I truly believe the Grizzlies are going to be careful and bet on going all in next season when we can move on without financial loss from Z, Aldama and Jake.
Need guys that can shoot the three to spread the floor for Ja Morant! Look at how much spacing Anthony Edwards has! The dude has the entire court wide open, it helps that he has a mid mid range shot, but it’s also because KAT, Conley, McDaniel and others have a 3 point shot. Kennard is someone we should keep, even over smart. Now, maybe we can get him to lower his salary a bit? But we need that

Honestly it’s no thought to trade smart he’s better than all them other guys and not only that Vince and GG both are still unproven they not reliable at all still young we need vets I’ll say trade Kennerd for thybulle
I don’t get how smart and Luke didn’t get traded instead of Stevo? Please be honest, are you lightly to win with Stevo, Smart or Luke? And who could you rely on truly to be on court? BTW we’re not getting any of those centers in the draft. We just dreaming if we think we are. Now you try and trade for Brook Lopes for smart? We should’ve traded smart instead of Steve. Crazy crazy crazy. Memphis isn’t winning any chip. They will have to start to trade some core players.
Definitely got to trade one of those guys. I like Smart. But Bane at the 3 is a horrible idea. Bane needs to be the 2 guard.

so I’d trade smart and Williams to the bucks for brook Lopez and next years unprotected first because I’m thinking they are gonna fall back hard being so old. Also draft Edey to replace adams.
Only way you can keep both is getting Sarr or Clingan. Also have to trade Ziaire and Konchar.
hate the idea of smart being our 2 and bane our 3 its just not going to work. i know hes an elite defender but bane already has short arms u cant expect him to guard 3's he will get cooked. either trade smart with the emergence of gg and vince or move him to the backup pg. personally i think trading him is the better move he makes to much money.. find a way to sign luke on a multi deal for a little cheaper. we NEED his shooting. if not call brooklyn offer smart,kennard,,clarke and however many picks it takes(including this years) for mikal and claxton.(S&T)

Smart has not had a chance to show himself. The more shuffling we do the more we will need time to get used to new people.

Remember when Smart was throwing lobs to Ja and getting wide open threes from Jaren? He is a perfect fit for the team, Its actually so unfair that Ja and Smart on the same team lol but I love it as a Grizz fan
I'm sure smart will have plenty of chances to prove his worth. Unfortunately, he'll be injured most of the time we need him.

Grizzlies also need to try and sign Claxton when he hits free agency. Save the draft pick to trade for and go try to get another big to come off the bench.
Those two are trash! Why would we do that since neither is a knock down shooter?

Just because you have been fortunate enough to play on teams with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, AL Horford, Terry Rozier, and Kyrie Irving while also being fortunate enough to be coached by the likes of Brad Stevens, Ime Udoka, and Joe Muzzla doesn't mean that you are more valuable to an NBA team than Dillon Brooks is and Marcus Smart is not more valuable to an NBA team than Dillon Brooks currently is. Marcus Smart needs to be traded for either a veteran stretch 4 or 5 who has size with playoff experience. If you have to throw in the pick and/or Kennard to close the deal then so be it. This will not happen however because Zach Kleiman is not a real NBA GM....and that's a shame.

Smart is a great perimeter defender just like Dillon and can handle the ball unlike Dillon.
Smart not getting moved unless it’s for Mikal Bridges.
We have a number of other avenues to get a starting center.
