  • Do portable toilets work? What about a camper toilet? We test out a portable toilet and sink combo to find out if this is a good camper toilet. Whether you're looking for a camper toilet, a boat toilet a trunk camper toilet, an RV toilet, a portable toilet for van or a portable toilet for camping, you'll find your answer in this portable toilet review. We go over portable toilet install, portable sink install, how to properly use a portable sink and toilet combo.
    The Yitahome portable toilet and sink combo is one of the best I've tried. It certainly is the best camping toilet I've used. Being one of the best portable toilets for camping, the Yitahome portable toilet and sink combo is affordable and well build. It is well suited to van life and could be a strong contender as the best portable toilet for van life. It is an excellent RV toilet and works well as a trunk camper toilet. In this portable toilet review we have determined that Yitahome makes the best portable toilet and sink combo currently on the market.
    Having a portable toilet and sink while camping is a luxurious camping option. The sink is easy to operate and helps kids on family camping trips stay clean. Have a portable toilet as a camping toilet is the best camping toilet choice you can make when you are camping with kids. This camping toilet review was outstanding, with this being one of the best portable toilets for camping I have tried. Having running water with a portable sink and a flushing camp toilet makes this model the best camping toilet system I've used to date.
    The model reviewed in this video is the Yitahome portable toilet and sink combo. You can use the portable toilet on its own, separate from the sink, so long that you fill the clean water tank. The portable toilet has a clean water tank, holding 17L (4.5 gal) and a waste water tank holding the same. The portable sink feeds water into the clean water tank on the camping toilet, allowing for a flushing camp toilet.

    Great info about camp toilet. We’ve purchased the Yitahome camp toilet but NOT for camping; we live in central Alaska where half the city population lives remotely and water hauling is absolutely necessary being accomplished by frequent hauling of 1600 gallons of water in tanks secured to pickup truck beds or on to flatbed trailers. We are having to replace flooring in the bathroom, a project that will require removal of our toilet for a time. For the sake of comfort we are using the Yitahome camp toilet as a backup system until all work is finished. We have found it important to press the pressure stabilization button (next to the slide valve handle) to balance the internal pressure of the waste holding tank; if internal waste tank has unreleased positive pressure and isn’t stabilized before dumping, the contents can be forced to seep from slide valve assembly or cap assembly on waste disposal spout. Thanks very much for your informative presentation on the operation and use of these Yitahome products.

      I'll never forget the look Braxton's face when we went to the pit toilet. He refused to use it! (Although there were some flies flying around, lol). He peed in the woods all the weekend and the little guy had a #2 accident later that night. Man, what I wouldn't have given for a set up like this at that time!

    I have been searching absolutely everywhere to the answer to one question: *how do you clean the freshwater tank*. It doesn't come apart at all and only has the hole to pour the water in. When I ordered one I'd assumed I'd be able to get inside and scrub it out for first-time use and was pretty horrified to find out that it didn't come apart at all. You can't prevent mold and bacteria build-up, so how are you supposed to keep it clean or even make sure it's dry inside before storage?

    • @LoneCrowAdventures

    Did the sink pedestal tube that connects to the water tank have a screw on lid so you can carry the tank to fill up without lugging the sink and pedestal? That was the only drawback I saw if it does not. Carrying the whole set up to someplace to fill the tank is not practical I would imagine.

    • @LoneCrowAdventures
      @LoneCrowAdventures  Před 3 lety

      That pedestal is solid, no water runs through it. The water runs through the little tub on the side and requires depression of the pump to flow. So no extra cap needed on the sink for transport.

      Buy them separately, especially if you have kids. There's something a little gross about having a sink connected to a toilet to me anyway.
      Also, after a while of kids washing their hands with too much soap or brushing their teeth...all that toothpaste and soap gums up the water tank and flushing mechanism of the toilet...and let's face it,that's the most important part...you never want that to fail.
