Too many people buy honda's they are never in stock, and when they are in stock they go for nearly double msrp. A smart business person knows when it's time to switch to something else.
I’m trying to pick a pump, engine, and gearbox What specs on each piece do I use to make sure they all mate properly I would love to use the engine you did. Can you tell me the link to the website you found the best deal at And the gearbox and the pump. I would like to put a few together. Thank you
Man! I'm a plumber and have 2 Honda iGX800's tied together on one big skid i use as a hydro jetter, id love to have gotten udor pumps with it rather than the general pumps but it'll do for now. However, I need them long sweep 90°'s for the pumps! I knew better than to put regular 90°s on the pumps and didn't really wanna use 2 45°'s. I didn't honestly think they made long sweeps! That's fantastic to see, now the question is.....where do I find them?
What did you end up doing with that 1/8th inch gap between the gear drive and the engine crankcase? I didn't see you install any shims or spacers. Great info BTW.
@@thepressurewasherschannel9109 when you fitted the gearbox the first time it bottomed out on the crankshaft and you still had a small gap between there. That's what it looked like. 11:06. Must be the camera angle and which mounting holes you were using.
@@symplemynd57 When everything was together, from what I gathered, he had an 1/8" gap, so there was "space" between the gearbox wall and end of the shaft. To close for my comfort. Me personally, I woulda shimmed it just to be sure. He is right, lots of folks dont measure and punch a hole in the gear box and there is $300 down the drain!
Wow...over the top "old school thorough build "..you really go the extra mile to make sure this build will last..good job!!
Sweet build. Guys always tell me I’m crazy for taking a Kohler over Honda. I tell them to talk to me in 10 years about it.
I been washing 32yrs. I say that all the time!!!!!

Vanguard
Honda
Shop I go to sellsboth for jetter trailers and says better reliability with the Honda 😳😳😳
Glad to see I'm not the only person who doesn't worship Honda.

If I find a Honda or Kohler from out of a lawn mower for example can I add a start and throttle panel to it? If so anyone know where I can get one?
Where I can the pump bottom holder
Do you run the engine at full throttle? Is there an issue with over speeding the pump?

Them sweeping 90s on the pump, are they stainless or steel? If steel, are you concerned about rust?

What…… think about what u r saying, if you didn’t have that gap it would punch a hole in the gear assembly
