You’ve done a lot of work to create and publish both video and ebook. Tremendous information. Extremely generous. I really appreciate it!

I always wondered what that strange scart like socket did under the dashboard, this is a great YT channel with huge amounts of info about OBD2 👍

Good stuff. Hard to find this info anywhere else. Got my OBD reader yesterday and looking forward to learning more. Would love to see more videos on troubleshooting and DIY on fixing codes.

Would this be able to tell you why the dashboard says collision prevention assist plus inoperative

Quick question: I had a fault code for camshaft sensor (P0340) on my Chevrolet Cruze and I clicked erase. The MIL light didn't come back on, does that mean there is no issue anymore or does it mean the issue is there and I just can't see it because I erased the fault code without fixing anything?

No if you erased the code and drive the car issue isnt there right now if MIL is off

@@iamcarhacker even if I didn't do anything with the sensor to solve the issue, the issue is still gone by just erasing the code?

@@manavsingh7378 there are moments where, let's say, the camshaft sensor was malfunctioning and then it triggered the code. But after you erased the code, if the code didn't show up again, it means that the scenario that caused the code to be triggered didn't happen again. So while it doesn't necessarily mean the car is perfect (it could or could not be) it definitely means that what triggered the code before did not happen again, otherwise the code would come up again. I hope I could make myself understandable
