- I made a Hermitcraft BOSS for ImpulseSV. In this video you get to see behind the scenes as I design a Minecraft boss in with custom abilities and sounds effects! Then the Hermitcraft CZcamsr ImpulseSV got to play against this hardcore challenge in my custom built arena together with McSkizzleman. I made mobs in minecraft, and here is what happened...

I feel like Grian is the perfect Hermit to make a boss of. Between his thanos gauntlet on Season 7, his withers on Season 8, and his general tendency to cause chaos and start server-wide wars, he would be the perfect fit for a boss of mass distruction.

i think iskall85 would also be a very good option considering his main thing with iskallium and also his hated of diorite.

if doc gets made he's probably gonna be ridiculously hard and with a lot of environmental traps cause of his redstone expertise (instakill arrow cannons, anvil cannons, anvils in general, etc.)
Mojang make this a mob, it would be so sick, actually too advance to be a mob so Kevin can you make it a marketplace map, texture pack, mobs, skins and map, I want to play this, even tho no one plays Minecraft with me so I’d probably be alone. Custom armor too please?

I really want to download the addon and give it abilities like: -Crawling (So it can’t be as easily compromised as the golem is)
-A rotating attack (it grabs the blade and spins around)

Never been a diehard Transformers fan (more towards Evangelion), but might have had something in the back of the head whilst creating this design!

What if you made a boss for both grian and mumbo , make the boss a grumbot mech and have it do stuff like pull out a button that it will press and it does a random thing every time , have him toss chicken eggs that spawn grians poultry man , just fill it with reference like that to grian and mumbo , also since its part grian it doesn't have to be a strong boss just a chaotic boss 😂

This is so well done!
I always have trouble with rotating items, like the drone blades. During animation I rotate 90,180,270, 360 but then to have it smoothly restart the animation, it causes the bone to flip back to the 90 starting position. What is the best way to do full 360 repeating rotations?
If in game, use a variable that increases in value with time * a multiplier for speed.
In blockbench, you must add it as the final keyframe so that it loops with the first keyframe on 0 and the final on 360

Alright so leaving this behind as feedback, fun video, I enjoyed it, but the editing was just a little dissorienting
With the cutting back and forth between Imp and Skizz pretty much as soon as my eyes adjusted to the new perspective you would cut back to the other one... Maybe it was just me but yeah 2 second cuts seems just a little extreme, I couldn't track what was happening for the majority of that segment

Been loving these videos! Also I have a question. I’ve been making a resource pack with custom blocks for a map and for some reason when light dampening is set to 15, the block lets all the light around it through it. Do you have any idea why? When the value is set to 14 it works fine, but 15 makes all light pass through. Any help is appreciated.

@@ArtsByKev Thank for the reply! Bedrock edition. I was using specifically the block wizard and when selecting a template I used the stone preset and the only thing I changed on it was the time to destroy it as well as the texture. When going through the light dampening properties in the wizard I kept it set to 15 which is the highest value of light dampening. When keeping at 15, the block in game lets all light pass through it. However, on 14 it seemed to block some light.

Not sure if you take suggestions, but how hard would it be to create a boss that has the power to change the bit size of the textures within the game as a confusion tactic or something?
If you make several assets, low res and high res, you could switch between them on command - depending on how you choose to put it all together :D

In bedrock, just set the material to spider, and make the glowing part have less opacity ^^

There'll always be that issue with this game platform ._. ... one side wants what the other cannot get. But it makes the process of content creation a fun challence when you try to balance them out across the channel! 😊

I want to make mods for java !. You do the models and the ai and you give them awesome animations and attacks and I'd pay for someone to teach me how to do it. I just don't k ow where to look.

Take your texture, and everything you want to glow, give it some level of transparency. Set the entity material to spider (in the resource pack).
thanks for your reply! but I can't find the line for the entity material to put "spider"... I upload my mob with model engine, don't know if that because I d'ont find it. also I tried to put my texture "emissive" from Blockbench and export the emissive texture but nothing happened.
Oooh, model engine...
Then you want an emissive texture with your texture.
You first want to be using optifine (if this is java). Have a properties folder in your rp.
Add the emissive texture according to the prefix in the properties file. Example: potato_e.png
And have that texture in the same texture location as the main one.

I used to run Abelton, but moved over to Reaper.
