- Bobby Fischer valued piece play above all else. In this game his pawn structure is terrible, but his pieces are great. Bobby Fischer's opponent was former world champion Max Euwe. Bobby Fischer uses an innovation he had prepared to deliver a knockout blow. For Fischer, it was pieces over pawns!

Hence Fischer being is goat. He probably had this winning endgame on his board in his home long before this game was actually played. So deep and thorough was his opening prep.
No silliness, self-referencing, puns, or stock videos/photos. Thank you.
That bishop pin idea is one of may favorite things to see. So good.
Yes You are right.Pins are powerful motivs in chess
Best chess channel!! Thanks!
Thank you.
A for effort and trailing very close and great quality, but the best chess channel I think are chess engine games with calming music for me. Would be nice if he did some chess engine game analysis and be unique in that way.
I remember watching another game by Bobby. Sometimes the pawns are in the way of full attack...
Loved the Bishop pin! I can watch this channel all day!
Useful analysis. Thanks for all these great videos on Fischer's games!
Fischer and Morphy believed in piece activity above all else
I also believe in that, but that faith and belief is not enough 😂
He was a true legend. I was watching this analysis in hurry. I'll watch it again in the evening.
I just have done it consecutively... . 😏 😎
Good vid. Thanks for not going way off into what ifs
Great video! One suggestion, tell your audience to pause the video to look for the brilliant moves before revealing the brilliant move.
Bobby Fischer, the first human Stockfish.
Beautifully said and completely true
I don't think people even understand how accurate this comment is. Nobody, before or after him, plays like this.

..pinning & winning ++
Excellent.
Thanks for the analysis. Allow me a small contradiction. You say: A lead in development is powerful even in an endgame. I mean: Especially in an endgame.
The bishop sacrifice!!
Excelent game by Fischer. Regarding your video title -> At the same time it was a PAWN that won the game!
🙂
He plays like Stockfish.
Max Erber? Max Euwe ,yes.
Euwe = Erber? Who knew?
Er-Ver
Fischer didn't care about pawns? It was a promoted pawn which won the game!
Still... anyways... He didn't care: allowing them be eaten… .
P.S.: Technically, no pawn had promoted in this match...that was just an obvious assumption. 😇
ur sound is weird
