I used to have access to fields near Lound on the Norfolk/Suffolk border where I’d find loads of very similar bottles. Was told it used to be on the site of a Victorian pond which was used a dump. Each time the fields get turned it always became a great place to find bottles. Best find was an WW2 soap tin in remarkably good condition

My Dad used to live in Lound in the late 70s and has said there used to be a place that was used as a dump in victorian times.. maybe the same place.. might be worth some further investigation.. 🤔

It’s off Jay Lane, although I’m not in contact with the farmer who owns the land anymore. If there’s a way if you want to know the exact location I can let you know, would give you the what3words location, not sure it’s wise here, otherwise the farmer may get a load of mudlarkers walking across his fields. 🤣

It appears to be that those holes quite close together are probably badgers den entrances. Greetings from Wolverhampton in The West Midlands.

Wow you were so lucky finding all those bottles etc. I did wonder if you were going to use one of those shopping trolleys in the water to take your finds back to the car. 🙂

A couple of years ago we went for a little walk along the Thames in Central London and was amazed at all the history scattered along there.. although we weren't able to pick anything up as u need a license for mudlarking in London we then did some research into other locations we could go that might have some interesting bits to find, we were then hooked.. and the rest is history as they say 😊

@@ExploringWithEmAndStu that’s a great story, thanks! I started metal detecting but didn’t take to it, I then found Sifinds because he does metal detecting, then found out from him and Nicola white what Mudlarking was! Unfortunately I got hooked just as the pandemic started and couldn’t go out exploring for ages.

It's was Nicola's videos that taught me alot of what we've learnt about mudlarking, we were lucky enough to bump into her and Si at East Tilbury one day.. My dad is a keen metal detectorist which is who I get alot of my interest in history from.. Trying to convince him to get involved in making a video about it one day 😊
