Common sense and common courtesy has almost completely disappeared in the last couple years. People have just become so selfish and egnorant that it almost takes away from the enjoyment of even leaving the house let alone doing anything in a public area.

Helpful tip: when the cats are sitting in the mud, either take your floats off or use shorter leaders. Those cold cats can b pretty tight lipped though. Keep it up and your going be reeling in a 50 in no time!

Just something my grandfather taught me many years ago. Didn’t see u do it in video. Not sure if u do. But when u fry fish whole if u eat the tip of the tail it tastes like a potato chip. I’m 46 now been doing it since I was 4 or 5. Still one of my favorite bites. Keep the great videos coming.
Tiny cats are some darned good eats! A tip for next time. Use your pliers and clip the fin bones, then slice it at the base of the head and pull the skin off like a sock towards the tail. Then separate the head. Add your breading then pan fry. The 🐟 will fit the pan better without the head. Great video Micah.
I love whole fried catfish. I usually take the head off tho. Can’t eat it anyway and it takes up less room. I really like eating the rear fin. Like a catfish potato chip
Well I don't know what people expect from the older generation but I do get it as a fisherman who fishes from a kayak boaters get way to close to me and my brother while we're fishing anyway baby catfish can be used as bigger catfish bait glad you caught a big 22lbs one plus two good eating size God heard your prayers for more amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one

Catch some thread fin shad for cut bait. Use them to catch big white perch . Best bite is early morning.
In Spanish we call that frito we like it frito "fryd" or in a caldo de pescado " fish soup" next time u fry it just score the sides like 4 times each side and cover it in flour make sure flour gets in the cuts then fry it and buy some seasoning I mexican store and season it right after. It bomb af. No skinning just gutting
The White Perch is actually not a perch but is in the Bass family! And the brilliant fish and game biologist that introduced them didn't know they thrive on Walleye eggs and other species eggs! Hence, they've cleaned out what we're spectacular Walleye lakes in PA to perch holes!!😢

Also, those little cats are great bait for bigger cats! (If allowed in the fishery you fish). I use 10 to 12in channels/blues in mostly June and again in late Oct to target big blues and flatheads
Little catfish like that taste much better than big ones.

I'd be surprised if you didn't watch his channel but Taku, "outdoor chef life" is a westcoast angler who does amazing cooks...Recently he fried fish whole and at the fins too!

Hey Mika, idk what the laws are in the Carolinas, but I know when I was fishing in places like Texas and Louisiana, the baby channel cats would allot of times get eaten by gar or flathead while we were reeling them in. Tight lines mika keep up the amazing Hiiiiiiigh adventures

I agree, I always carry a concealed. You never know how scenarios like that turn out. People aren't people anymore. I've had to grab my heat twice. Give people some space and respeck. Put some speck on it. Doesn't matter how big the lake is. They always have to drive 20yards away from you.
Those little channels are fun to catch in the small creek holes up in Minnesota. They make good bait for flatheads. Same with bullhead

The next time that you fish the inlet for sheepshead, you need to use good old fashion nightcrawlers.
I just recently watched another CZcams video where a guy absolutely annihilated some giant sheepshead with them.
