Really sorry to hear about Shadow. Our condolences. We had the privilege of meeting him and his owners in Beechwoth. I'm sure you and Anne gave him the best life he could have had, and I'm equally sure he played his part in being a trusty loyal companion, guarding the fort against all invaders.
As an aside, since your last video, I've fitted handles to the gas vent lids (great idea) and installed a new gas detector just like the one you suggested. I'm now going out to pack my power point tester. Not an item on my carry list until now.
With regard to wheel nuts, I've completely removed my wheel hub trims and left them at home. I check wheel nuts regularly and those wheel hub trims are just a nuisance. I've found a looser wheel nut on a couple of occasions, never to the point of concern, but I'm still glad I check them regularly.
Another really informative video. Thanks Graham.

Thanks Tom & Anne, someone mentioned that Shadow had probably seen more of Australia than many Aussies get to experience , he certainly had a good life and was a big part of our family in the Zone, so hard to move on, but we have great memories.
Great your improving your Zone, anything that makes life easier on the road makes for a much more enjoyable journey.
Kind regards from Graham & Ann

Hi Graham & Ann, so sorry to hear of your loss. Shadow was not only your great mate, but also a star in his own right. I have no doubt you gave him an amazing 14 years of love and memories. Hopefully we see you guys again one day in the future.

Hey guys, thanks so much, we really miss our little travel buddy, more than we thought we would. We have lots of great memories and have appreciated so many people reaching out to us.
As a friend pointed out, Shadow had seen more of Australia in his 14 years than many Aussie’s do in their lifetime.
I’m sure we will catch up with you some where down the track. Cheers Graham & Ann

G'day Graham, sorry to hear about your best mate Shadow. When torquing the wheel nuts the 120nm should be unlubricated studs, any lube on the stud, the actual torque can be 15- 20 % higher than the set 120nm. I always carry spare studs of the correct grade and nuts. Safe travels

@grahambelby9117 I purchased my spare studs & nuts from Nice Products. They stock Grade 8, 10.9,12.9 with various knurled diameters and spline pitches. Really, having spare studs are essential, especially when travelling in insolated areas. Ian

The typical reason for burnt plugs and sockets, is people unplugging without turning off the supply first.

Fyi using a socket extension affects your torque figure. Why dont you use a shorter extension bar?
Sorry to hear you lost your mate. 😢

The main problem, is you take that oversize septic tank on public highways and don't have the decency to get off the damn road, instead you sit in la la land doing 90 odd holding everyone up for hours on end.
Solution - donate said septic tank to a church to assist with the homeless, and may it never be on a public road ever again.
