- Equestrian the Game has seen a rough few days: moderators and ambassadors have been fired, people have been banned, the devs threatened, the discord has been shut down and nothing seems to be going right for ETG. This video aims to follow what happened and to see if they could have fixed this in some way.

This is why I LOVE the WolfQuest devs! These people are SO DEDICATED to the game, they read every comment and are constantly fixing things. They are listening what the community wants. And that's what made an absolutely GORGEOUS game in the end that is still being updated and bettered after almost 10 years
I was just thinking this! Imo, WolfQuest is king in the gaming community and to this day, I have never, ever seen its equal. Here's hoping future games follow their example.

@@Horselover01948 I know, right? I literally cant wait for the saga to continue. They are going for completing the full-circle story by next year I think 🤔 but even if you played the game through once, there is so much more to discover in the game. You can have a nap with your pups IN your den (you can enter them now). Plus, there now are like 20 dens per map, not only 3. And you have to move dens from time to time,when fleas get worse. But dont worry, the pups can keep up quite well. You do not have to carry them all the way. The maps are super big (7 times bigger than the old ones) and you can even battle with whole other packs.
The best thing is: They are not just random wolves who just stand around, waiting for you to interact with them anymore.
They often come in groups, they are roaming around freely, like you, and bite and defend their territories fiercely. And they friggin CHASE you out of their territory! They can literally FOLLOW you or escort you out. Or surprise you in your sleep 😅 Its hard to fight or kill them, but its so fun to snag and conquer their territories from right under their noses, hahah!
Even more in multiplayer! The stranger packs are much bigger there.

I noticed your name was white out before the server goes down and noticed that you left without a goodbye, so I did feel like something was goin' to go down, still can't believe what have happened though but I was just a bystander so didn't know much anyway, glad that Rattle gave me some disclosure so that I can know what *really* happened now, and not just only the information that the server had drama

I saw it coming man, I really did. This is why I am so glad I never invested my time or money into this game. As soon as I saw the disabled comments on Instagram and read their whack ass description, I knew something bad had happened and I was seriously infuriated by they way they stripped players of their voices and I have never even played nor downloaded the game! Thank you for spreading awareness on this, because people like me would have been left still very confused.
Same. I've been involved in one too many organizations and have seen how they "work." Best to just wait for a full game release before investing any money into it. Even then, it's a risk.
So many countries missed out on the “best” of the game, we missed 3 season passes. This is such a horrible situation, for the poor moderators and ambassadors. I had the game for a week and deleted it because I just couldn’t deal with the lack of content that was there in the beginning. So glad you made a video. I saw the discord server becoming “chaotic” and rightly so. I left a few days ago, I can’t imagine a company not open to constructive criticism or honest feedback. Disappointing.
yeah litteraly its just blank game all courses a repeated horse moods or character thingies do nothing just looks fancy even main thing jumping don't work u can put on red jump icon and still jump successfully
I personally APK'd the game to play it early, as I saw from even the first Season Pass that we'd miss out on it. And it all went downhill from the first update I joined into. It's quite sad, really.
It’s good to see a horse game CZcamsr! This genre is quite neglected, and it’s awesome to see someone actually give an honest opinion on games rather than just giving them useless points because “it’s the best we’ve got”

This is so heartbreaking. The mods and ambis deserve so much love and acknowledgement. I think I speak for everyone when I say we truly appreciate you guys and the work you put in.
It speaks volumes to me how Molly tried to do damage control *after* kicking everyone out - when it was easy, when she didn’t have to work with others and confront her mistakes. She would rather try and save the defamation of her character than connect with and support those around her. She treated her staff just how she treated the game, without care.
I believe that the “community etg fb page” is run by the same team because I got banned for having a difference of opinion with the owner, it wasn’t even a criticism, she just thought I should have posed my picture differently 🥴 and they also have the same “be positivity or get banned” rule.
This was incredible coverage Rattle. Not only was the research extensive but the deep dive into toxic positive and the effects it has on people and as a community is such an important thing to be aware of. Absolute masterpiece, thank you for speaking up

This video was intense to make, so many people to keep in mind, so many facts and thoughts to try and weave in, and I'm glad I got it down okay! That means a lot!
I do wish they'd listen, that they'd just take a breath, calm down and try and be better. An honest appology is all that's needed, a promise to do better is all that's needed. But all they focus on is how they are perceived, and this is such a damaging mindset to have. Crossing my fingers they realise this and make it right.

I’ve read every single message on the official Discord server since this broke out. I’ve talked to many of the people involved. I’ve been banned from ETG’s Discord server myself for leaving one (just ONE) constructive message where I respectfully said that they weren’t handling the situation the right way. I’m so frustrated, so fed up… I don’t know what to do anymore. But THANK YOU for making this video and informing people of what has happened. I’m hoping this will have a considerable impact.
Also, just one thing; I feel like the focus at the beginning of the video was a little bit wrong. Being a moderator / ambassador for a game is voluntary work and how much time/effort you put in to it is totally up to you. I talked to several of them and they never expected any pay. I just think you put a little too much weight on «Them not getting paid» when that’s never what they expected either. The devs did nothing wrong there. The issue was gratitude and acknowledgement, not payment.

I wish they'd handled the whole thing differently. They could have so easily made it better, but it's like they deliberately chose the other direction. It's so strange. But I do hope they can pull it out of the fire!
With SSO & ETG going downhill it makes me paranoid about all the other upcoming horse games. SSO & ETG are just like them, they all start as the best game that has ever existed and because of greed or criticism, their community falls apart. I’m so scared something like that my happen to Astride or Tales of RR. We have to hope for the best and I think we’ll all be so happy when a horse game can finally pull it together! Sorry if this comes as harsh, this video really showed me a ton of stuff I didn’t even know we’re actually happening so, thank you.

I don't think Astride at least will end up like this. They have stated before that they'd rather prolong the release of Astride than release a buggy and incomplete game early, so I don't think greed is a big part of their motives. They're also super interactive in the community and helpful

This was amazing. It just mind blows me how they went from really acting like they care as a horse game to become so paranoid when someone gives constructive feedback. I witnessed a lot of the shit that went down once the mods and ambassadors started speaking up and it’s just disappointing in general that this is how ETG handles feedback. Since experimenting the game for 5 days a while ago the game itself was just shitty and it was shocking bf considering how much they were showing in the beginning but once you actually touch the game you experience the flaws more especially with the controls, graphics, etc. There’s no excuse for them to just hide behind muting and locking down a discord sever to be positive and for me in my opinion they just made the discord more unsafe because of how it turned into a dictatorship prison more than a safe place because of how ETG handles constructive feedback horribly. Thank you for making this💗 and in general I hope the game gets better, but in my opinion it could potentially die this year if they don’t face it. They can’t run away forever and that’s only gonna keep shooting themselves in the foot more if they don’t try to anything. I also hope the people who were treated like shit know their worth and not experience something like this again because ETG as a company was unfortunately shifty and the truth says it all

I was Silverheart in this situation (I have no reason to hide it), I can say that it was hell watching everything go to shit and being silenced for something that could have been so easily fixed. We were shut down, told our criticism and polite suggestions were null, and banned when we grew tired of it all. It's... Depressing, to put it lightly, that the game and devs that I grew to love proved to be nothing but shit and horrible beings.
The game itself is beautiful, but it's bugged and the people that run it, corrupt.
Hey! It's damned depressing that a company that had so many loyal followers would throw it all away to protect (I'm guessing?) their pride. The game has a lot of potential, but it won't go anywhere if they're not willing to listen what the players have to say. I hope they can turn it around, it's sad to see it founder.

2) What I meant by the horse nerfs, it's essentially false advertising. It gave one impression when it really was something completely different.
3) The trolls at the end were NOT the harassers, that came LATER from other players. The people in the thread were NOT sending death threats.
This whole situation is tragic, and I don't think there is much of a come back from this. A lot of damage has been done and it will take a long, long time for people to forget what happened or even to forgive. If I did get anything wrong, don't hesitate to let me know and if you have a story to share from the other side don't hesitate to send it along! I'm always open to hearing what happened and if I missed something, I'll be sure to correct it. Despite everything, ETG does have potential, so let's hope this story has a happy ending.
A couple of days ago I looked for their channel, I'm not a sub anymore since I knew it would be a mobile game, I went there to talk "silly", I wanted to say that since I knew the game would be for mobile it was going to end up in pizza (local slang). But before posting I gave up, both because my English is not so good and also because I thought I was being a bit of a jerk 😅. I just didn't know that the situation was at this level, what a horror, after this video I lost all hope for this game.
BAHAHAH- wow! Ever since your OG video about ETG, I backed off from my thoughts about investing in the season pass, or trying to support the game with my own $$$ & I'm so glad I did! Can't believe they handled this situation like this. All the terrible things that happened behind the scenes- Just WOW!

i remember the european launch and how helpful the community was. every stupid and repeat question we had they answered individually. I was so impressed that it stuck in my mind after that. Awful to see what was actually going on behind the scenes of this amazing community and how they were treated.
I can't believe how this all went down, from such a promising horse game that many of us have been so excited to see. And it simply cracked because the Devs refuse to LISTEN and COMMUNICATE with its community. Push blame around, silence people and then shut the whole thing down. It's so disappointing that I'm kinda glad I didn't get the game until Global Launch and have yet to spend any money. No way would I want to fund a game that shows such disrespect for its players and the people that help them.
Thank you so much for posting this and telling the the truth of the whole situation. This shouldn't be hidden, I don't wish harm to the Devs or the team but hope they get their act together.

Toxic positivity is just that: toxic. It’s the most useless thing to ever exist. I mean, you can’t appreciate the sunshine if there are no rainy days. And putting that kind of pressure on anyone is never okay.
Accept that things might not work at first, accept that less then favorable things might happen with the game, and then work through it. Game design is an art, it’s a science. It takes collaboration and going back to the drawing board. Embrace the messy side of it because in the other side is a great game that many will love forever. And the messiness will make that victory that much more worth it. Messiness means it’s a real and you’re onto something if you keep working through it.
Don’t be afraid to be perfectly imperfect. Too many people and games try to be perfect and all smiles, but’s it’s the ones that dare to be imperfect that are the special and cherished games.
The ending is truly fascinating. Many people speak up about the mistakes of someone else or accuse people of something they did or sometimes didn't. But this one video particularly proved to me that there is still faith in an exposure. You didn't just try to call them out, to warn people, to accuse them of things they did or didn't.
Instead of going all negatively up in the moment, you give them a second chance and took the words of so many others into your call and I'm sure many really appreciated that.

I don't know whether I should laugh or cry about this. All we can do is sit back and watch them come crashing down. There's no saving or recovering from this. The devs' behavior is truly laughable and not tolerable in any shape or form. They are the cause for the fall of their own game and community. I declare Equestrian dead, rest in peace.
So let me get this straight- going from player to ambassador to mod is seen as an honor by the devs, something you have to earn. So basically you do all that work and they reward you by having you do more work for free? Whoever thought of that sounds pretty full of themselves- like they thought the title bestowed by them would be compensation enough for all the hard work.
Generally, volunteer positions are, uh, voluntary. No one was required to work for free. They all offered to work for free.

From your vids on SSO to ETG I agree with your opinions all the time. Such well thought out and planned vids. I love it. And your humor is top notch.
I was so excited for this game and followed the development of it for a while. When I first got to the actual “gameplay” it felt empty and lifeless, the controls were also so difficult to use. Getting further into the game I also discovered it’s very much a “pay to win”. Such a disappointment. It was deleted the same day it was downloaded.
All this coming to light just tells me I made the right choice of not keeping the game.

Make sure it isn’t white sage, as it is endangered due to over harvesting by white settlers, although it was originally used for Native American practices. Or as long as it doesn’t come from American soil since it grows in other places in the world.
Beware of copyright abuse the developers could try and issue a copy write claim through youtube to unfairly take this down. Wouldn't be the first time a company has tried that though. It's fairly easy to prove invalid claims though so be sure to appeal if they do try and get it taken down.
I would LOVE if you did a deep dive into horse Isle 1, 3, and especially 2 examining how the inflation and greed fucked the game and made it impossible for new players to succeed. It's a huge problem. Horses worth maybe 100k in the beginning are now selling for hundreds of millions, and you can't get any money other than through buying and reselling tokens, or leaving money in your bank and not logging back in for 3yrs.
Would love this as well. There's a ton to be said about these games.
The game is literally impossible for a new player unless maybe you're a13yr old with all the time in the world to work at it and the desire to sink extreme time and effort into it.
I tried it HI1 when I was like 16. It was fun enough and HI2 was just being released. It still had some issue with new players being on a even playing field but I tried HI3 just a few years ago at like 27 and even at that age HI3 I'd just.. not playable for a new player.
The crazy thing is the mods never asked for compensation. All they wanted was communication which is completely free. These mods must be angles. I do things for free like do comissions of art for free and I look back and think I should have charged and I do not stay up all night for years answering questions. The patience they all had is incredible. Also the instagram comments are turned off on Instagram (probably other socials Im just not on them) which is like putting all the players in a time out and I am so fed up with this game and for me its only been out a month.
I was silently in the background for this, and this sums it up correctly. I am so sad this keeps happening to Equestrian games. I wanted this game to replace SSO for me (I’ve been playing SSO since 2013ish) and it seems to just.. always happen to equestrian games. ETG is digging itself a deep grave, and unlike SSO, it doesn’t have the ‘age’ or history with it’s players to pull through this.
Not to mention my horse trailer is level 8 and my highest horse level is like 430ish 😅, kinda salty in general.
THANK YOU for posting this. I sadly regret having bought season passes, as I had no idea this was going on behind the scenes. I will not support the game further. At least not until they issue a formal apology to all parties involved, and compensate them for everything. Which is highly unlikely.

Lmaooo I was one of the first 30 OG beta testers. I played the game properly twice? A half-dozen times maybe (which amounted to creating a character and a horse, buying four others, buying all the tack available, creating tacksets and going on a trailride). It was okay for like, three days but then there was nothing else to do, so I went back to SSO and resolved to come back in a few months to see if there’d been anything added. (BTW I hate discord, can’t make heads or tails of it, too complex for my analogue brain, but the discussion in the server was not game-related, just chatting about real life and general small talk, blegh).
I came back to the game a few months later post-update and my account had been wiped. Nothing remained, not only was I back to square one, but the only bloody functionality they’d added was incomprehensible training and jumping. Wow. So worth it. And it was still buggy as hell and downright difficult to play.
I muted the server, vaguely observed Instagram posts from afar and haven’t touched the game since.
And I *was* regretting it until this shitstorm broke out. Jesus. Do you recommend Rival Stars? I played that right at the beginning too, got bored and abandoned it but subsequent hype is making me want to revist. Is it worth it?

Thank you for yet another great video, Rattle! I had heard of all this going down in the ETG community and felt really disappointed, although I didn't really know the details of it. Really appreciate you covering all the important parts and breaking it down perfectly, just like you always do. I am glad I didn't spend that much time on this game and I will not come back to it in any near future. The developers ideas were great - execution not so much. Perhaps one day Kavalri Games can create a better game and learn from their mistakes. One can hope!

I genuinely enjoy your videos because I can't find anyone else who talks about these horse games/animal game genres and actually reviews them in a critical way. It's good to have someone who at least knows something about games, and apply them to these niche genres. Still can't believe all this shit went down in the ETG server.
Not sure if you intend to strictly do horse games, but I'd highly recommend you covering Stray. Since most people coming to your channel like horse/animal games, I'm sure some would appreciate it and I would love to hear what you have to think on it!!

I first played the game when the global launch, I thought it was pretty interesting for about 3 days until I realised it was quite boring. Also as you mentioned it was released elsewhere first, so those that played first will always be further ahead which gives an unfair advantage on scores.
I uninstalled it not long after you made your first video about them.
When breeding came out I got it again to see what it was like, I deleted it again, Immediately. You have to wait HOURS and DAYS? For a 90% chance of getting a crappy “ foal”.
It’s such a shame, this game had/has such potential. But with high prices on items, no chance of getting coins ingame, hours of waiting for breeding, boring repetitive courses, jumping bar glitches and more. I have not got much hope that this game will improve.
I was a member of the discord before the game's launch, as a patreon supporter, and I left the server because of this exactly this, the cult-like energy that every criticism or bug report would be piled on with platitudes from what seemed like random players. I presume they were ambassadors, but at the time anyway, there was no title or anything for them so it was frustrating to report something for the Devs and have what looked like just another user, who clearly only had the same amount of information as I had, respond to me when they didn't actually have an answer for what I was reporting or asking. I never gave any of them abuse but I'd say for a lot of the abuse they got, it could have been helped by the Devs singling them out, giving them a more visible role and, most importantly, actually giving them more information than the general userbase already had. Also the toxic positivity is just always yuck.
This was and is absolutely brilliant. I couldn’t stop listening to it all the way through. I’m kinda glad I’m sticking to SSO… and yet at the same, I wish the devs would listen more there too.
A lot of people believe horse games are cursed. I'm starting to believe it 😂

I saw this coming from a mile away. The game isn’t gonna make it to Christmas tbh. The in game prices are ABSURD, it’s clearly a money grab. It lacks hella content, they reuse jumping courses. They have stats in game that are completely irrelevant as of now. It’s been MONTHS you’d think we’d at least have racing or something
Another entertaining and informative vid, Rattle. I've already placed in my review and hope even if it's small, it'll do a world of difference someday as a whole with the community of ETG. I loved this game, but it's so broken, I just had to uninstall only three days, and when I peeked back in to see if I could ask about how I could get a glitch fixed, I saw a war coming, and so I fled before it broke out into its worst form. It's a pity, and I feel sympathy and pray for all those suffering beneath these times in horse game development.
Molly reminds me of some of the communities, that say you're either doing everything wrong, or outright just breed toxic towards outsiders and usually insult them. And, pretend that putting xxx on the end of a sentence fixes the insults.

I honestly did not know of the things happening in the discord server. This brings up so much emotions in me. I feel so sorry towards every ambassador, moderator and player. I know exactly what it feels like to speak up about something you love and to speak up with respect and criticism. And to not be heard and be thought of as negative, always nagging and annoying. If the mind isn't taught how to process these answers, you get caught up, maybe start to believe yourself that you have nothing important to say.

I remember when I was checking old server log on ETG discord, and noticed the *ton* of negativity in it, even though it was clear as day, hardly any moderation action was done, it scared me and made me think the moderation was not good and something *was bound to happen* soon, didn't suprised me when one day I saw discord's notification and see that it was Molly saying the discord is gonna be closed, I still didn't know the whole of the story though and I'm glad you made this vid Rattle! thanks a lot for the exposure.

I followed the development of this game for two years, and I played it the day of the global launch. It looked like a really fun and cool horse game, and I and I'm sure everyone else was really excited about it too! It makes me so sad and disappointed that after everything, this is what the game ended up like. I really want to like this game. Everyone does! I guess some people just don't understand that players give criticism because they want to see a change for the better, not because they want to be bullies. I really hope that things will get better some day. smh

I’ve played this game every day for three ish weeks with kids at the barn. It’s become our after barn routine when chores are done and everyone looks forward too it as soon as we get of the horses. It’s such a shame this is going on because it had so much potential.
Second comment but I really hope the devs see this. As you said at the end, the community and game isn’t doomed just yet. People are so passionate about this game and offer all this criticism because they WANT it to be better. They want to help make it the game the devs envisioned. The game is unfinished, but it has potential. But it’s never going to get any where if the team refuses to admit the abuse some of the most integral people suffered, and the silencing of the people who are playing the damn game.
I didn’t know why I woke up with so many notifications and this video really brought me so much awareness to this subject, I thought I got banned or something when I saw no channels and Molly’s message, where she talked about the ambassadors and moderators bullying however I never saw any of these happen? Okay. I have so many things to say.
First, and I will also end my comment by this to keep some good vibes :
Your videos are always so well written, so well edited, your researches are incredible, you show evidence, you have good arguments, and you know what you talk about. Your calm voice is very pleasing to hear and the memes you add are a good way to process the informations we just heard. Thank you for that.
Now, I would like to say a few things about this :
1 - I wasn’t aware of this situation, since I am a French player, and after SSO’s dramas… I decided to take some distance with game communities. I guess I was right. But I still looked on Instagram and CZcams videos of players. What does this show, then ? That they were really good at keeping everyone silent. And it pisses me off. How would they think it would end well ?
2 - They do not learn from other’s mistakes. Who am I talking about ? SSO, obviously. I feel like ETG has a very childish state of mind. It really seemed they were competing against SSO on so many points. And yet… they didn’t learn from SSO’s mistakes. SSO has this tendency of not listening. They don’t silent us, but it’s the same result. The feedback isn’t taken seriously and they say « don’t like it, leave it ».
Here, with ETG, it’s even worth since they showed directly that they don’t want us to speak, wether it’s an ambassador / moderator or a player. It will drive people mad to see their efforts taken down. It will drive people mad to see they’re silenced by the devs themselves. And I do not get how they couldn’t foresee that. I cannot get how they could not see this coming.
3 - ETG wants validation and they’re scared it will not work out good for them. All they want to avoid will happen because they wanted to avoid it so badly. They look really stupid doing that. And once again, it is a very childish way of handling things.
Overall, I was frustrated the whole video. I wanted to comment so badly, but I waited until the end. ETG’s dev team is very immature and they keep on not listening, as SSO, they want to show they listen (but they don’t), as SSO, they keep on closing their eyes on the problems, as SSO, just to keep on living their dream of a perfect game everyone would love. Spoiler alert : life isn’t a fairytale, and bugs happen in games. It doesn’t make it a bad game. Constructive criticism doesn’t make it a bad game either. It shows how people are invested to talk about the problems that could be fixed.
ETG failed keeping you silent, and now it’s going to be a mess, like it has become with SSO, if they don’t change.
I am sorry I kept bringing SSO here, but they are so related, mostly because ETG claimed (not clearly but in a more « subtle » way, aka not saying it out loud) to be a better game than SSO, in the near future.
ETG will never become a good game and it will fail soon if they don’t change now. It is more willing to disappear than other games because it’s quite new and it has no emotional connection. RPGs have this power to be almost unforgettable because of the lore, no matter how it evolves, because people will get close to the characters and start feeling attached to them. Here ? Nothing keep us on the game. Not the first horse we get. I had to sell mine really quickly. Not the competitions. Not the trail rides. It’s boring. Even breeding is boring. When you get a foal with a good potential, you have to train it aaaaaall the way. And it takes weeks, even months to do that ! I personally do not have the patience to wait this long. This is why I think ETG is going right on the wall. And I am getting sick of those game devs that want to shut us down, and don’t even realize we are the reason this game is still living. They never learn.
Anyway, thank you sooooo much for this video. It was so well made, I loved it. I was looking forward to it, and I took my time to watch it and respond to it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You informed me on a situation I had no idea about and I am so sorry for all the ambassadors, moderators, and beta players who were silenced by ETG. Thank you for your hard work, I love it and it was oh, so worth it.

I got blocked from their Instagram years ago for having valid critiscm. My cousin was a beta player and got kicked for sharing a screenshot from the discord where people were trash talking another girl I talk to on Instagram who also had valid critiques and basically begging the devs to block her too (which they did) any time you tried to say anything you got dogpiled by people for even daring to have a difference of opinion on something. I still wonder whatever happened to Goldy. She seemed to be the ring leader. I wonder if she even realized as well. This community and the devs have ALWAYS been toxic and it is so refreshing to finally see other people realizing it as well.
Wow... I was suprised why the discord was suddenly empty. I had a long brake after i got frustated of my device not handeling the game suddenly (before it was fine). This video explains everything so well! Thank you for making this. Really sad it went to this. If only some people would understand constructive critisism isn't bullying, harrasment or a negative thing. Coming from a person who has come far from the same headspace where to my mind and anxiety critisism was a bad thing.

i’ve been playing since the release in nz, been following the instagram since 300 followers, supporting for YEARS. i can’t believe this is what the game turned into. i’ve been so confused as to what is happening with the discord and i’m disgusted by the behavior of the dev team and hope they can either get their shit together or get out. i don’t know how any one can support a dev team treating their mods and ambassadors like that.

This is exactly why people who cannot handle criticism or even outright negativity SHOULD NOT be putting themselves in positions where they need to be able to receive any kind of feedback. Especially from large communities that they are CHOOSING TO SERVE, and ESPECIALLY online communities. If you cannot handle the discourse of having your work criticized, then you have no business making videogames. It's really that simple.

I’m so afraid of joining discord servers because of my Aspergers and inappropriate ways to start a conversation with a negative question about something.
I know the silence and I know how it feels to be booted just for asking a relatively dumb benign question but it’s too much for some. And this really makes me glad I never stepped a foot inside their discord server seeing as how it is. This is also why I don’t step my foot into most servers. I don’t feel welcomed due to my disability and the way I type is apparently not so good either. It’s understandable but it’s also a little saddening that the way I type is seen as such to be silenced and avoided. So seeing this made me want to cry for many of them.
I have chronic depression as well since I was 10, so this also could be one more push to add to the mixing pot of my woes and why I sometimes don’t understand that what I type is too much and not appropriate. Sighs but I’m learning and wanting to try my very best at getting better to be normal.

thanks so much for explaining the situation. i was't following the server so close, and therefore missed the whole drama. I don't understand how the dev team can take the situation like this and completely ignore the actual problem until it was too late. the toxic positivity is so visible, and unfortunately the game will indeed lose its popularity if they don't solve this and learn to take our CC in a positive way. disclaimer: i personally don't want to take sides in this, since i wasn't involved. i do however don't think it's okay how some devs handled this. they should've asked questions they had for us too, communicated more clearly with us.

Rattle, you have done it again. I have only been on the discord server for about over a month. Atmosphere seemed nice, but after I and a few others made some criticisms on pricing of items in-game well we didn't feel heard. I was there when a few players spoken out in explaining to (secretly agreebale) mods that players felt their input being ignored. As you've said, it was a power keg ready to set off and it's been what? 4 Days? ( i could be wrong). The fuse has burned and the keg went BOOM! I was shocked and I quickly wanted to know what had happened, devs were suspicious for deleting former mods and admins comments. Very glad and lucky to have had a few people catch screenshots and send them out to those who'd wished to see them. I know we're supposed to listen to both sides of the story, but in just the short time of being there it was clear that the only one to take was the admins and mods. Plus they have more evidence along with better communication with the players, if anything the devs have made enemies. I do not condone anyone to harass or threaten devs, even the ones such as Molly and Nicole.
All I can say is that if they don't do anything soon, this game will be nothing more but grounded powder blown into the wind. I am just upset that I spent some goods amount of money on the game like everyone that has done so. It be a shame if it went down like this, but let this be reminder to any who on the path of creating a horse game: When you don't have the support of the people/community you are pretty much screwed. xD

I just wanted to give you a small correction; 3million sek is akin to 290 000 dollars, not 2.8 million! this of course has no bearing on the rest of the breakdown of what has happened and the video makes great points without this number being correct, but as a swedish person myself I knew this number sounded way off cause the krona is quite a weak currency haha, so just wanted you to know! I realize this is an old video by now but either way.
I have to say, I don't play horse games myself but I came across your channel and the way you break things down in an entertaining yet clear way keeps me oddly invested in horse games I've never played. keep up the great work! c:
