If I'm not mistaken she learned this from her mom. I watched an interview months ago and I saw comments mentioning how her mom is also very good at this. I think her mom's first husband (I could be wrong off because I don't know much about their family) was a lawyer or something and so she learned how to answer questions without giving too much information.
Kim's late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. was a high profile lawyer. One of his clients, a family friend too was OJ Simpson.
