"Never beat a guy up on a good deal." We need more guys like you with that common sense.
I agree.
Amen, brother !
Well no not really it’s called business
Mazda RX-8 Rotary. It’s the bike hustle bro
i love your comment
Lmaooooo “I’ll take it” lolol never laughed so hard in my life lol. Best negotiator ever lol
So many lols lol
@@NarutoUzumaki-dv9ll fr lol
@@bro2941 lol yeah dude like dang lol
I love the way those style bikes are. Sports bikes from the 80s-90s with the square designs, love it.
I recently bought an 88 Honda nx250 and now I want one of these also
Totally agree. Love those retro sport bikes.
Now, let's see you buy a $1000 Harley and take a trip on it.
It's already been done. Picked up a Thousand dollar Sportster and rode it home 100 miles.
@@kennethlaw5216 You should feel guilty for stealing that sporty if it made it 100 miles. lol Kudos! You did good.
@@steveminer8341 I got lucky. Searched for a long time. It hadn't been rode for a while but they got it running before I looked at it. Also the fact that it was this time of year and no one in my area rides this time of year. Lots of factors just lead to me getting a good deal. They are out there. Just have to keep looking every day.
Short video...
@@kennethlaw5216 that's good but I want to see Sean do it.
"it was a good deal, never beat someone up on a good deal." As a small contractor I wish more people were like this. God bless this man.
You have to teach me all your negotiating tricks usually if somebody wants $1,000 I give them 1,200 but after watching that I'll probably give them $1,400 thanks for the tips man...
Jason Mercer hahahahaha
I always figured no one found sean funny... i guess it takes all kinds
@@aproia95
What? Some of his stuff is hilarious.
Thats my jeep cherokee in the background at 5:07 😮😮😂
That's my mustang at 5:10
...not really
@@TheShowgunofHarlem liar. that's my mustang. except that i dont have a mustang nor stay in america

@@bryanjudefernandez2195 no its my mustang but its a really special mustang that you write like honda civic
I owned one of them in the 80s (I'm in Australia). It was red so it went faster. It was a great fun bike and easy to look after.
Your video brought back some great memories. Thanks.
Aussie here too. Our little town only had a Yamaha dealer. One of my big brother’s and his two mates went together and bought one each. It was the first road bike I ever rode. Owned another one later. And another mate barn found one last year. He is currently putting FZR 250 front end and back end on it. Front end bolts on. Rear requires mods. Looks good but the twin disc front end is overkill! 😂
Was the high performance paint, factory?
I think I might still have a manual here if you need one. That nutty Yamaha emissions solution of using both a vm and a cv two carb setup on a single cylinder is something else.
Sounds like a good deal.
I don’t think it was an emissions thing, it was more just getting clean carburation on a single.
I've been convicted of "drag racing" in Michigan. The definition of drag race is 2 or more vehicles competing for speed. I was the flag man.....
If only michigan was as tough on voting as they are on road laws 🤣
"Ah crap I found one." "I look like an idiot." That was hysterical. Merry Christmas guys!!!
Yep. Hilarious.
It wasn't detuned for the U.S. It was brought in with the same horsepower restrictions that were required in Japan for insurance purposes. If I remember correctly the restriction is a washer that is tack welded into the exhaust outlet, and a smaller set of jets. Easy to undo.
I've been casually looking for an SRX600 for over a decade, and have only ever seen a few up for sale in that time. Even though it's a 250, you scored an amazing deal.
0:48 man ur like the wolf of wall street. Bet that guy had to take a nap coz u drove him down so much...
lol Legend!
That intro was excellent, I had a good laugh. 😂
Loving the budget bike series. Maybe you need some challenges to test these bikes out? 🤔
I like seeing people open with their faith, even thought I’ve strayed a lot myself. Great video! Merry Christmas 🎄
Great find. Got one w/500mi on it in 89 for my wife, we love it! Engine is black originally, fin edges are natural. Carb to head boots delaminate, petcock is leaky. Modern tires make the kickstand too short.
I was laughing my arse off at the 10seconds negotiation. Love it man.
LOooOL that bike in the truck idea was hilarious 😂.. Same thing I wudda thought
I am so happy to have discovered your channels! I laugh more than anything else I see on CZcams! Thanks!
Love your videos keep up the great work. I love the fact that you want to get people riding it's great. I cant wait until I can get my next bike. I have 2 young kids so financially I'm strapped but videos like this keep hope alive for me lol.
Thanks guys
Do you know whats more rare then that bike? Someone that will buy that bike
Ehh maybe a collector would go for it, i dont see a beginner buying it though because its so old and they can buy a newer bike for maybe a few thousand more
Lol yes
That's why they're so rare....
Every Yamaha dealership in the USA had one or two sitting and collecting dust well into the 90s.
If it was an SRX 6, at least it would be desirable.
@@TheOriginalArcticEd There's one nearby me for sale in Ennis Texas for $3150. It does look nice. dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/d/ennis-1986-yamaha-srx600/7024766731.html
I’d say most of them were 50 feet in the air as a sign or something lol
Retro baby! Looks in great shape for year.
I love your videos. I can sit down in front of the children and watch the whole video through without earbuds, or turning the volume down. I really appreciate the clean language👍
You guys are amazing!!! One day I'll get another bike. Right now I have to wait. God Bless & keep doing what your doing.
Pull over, I have idea... Nonchalantly driving with the helmet still on and the bike in the van no laughing or anything. 😂😂😂😂 That part was mad funny
That toll booth work around was truly hilarious!
Best video yet! The toll booth scene had me rolling.
I went from a 600 super sport to a CB300F and love the hell out of it. It’s so playful.
I just learned about this bike yesterday, and was searching the interwebs for content. Great to see that you had a vid! I have the opportunity to buy a project bike along with 2 donors and some key new OEM parts. After watching this video, I’m sold!
9:20 Dude, you look like a total BOSS.
I love the part where you put the bike in the van to avoid the tolls.
Love you content sean! You are a huge fun to watch!
Love it!!!!! The way you beat the toll had me on the floor rolling! Only you would have the balls to pull that lol
8:20 my man, I see you are a man of pure Integrity
Quality episode right here. "I need another jackey.. ahh crap I found one"
I'm new to this channel, but I'm really enjoying it. Such a likeable person with a great personality. Plus I love motorcycles! Better than any similar type of show I've ever seen on TV.
Great call on the toll lol.. awesome video and well done getting the kids some new equipment! Happy Holidays!!
Dont know whats more cool. The bike or diesel van. Lets see that dope van
Get the poor van a new windscreen, guys! That crack has been getting bigger every episode 🤣
your chanel is blooming i subscribed about a week ago it was around 225k subs maybee now 251k you will reach a mill soon
My first bike was an 81 Suzuki GS450t and I loved it. Giant sissy bar, 6spd digital gear select indicator and a throaty sound to boot. Love the 250 man. I think it was a good buy.
The "I feel like a total idiot" part 😂😂😂.
I have five bikes in my garage that I paid under $1000 for, all are decent. A few are awesome!
Great episode enjoyed it thank you keep up the good work 🎅👍
Sean best and funniest vid yet man keep up the great work. Merry Christmas too you and your family
"you can tell this guy never turned" LMFAO
Watch my mad negotiating skills...I'll take it! 😂
Ha! great video, entertaining. That's why we watch, Sean.
$1000 bought me a very fun 1985 650 Nighthawk last June. You did a nice test on the '85 650 NH last January 8. Thanks!
Brilliant bike, great video. Happy Christmas Sean and all the guys at SRK.
you know what im not going to lie the bible verses at the beginning bothered me for some inexplicable reason but honestly overtime they have comforted me...thanks for the verses, man. Some of us need that.
“Old ninjas are kinda ugly” stares lovingly at my ugly ass 1993 Zzr ninja 😂😂 love these Older 250s
Older bikes just have a spark that new ones don't seem to have
Top of the world maa.. nice ppl I have subscribed ..

When you eat your own smoke. Slowly going thru all your videos, and enjoying every one of em'. Thanks.
Enjoyed this one! 1000 is a chill price for that bike. I'd buy it.
You and 12 other gents might until its time to actually pay for it
Buy a buell next. Perhaps an xb9sx. Then tear it down and show us what is typically breaking on them...so I will be prepared for the one I just bought.
You should probably watch someone else's channel for that. This guy buys and sells but his mechanic skills lack about everything.
@@kennethlaw5216 it's the experience with all the bikes he has had that is more important to me. Fuel, fire, compression and nearly any bike will run. It's the intricacies that he's familiar with that appeals to me with a project or purchase of a buell.
@@kanetheriot3204 then you should watch someone with a channel that rides a Buell, and probably a channel with a guy that works on Harleys. This guy has basic general knowledge of a thousand different bikes, and not intricate knowledge of a specific bike. Nothing against Sean, it's just not what he does. Whenever I buy a specific product I go to the forum pages for that product. Then whatever year I'm interested in, I look up the pros and cons of that bike. Also watch several videos from the people that own and ride them. A lot of people do the 5 or 10 things they like/hate about said product. Much more information then a guy that sells every brand under the sun. Sean can give you general knowledge, which you can pretty much get for yourself after riding it for a few weeks. The rest you need to learn from someone else.
I own a 05 XB12r. The first gens had their problems but the XB's especially the 9's are bulletproof. Get yourself Buelltooth/ EcmSpy and a free service manual @ buellmods.com then join the buell forums, they're a close great group. #1 problem you may encounter after 10 years is a failing fuel pump. Just about every part can be cross referenced with Ford, Bosch or even a toyota Yaris oil filter to fit and work on the bike. St. Paul Harley Davidson still distributes OEM parts as well. Most Buell owners with problems have no mechanical knowledge and expect Honda perfection. If you're someone who doesn't want to wrench on a bike then you may want to sell it. While you should be able to drive tens of thousands trouble free miles, do your due diligence and research, they are very simple to fix and the engine could be rebuilt in a weekend if need be. Careful, once you drink the Buell kool-aid there's no turning back. You have an iconic piece of history which was designed by one of the most talented designer/engineer/builder in the world, Mr. Eric Buell. If you love your Buell she will kindly return the favor. Welcome to the Dark Side my friend.
You guys are a blast to watch! Keep it up
Beautiful! All of The SRX family still looks modern. Had an SRX6 for ten years, now I want another..
dfjelddalen
It has the shapes of a fazer 1rst Gen
Someone had to have passed you and thought "why the hell is that guy driving a van with a helmet on?"
post 2020 people dont question that kind of stuff anymore :-)
I love it when every video there is a bible verse.....rides safe brother
Funny video Shawn. Love your negotiation skills and the red santa suit. God Bless you family.
another good video, you have a great personality your videos are always an adventure cheers ...
Looks like you need heated gear that will cost almost as much as the bike.
As your brother in Christ, this vlog is just so joyful to watch. Bless you, your family, staff and business in the name of Yeshua Ha Messhiach, Jesus our Saviour Always and forever: Amen.
Felt sorry for that guy Sean you really beat him up. LOL. Must have been one heck of a deal. Hope you and your family had a righteous Christmas and have a very happy and safe 2020
WOW Sean! Those negotiation skills were awesome!
Now I know how it's done...
Sean, just say to yourself, "I love the smell of diesel fumes in the morning. Smells like his victory!"
Sure was rolling coal on him.
Man I absolutely love them bikes message me back if you still have it.
Great video and good deal on bike and clever idea with the bike in van to get through toll and love the Santa suit and awesome donation!
Love it, and I think I read they're rare! It's what I took the MSF beginner course on back in 1988. Pretty sure it had a cool looking 16" front 18" rear and 52.8" wheelbase!
When was the last time that van pass an emissions test???🙈
Just a little rich....!
It's a diesel. The smoke is normal
Hi Rene-Pascal. The engine is bet in her it needs looking at.
Its a 7.3 tuned it should smoke
Douglas Bigblock
If it’s designed to do that, it’s bad design. That wouldn’t be allowed on the road in Ireland.
2:26 sounds like n word at first
You got a smile out of me with the Santa outfit!!! Nice job!
Perfect riding suit/bike color coordination!
I love these cheap bike vidios. I'm gna get my first real bike since almost dying and I'm on a fixed income so these vids help
Great video. Merry Christmas.....
Yes! That was the drag race that interrupted Caleb’s walk around videos a week or so ago. Nice job, Sean!! 😂
You are hilarious Sean, I love your sense of humor!
well i did it again wathed all the bike n beards twice n comented n thumbs up each video now gonna rewatch all the srk bike videos
That's my home town. You rode right past "the bubble" which is where it got its name from a natural bubbling underground spring.
You crack me up! Keep up the good Videos.
Nice little around the town scooter. Great shape for it's age. Good work!!!
I had this same exact bike. It was my first bike i ever owned right out of High School and to this day I've only ever seen 2 more of them out on the road. Definitely had a lof of fun with this bike and if i ever see another one in decent condition i will try to buy it on the spot! Absolutely Loved this bike! It was like having the coolest and fastest moped around lol Very dependable and it actually rode super smooth even going around 90mpg which i could hardly believe. Amazing machine!
These videos where you ride bikes long distances when you buy them or your road trips are really fun to watch. Should definitely do more like this. 🤙 hahahaha nice santa jacket by the way. Kids would love that! Hahahaha
On that red and white bike that Santa suite. Totally rocked it my dude
I absolutely love it!!!! 😎👍 That red makes it really pop!
Oh my . my friend showed my this video .
thats me in the yellow GT , so glad my exhaust system sounded well on this guys video :)
Another great video 👍👍
I have an old Yamaha of 175 cc, 2 stroke, 3 gear and pump mechanism for kick. It belonged to my uncle who is no more and the bike is eating dust. This video just encouraged me to restore it, will be a tribute to my uncle, in his memory.
This is one of your best videos
that a great bike! i love old bikes better than new ones now.. nice video bro 👌👌
That negotiation was awesome, power move indeed, great vid
I owned a 85 Yamaha SRX 600 Super Single back in the 80's and wish I still owned it. I haven't seen one since I sold mine in 89 . Very rare but a great bike !
I can tell by the 2.35 gas price that this was pre 2021. great video, and great memory of better times.!
One of the best videos to date
My brother bought a brand new one here in Australia. It was red with black side panels. The engine was all black. It was a great first bike. It was small (So was he), light, easy to ride and fun. It would get up to 150-160 kmh (On the speedo) in the right conditions. It was simple and reliable. He didn't keep it long as the power bug bit and he went straight to a low km Katana 1100.
I still have a real soft spot for the SRX (And the Katana...) as it was during those exciting early days of our motorcycle adventures.
That was quick thinking about the toll. Also you don't drive a bike you ride it. Love your videos.
INSTANT like for the EPIC negotiation skills!
Bravo 😁😁
Finally a good video. Well done.
Love the humour in these😂
The cut to him driving then pan to the backseat. So good
great video, you guys rock.
