  • Predators are a part of internet and games and Equitopia is what happens when a server not only encourages decadent interactions but protects one of those predators. This is both a look at predators in horse games, and an in-depth look of this Minecraft server.

I remember "Daddy" from Equitopia, I was banned from the server by one of his 'buddies' because I began to get on to him for what he would say to underage girls (specifically 13 - 15.) It was absolutely sick, many of the mods defended him when I was expressing my disgust.

This just reminds me of the amount of awful garbage found on Roblox and how none of the founding company cares unless you tweet/make vids on it, because then you get sued. Yes that happened. Also, I'm a dutch star stable player and the chat is just as gross as it used to be. The AI system SUCKS and boys are still bullying for 'being potential pedos' while kids don't understand a real predator wont announce themselves to be one. I've told them to get more mods and I'd be more than willing to stick around at night because I am a night person, but alas, they don't care.

I'm in a Dutch server as well, I don't claim to be perfect, I've been in countless dramas which I'm not proud of. But some people are swearing with the grossest things you can imagine. Derogatory terms related to illnesses and disabilities are thrown around like it's nothing, probably by kids who have zero life experience. I even got called a n*zi recently, you can not make this shit up. You could get bullied for being autistic/on the spectrum and when even a small fight occurs everyone in the global chat will just scream "STOP MET RUZIE MAKEN" like that's gonna do something ;-; Oh and don't even get me started on the countless clubs who kept bugging our own for no particular reason- It's a hell hole in chat

@@VibingMeike I agree! It's why I generally stay away from clubs or the global chat. I usually report players instead of telling them not to fight but I don't think it does anything really and I find that so sad. Ever since I learnt a lot of ambassadors were or still are underage it left a bad taste in my mouth and I hope someone on that team sees the light some day and starts hiring capable, screened adults as moderators instead.

No exaggeration, but on a Polish server in Star Stable, on one of the most famous Emerald Forest the same thing happens. Someone says the wrong thing, they already start insulting that person. This situation reminded me that someone wrote on the global ''Hobby Horse is not a sport,'' and later as it turned out - there was drama. As if- I understand that not everyone agrees with this opinion, but let them keep their opinion to themselves, not to everyone XDD

I've had an account of on Equitopia for about 4 years(not actively for the last year and a half), and was very surprised to see inappropriate language in the chat when I first joined. It was the first time I had ever joined a Minecraft server and decided to just ignore it, as no one else seemed to make a problem of it and the horses were such fun. I’m quite a solitary gamer and barely look at the chat anyway. I never had a real problem with the fact that the stallion would mount, it seemed like a realistic thing, but the genitals felt a step too far. Stuff like this hits very close- me and my generation went through so much from unrestricted internet access and unregulated chatrooms and games before rules were put in place in hindsight. The fact that a lot of us went through the exact same thing then as now is horrifying.
We had to learn how to stay safe alone. Not all of us got out of it the same, or at all. The fact that this is still a common thing is both panful and rage inducing, especially as people still blame the children instead of the sick monsters who design spaces for themselves where they have leverage over anyone who could or would even know to tell- or to get out.
And from the perspective of the kids- I have been in spaces like this, playing along and commenting explicit things for the taboo of it, engaging with content that is nsfw and going along with mostly anything the people we looked up to did- either not knowing it could be (was) dangerous, nor that it might have been by design. I time and time again dodged bullets I didn't even register was there, and only in hindsight see why things like chat filters and intense moderation was a must in these situations. I can also attest to normalization of nsfw, violent or outright explicit content like what happened in equitopia made us/them that more unsafe.
Kids and adults interacting online is as unsafe now as it was 15 years ago. Kids keep getting hurt. KIds keep going missing. Kids keep turning up dead. Something needs to change.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I remember growing up and seeing the first few social media pages starting to pop up and how they, in no time at all, went from a space where friends would chat to kids desperately trying to earn the aproval of hunters. These early hunters never had to hide any of their criminal behaviours either because parents ASSUMED that if it was a space for kids... It. Was. SAFE.
I remember the bullying starting up and being told by friends that the way to avoid being targeted was to comply with the hunters requests. I remember money being offered to friends for photos.
I will never forgett the hunter who targeted me. How he praised me for being so mature for my age. How I was the only one who could make him laugh, he missed me when I was in school because he wanted to talk to me so badly... I remember our conversations starting to change, when he started to demand pictures and that I agree meet him. I remember my mother finding out about the hunter just as I started thinking the hunter was right, maybe I was mean to him for not wanting to meet up... Especially since he offered to drive all the way to where I lived. My mother probably saved me.
As an adult I found out my dad thought my mum overreacted when she threathened the hunter with police. I cannot put into words how lucky I am that my mother took action. How lucky I am to not be one of those missing kids...

@@MissFluffyPink I am so sorry you and your friends had to go through that. I have such a hard time trusting anyone or anything nowadays both on the internet and in person. For good reason sure, but it keeps hurting relationships and feels really isolating. Anyone I talk to could be dangerous, anyone I ignore could too.
Juggling my own fears while trying to help friends and family stay safe when there's still so few safe spaces to point them to, or resources to learn from is really hard. And apparently my fears make me paranoid.
It's so easy to sweep statistics under the rug until you're part of them. I may not be missing, but the damage is there even if you can't see any scars. I may not be missing but I knew people that disappeared, and people that were very, very close.

Chat moderation can really only go so far. What we need is parents and adults teaching kids to have a guard and always keep it up, no matter who's around. Children need to know how to protect themselves and from what. Unfortunately I don't think many parents now really care about their kids and what they are being exposed to either online or in school or even by "friends". I'm very glad you make videos like this Rattle, even if it sucks to realizes stuff like this exists. It needs to be know and said, so that maybe people will help change things.

i was a longtime player on equitopia, and i am not surprised with the findings of this video. at first, the server is very inviting because there’s so much to the plugins, no wonder people stuck around. the community gets very vulgar VERY quick, at one point the owner (maeve) was talking about her sexual experiences in chat. it baffled me that she could just say all of this detailed nonsense in front of children. the entire owner team bullied and belittled people daily, not to mention a lot of changing of horses to their liking. it was discouraging getting a horse and then seeing its speed change drastically.
after a year or so of me being there, it started to get worse. shows were rigged, the server was on and off in drama, it was just a mess. jed made comments like the ones showed in the video often, but so did maeve. they spoke about people in chat without a care about their well-being. there was a lot of deceit behind the scenes. i was trial for a bit but ultimately, the moment i got access to the secret chats and saw what they spoke about, i couldn’t confidently back the server. i was lied to, bullied, and straight up shamed. if you try to go to anybody high up, it’s aired out to the owners and you are most likely either ignored or bullied.
i’m glad i got out of there because the server is nicely made, but no pixelated game is worth seeing all ages get abused and manipulated. there is a wonderful side to the community, some amazing people, but it’s the management that’s the issue. right before i resigned the team due to personal issues after only being on it a short while, i saw maeve give a horse a lethal disease because the owner was “breeding the horse wrong”. no communication, just condemning the horse without a word.
from the comments i saw in mod chat both in minecraft and out, there is no way they didn’t know jed was a sexual predator. he said a lot in the short span of me being staff, sad to see them not admitting it. the video was well put together, thank you for showing people the truth!

The hard thing with grooming is it can be done without any 'adult' content being discussed at all. You mentioned ideological grooming where the predator convinces someone over time by slowly breaking them down that ideologically it isn't wrong for x to happen but unfortunately that's not the only kind. There's also exceptionalism grooming where x is wrong _except_. This can look like "oh an adult and a minor in a relationship is wrong, except that I'm so mature/ smart/ in love" and that one is a lot harder to monitor for because the grooming can just look like "wow you're really mature for your age" and not anything more sinister. I had a friend who was horrified that his 16-year-old cousin was dating a 20-year-old, but was married to a man 23 years older than him who he had started "dating" at 14.

  • @explodo5987
    @explodo5987 Před rokem +22

I'm starting to think that a lot of issues like this could be solved (or better handled) if society didn't have such a chokehold on gendered subjects. If society didn't ensue the fact that horses are for ''little girls'' and just accepted that everyone regardless of age and gender can like horses, then an issue like this would be more likely to be resolved quickly. I assume there were older people in the server who tried to protect and change the behavior, but I agree! Horse games are a gateway for predators to groom young girls.
I want to use SSO as an example here because I'm currently stuck in a country where SSO isn't widely known to an older audience and therefore the servers are mostly filled with children. Every time a player comes up to be and sends a request, I accept it and immediately ask if they need something (usually in form of a ''?''), and if they respond that they want to be friends, I tell them that I don't think it's a good idea to try and make friends with strangers on the internet. I let them know that I'm an adult and make them aware of the fact that adults play this game, though not necessarily for any malicious reasons, but adults being friends with children is just.. weird in a sense.
I have such a hard time with children being on the internet, and I know I was one of them, but I was never a victim of any kind of predatory behavior. As someone who actively engages in fandoms that are focused on 16-18+ games, whenever I see someone below that age restriction, I just.. can't. It makes me sad, it makes me sick because I know that there are people out there who will take advantage of that, and the children often don't know the kind of danger they're in, as well as the kind of danger that they put the adults in for pretending to be older than they are.
Obviously Equitopia should have raised their age restriction, but of course then they couldn't exploit the impressionable children, now could they? /s

Parents should not have the internet be a babysitter/teacher for their kids and teens. Heavy restriction or at least monitor what their child is watching or playing is also needed to keep kids and teens safe from preds; it's never been easier to see what they're up to in 2023. The parent could be the laziest neglectful person and it'd only take a few clicks on a phone or laptop to restrict access to certain areas of the internet or see who they are talking to.
Yes, it's a breach of trust with teenagers to monitor them with everything they do, but at the same time the internet is full of untrustworthy and sick people that actively target the most vulnerable to predatory behavior.
In my experience though, most parents have no idea what's going on outside of their Twitter groups or the absolute boomer of a website, Facebook. Thinking preds wouldn't be in children friendly games and groups(and some not child/teen friendly lbr), leading to most not doing anything until their kid gets hurt, turns on them, or gets kidnapped.

If your child can trust that they won't be punished for being hurt and manipulated by others, and that you'll help them, they *will* go to you for help and when they need your opinion on a fishy situation.

The gameplay itself was just fine but the people made playing it unbearable. I played for months and had like 80 horses, but all the stuff with Jed made me not wanna play anymore. I can't stand Maeve or any other staff, they are so passive aggressive, judgmental, and have private chats talking about players and stuff. This has been going on for a VERY long time in SSO, and I know it's not just SSO, but since this audience is mainly SSO players, I'll stick to SSO only. I have been targeted and even accepted into a club that set out for this very purpose to hack people's accounts (I ofc left immediately and reported them YEARS ago) and the conversations as posted have become more and more frequent. When I speak out people just ignore me and not enough people are speaking out about it and confronting them or reporting it. SSO can't do everything, we have a part to play as well, especially when we see something like this being 'discussed' in global chat or say chat. It's doesn't have to be a paragraph, you can even apporach the person being targeted by mailing them instead, but always say something. Everyone knows it's dangerous online, and SSO is no different.

I've been playing in Minecraft horse servers for about 3-4 years now and have had mostly positive experiences. I mainly played Equestricraft (it's closed for a little while now) but it didn't allowed cursing/profanity in global, mods had to be at least 13+, etc. I usually play by myself in servers and don't get too close to other people so I've never really noticed stuff like this.
I wanted to try Equitopia about 2 and a half years ago and was surprised just opening the chat. Even though I was a young teenager, I knew about mature topics and didn't mind a little bit of profanity. After joining for just a few minutes, there was a lot of intense language and sexual references in the chat that made me uncomfortable (similar to the screenshots in this video), so I didn't finish the tutorial and left.
I rejoined about a week ago since the other servers I played closed and I've had no other games to play. Everyone was super welcoming and the environment felt like a totally different server. It seems like a great community and I've enjoyed playing it so far (but I’m also not friends with anyone and in any private chats). There's also a chat filter that you can turn on and off (I just prefer to have it on). It definitely seems like it has improved and I've seen a few other comments saying similar things, but then again I haven't played much. If I see chats like the ones I saw a few years ago or in this video then I'm out. After hearing about so many people’s negative experiences, I think I’ll just play it by myself and avoid chats until a new server or game opens (Equestricraft is being revamped and reopening soon).

I joined Equitopia 3 or 4 years back, played for 6 months and met some amazing people who I still talk to. This place was a pathetic excuse for a Minecraft server, their rules weren’t applied unless they didn’t like you, and so much favoritism was being applied. I will argue that some of the people there are genuinely nice people. My friends and I witnessed how rude the staff were, there were some sweet mods though! I wanted to buy a plot and Maeve (I think her name was Shorny then?) was the only one online and instead of telling me she was busy, she made a passive aggressive comment in chat about people bothering her for “mod issues” even though i was online and right there. I never had any interaction with Jed, he was fairly nice but said some questionable things in chat, I was only really having problems with Maeve. Nobody ever really talked to me, I kept to myself most days, but I saw a lotta nonsense in chat that was never stopped.

Call with him and a few other players and we spoke about some things, such as fat shaming some of the members and being extremely rude about some other things. It’s hard for new players to even get used to the game since most of the mods are rude, if you ask about a thing more than once having a hard time to explain it they get mad about it and pretty much say “f you you’re on your own” I recommend some people avoid that server even if it’s realistic or not there’s better servers with nicer ppl in it.

It always felt very "cliquey" especially amongst a lot of the staff, (I've noticed this on previous equestrian minecraft servers I would play on, but never to the level of equitopia lmao) mods & admins seemed like they were on a power trip & had a very condescending + arrogant attitude 😭
There were a few nice players I got to chat with but those were mainly other newer players & lower ranking staff, I never had a good experience with the owners despite keeping to myself most of the time. They were also very against any sort of criticism towards themselves or the server, so you essentially couldn't voice any problems you had without feeling the wrath of the higher ups🤣
I ended up leaving within a few months of playing since it just became too stressful to log onto the server anymore, and boy am I glad I did after watching this video, especially since I was 13 at the time. Just to touch on the pred situation in HR:
The accused is a woman, and was IP banned from Howrse after screenshots and information from one of their victims was leaked (i.e, Howrse found them guilty).
HR staff CLAIMS they looked into it as this had been an issue that had been brought up well over a year before the discord incident, however it's likely they never did, beyond maybe monitoring the forum and chat messages sent by the person.
This person has a VERY unique username, meaning it's 99% likely that the account is either held by the same person OR by someone who knew about the incident from Howrse.
HR's kneejerk reaction to player's swarming the discord about their inability to maintain a safe environment after pushing so hard to create a 13+ friendly community was a result of their continual abuse and neglect of their community and staff. The discord closing is more or less a coverup of their poor business choices, not necessarily because the community was unmanageable from the pred incident. Most would argue it was actually the scapegoat that HR needed because they wanted to put blame on the players instead of fessing up that they could not maintain the discord with their limited, unpaid but heavily worked volunteer staff.
Just a week ago there was another pred incident that was rehashed that had occurred last year between two HR players resulting in a child deleting their discord account and disappearing completely after potentially being exposed to an adult's breasts, as well as general accusations of other adult players being creepy towards young players.
TLDR HR is still a very unsafe place, as are most equine-based games with any form of global chat or forum. Any horse game that caters to children (which is... any horse game), will always end up being a cesspool of creeps.

Truly horrifying. Thank you for touching this subject, Rattle, amazing & wise video as always!
Now, lemme just post a huge, HUGE wall of text with my opinions, experiences & thoughts.
While there is nothing wrong with creating games & content that is supposed to empower certain gender/gender identities, marketing or creating an online game as "4 girlz/boyz only!!!" is problematic itself. Gender separation in gaming causes a lot of sexism & sexual harassment. BOTH for women and men. You can tell a boy that this online horse game is "girl ONLY". But if he likes it, he will play it, especially when there aren't many other good horse games. If a community consists mostly of young girls, the boy will get a lot of unpleasant comments and harassment, such as being called a "sissy" or being accused of being a predator. Girls playing "boy games" will get a lot of bullying and disgusting, sexist comments. These situations are horrifying & often even cause trauma in youth. And in some cases, it's not the worst thing.
Here comes the topic of this video - predatory. If a game is marketed towards a specific gender, predators with certain gender preferences will have an "easier way" to find victims of their preferred gender. Most of the time, it's the "online girls' games" such as SSO. SSO was supposed to be an empowering safe space for girls, but in reality, they created something awful.
Toxicity, predatory, and harassment are a part of the Internet and online gaming since the very beginning of the Internet, and they always will be. But some cases are (bleh...) "more inviting" for these monsters. Game creators need to remember that, and if they truly care for a healthy community, they need to seriously take action. Because let's be honest, SSO does nothing. I don't use chat on SSO, but I've seen and reported bullying & even sexual harrassment, sometimes of LGBT people on SSO a few times, only to see the same people doing the same things in a few days & get some cookie-cutter respones. And how is this supposed to be "kid & LGBT friendly?" Disgusting.
This doesn't change the fact, that good moderators don't matter if kids aren't educated on avoiding predators & handling cyberbullying. Let's be real, if a kid doesn't know what is bad, nothing will protect them. I "experienced" that myself. What I do to stop it is to educate my younger cousin on internet safety, because sadly her parents don't know anything about it. I just hope that it will be enough to protect her.
If anyone managed to read this and wants to add something or discuss on something they disagree with, go on, just be civil. :) This is a serious topic, I believe that it's worth discussing.

The worst thing is that these are incredibly small numbers of "hunters" compared to other communities, games and platforms. There should be ZERO and yet this is significantly small numbers compared to just about anything else. Go to any online game, any community on any platform, literally anything where you can talk to other people and there's stuff that could POSSIBLY appeal to children. They will be everywhere. It's genuinely so sickening that people can't be sane mentally well people and be attracted to others their age. Most of the time it's not even that they like the younger appearance (while that's often a bonus), it's just that they know children are vulnerable, gullible and easy to control. They want somebody that doesn't know better than to leave and get out of that situation so they get everything they want, with zero care about anybody else.

  • @SuperSkyhorse
    @SuperSkyhorse Před rokem +2

No matter what game, there are predators. I'm playing a strategy ant game, nothing remotely sexual about it, it even has a pretty strict automatic chat moderation, but of course there are discord servers, and that's where things go wrong. Some dude even tried targetting me, being all friendly and nice in public chats, and then he sent me direct messages asking for my pictures...and he was pretty insistent, I had to firmly refuse several times. After that, he completely lost interest in talking to me in public chats, so his angle was obvious. Begs the question, how many others did he harrass? Sure, i'm an adult and could firmly say no and I didn't fall for his sweet act prior, but what about the kids playing there?
There is just no sure way to defend against predators, except heavy moderation, and who has the money for that? Or better yet, who wants to pay for that? No one.
I'm part of an sso Facebook group, the hungarian one, and since it's such a small country, naturally the community is also small, and the people who make these posts are even rarer, yet I still see regurarly people posting screenshots of the chat where people say pretty horrible stuff. AI or no AI, you can find a way around it, and the moderators obviously didn't work out.
So yes, I agree that kids' online presence needs to be monitored. They are young and stupid, no matter how much you preach about online safety, they won't be safe. I myself saw naked manbits several times as a young teen, completely unwillingly, and was talked to by predators in sexual manner (as well as other kids I new on the internet), simply because I was young and was on the internet. And thank god, I never had a camera, until I got older. Kids are kids. Parents shouldn't allow them to communicate online, without supervision. But most importantly, parents should be the kind of presence, with whom their child feels safe, and would talk to them about anything without being afraid of their mistakes, but unfortunately, many kids are just scared that their parents will be angry at them, and will be even more unsafe online.

The older servers are more organised, trolls are ostracised, people actually communicate in meaningful ways, there are rules that most of the people follow, and those that don't, they get punished. Well, on those servers, where there is actually order, because some older servers are just full of grievers. Firstly the majority of Minecraft equestrian servers do not make hefty profits. They rely solely on player donations to pay for server hosting, website hosting, advertising, paying developers to make plugins and mods, purchasing plugins, PayPal fees and taxes. Without donation store prices, the majority of servers would not exist. In most cases, you can see where servers are exploiting vs trying to survive.
I have been playing Ranch N Craft for years, and I can genuinely say that the server is as PG as possible. You cannot moderate conversations through private messages but the public chats and discords are moderated and kept PG at all times with no inappropriate talk etc :)

Ok well the title made me think of predators like wolves and lions not full-grown men praying on young girls 😅 but that aside, on SSO this is a very common thing, there was one guy who kept "marrying" girls in-game every two month or so. Another one that I met (I was an adult) was fairly graphic as well, talking about how his girlfriend was under the table blowing him. I genuinely hope he never talked to teens/kids like that, but I think he got banned soooo...

TW?: regarding sso, we had a similar situation on our server(misty valley). I and my friends contacted the police and it is being researched by the police and sso. The whole situation is disgusting and I just find it insane that these people want to hurt others. I will forever remember the day I and my friends had to gather information and create a report for the police..and it saddens me how hard it was to communicate with the victim, they deserve better:(
Turned out this person was 31 years old and also engaged in these activities in real life too. They had multiple sso accounts to reach out to minors and to make the whole situation less suspicious in which she basically forced her club members to "take care" of (training horses).
Be careful everyone, and don't trust people on the internet- be cautious!

I dont know if you are aware of what happens these days on german SSO servers. I have to write about it because it horrificly fits perfect to the topic of this video. So, since many months german servers are afflicted by two hackers that try to sell their cheat program to the young children playing SSO. These 2 are young male adults. They are advertising mainly on tiktok for "their" program (I heard they got it from elsewhere - doesn't matter). With that cheat program you can instantly win championships, level your horses faster and get player XP up to lvl 30, you can geht horses for free etc. That these functions are game destroying is obvious. But the PRICE you have to pay if you want to get the program is the worst: You have 3 options - 1. You pay 350 € to get the program that secretly contains a file that is contaminated with a virus that gives complete access to your PC (makes you vulnerable to blackmail), 2. You send photos or videos of yourself being in underwear or naked, 3. you have to advertise the program/search for new interested children.
This happens at least for months now and german SSO is flooded by cheaters that use the cheat program. It is getting worse and worse and SSO doesnt seem to do much about it. These two persons also spread lies about being able to hack player accounts (they CANT!). They say you cant get banned by SSO. They will spread every lie that is able to make people want this cheat program.
I am shocked that pedophiles on sso have such an easy time doing their crimes.

Hello. I'm an ex-admin from Equitopia.
I have to say I agree with most of what you're saying. This server is not suitable for children. The age minimum should definitely be higher than 13.
I do NOT recommend this server. It's quite addicting as a 15/16 etc year old. But this server can make and break you..
The claims on the server owner are all true unfortunately.
However, I have to disagree with the staff thing, I for one always tried to speak up for the underaged people who didn't get to voice their opinions.
This is also the very thing that made me quit in the end. Most voices aren't heard because the owners and staff can be quite toxic.
As some people already said in the comments section, it can be very inviting at first. But in the end it's not worth it.

I always ask them to ask their parents to teach them about online security. _. Or tell them. I still don't get why people think sso replaces a babysitter or something like this in
Have done that now for 4 years, through that I'm thinking of, maybe making my career path in the internet police/safety section to help children and teens to know the rules and problems on the internet.

Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with horse genitalia in kids horse games (as long as on the very mild side) such as a bump for males and a darken back side for mares. I thinks it adds a bit of realism and more character to horses. Like if I want a male horse, I want something down there because it will be weird to have a male horse and have it look like a mare. Or every horse to look like a mare to be exact. Besides a lot of kids who play horse games are involved with real horses anyways. Which means they already have seen the real thing...

@SSO DREAM. SWEM is not a scam in the slightest. It has been made explicitly clear that yes, I do get paid from donations, however I also make less than poverty level in my country, plus I work 10-16 hours 6-7 days a week on SWEM. At my last job, I had easy access to hundreds of SS numbers that I could have sold off for hundreds of thousands of dollars. If I was to steal, it would have been then when there was literally nothing and no one to stop me, not from minecraft modding. I get paid barely enough to survive and I work to the bone. I get just enough and the rest of the income we have is sitting safely in a savings account where its only drawn on to pay SWEMs bills or invest back into SWE/M itself in the wisest decisions I can muster. Its fair to wonder if we are a scam, but another to state so without any such backing for such an assumption. We are not a scam and we never will be. The day our standards drop is the day I close it down for good. I apologize if this sounds abrasive. I am simply passionate about the community knowing I'm here for love and no other reason.

Did you ever consider that these people are victims too? They were kids. It’s called grooming. It’s like blaming a young victim for not turning in their abuser. You didn’t even bother to censor the names of people underaged in chat, while other censor attempts were half efforts where their names or photos were clearly shown in other parts of the screenshot. You didn’t even include other statements that had been put out. If you are going to be doing a research video about a truly serious issue like this, you can’t pick and choose what facts to include to make your point stronger while neglecting the actual events. It makes it seem like the video is more for clout than anything. As I mentioned elsewhere, it’s also disgusting to equate perceived unfair prices with grooming. They needed to be seperate videos. If you just want a game with horses there are alternatives that don't include chats or you could find or found 18+ servers. Like, why would you pick to play star stable, a game all about girl empowerment, over something like Rival Stars or Farming Simulator if all you wanted was horses. If all you wanted is story there are plenty of other games, even games that combine horses and story. I do know men who play the game because their daughters or wives do and that's fine and most of the men playing SSO and horse minecraft servers are innocent and not there for nefarious reasons but because of what happened with the predator on SSO I'm always a little weary and suspicious.

In a society where “MAPs” are being tiptoed around and given passes because “they identify as a kid,” this type of video is super important. And yet Miss Pinehaven ignorantly and irresponsibly told me to “rethink my comment” for calling out SSO for allowing grooming by having a Pride Month with SEXuality ribbons in a game for CHILDREN.
When you open the platform that’s made for KIDS to focus an entire month on sexuality (root word being SEX), you’re going to draw in predators who realize most children have no idea what sexuality truly, truly means making them easy targets (they’re simply too young, inexperienced, and easily influenced… to say otherwise is short sighted). StarStable is NOT responsible for “educating” children on sexuality. It’s a HORSE game. Influencers also are not responsible.
Adults need to be smarter and braver about this instead of virtue signaling. Children’s safety is infinitely more important than your fear being called a bigot or praised for being an insincere ally because you think you’ll gain popularity.
