016 I was completely stunned by the performance of this song. When I got to know that she was 16th I could not believe it. The performance was amazing, the voice is amazing, the song is amazing and the lyrics have a good message. Francesca is an incredible artist and I love her music but unfortunately she is very underrated here in Italy so I am happy to see that some foreigners appreciate her music

***** Pensa che in Germania l'anno scorso aveva vinto Andreas Kümmert (che aveva vinto TVO Germany, meritatamente) la preselezione che fanno in Germania per mandare la loro canzone all'ESC. Lui tranquillo, ha detto che non avrebbe partecipato all'ESC per motivi personali e che avrebbe ceduto il suo posto alla seconda arrivata Anne Sophie, che poi non ha nemmeno preso un punto. Ti puoi immaginare come erano incacchiati i tedeschi che lo avevano votato. Notabene, Selezione alla quali partecipi solo al fine di qualificarti per l'ESC, dqe anche io spero che la RAI decida come Kümmert.

A fantastic song and performer, it would have done better if it participated in the semi-finals. By the time the big night rolls around many people have already decided and don't pay that much attention to the straight-to-final songs. And it's a damn shame!
