A lot of appearances of Tim Drake in other media are based on Jason Todd. Tim Drake had an unique personality, showcased by Chuck Dixon and Tom Lyle Robin miniseries that was never portrayed faithfully in other media.

@@robsonwaterkemper only 1 is really based on Jason. Even dcau was an amalgamation with both properties of Tim and Jason. Arkham Tim is pretty much Dick Grayson, i think Red Robin from Batman unlimited was the closest to Tims comic personality we ever got.
Fun Fact:Tim Drake's torture into Joker Junior was the reason Bruce quit the Justice League and his torture takes place after the JLU series finale "Destroyer"
His torture is canonically the last on screen event before he quits in Batman Beyond. Any and all Bruce as Batman.adventures that take place, happen before that event. This is true. However, I do believe that he already quit the League prior to the event. Makes more sense why he wouldn't call any league members for backup during the event.

Shame they've never been able to get his origin right. Tim is the reason the character and modern costumes are even a thing in modern day.

No because red hood (Jason Todd) doesn’t exist in the 1997
Jason didn't come back till 2005 Batman: Under the Red Hood. He was teased in Batman: Hush (2002) but made his full return in Under the Red Hood. So at the time he was still dead in the comics. What they did was combine Jason and Tim's personality for the animated series, it's why he has Jason's origin but Tim's lighter personality. Honestly, i agree that its ass they skipped over him as it would of been interesting to see him in the show. As shown with Tim, they don't NEED a bloody death to leave a scarring memory on a character, they could of easily had Jason been the one joker captured, then had him resurrected by Ra's and had Tim come in after to help keep batman in check like in the comic. Missed opportunity.

Honestly it should have been someone else for the Netflix Titans series, another actor would have been a lot better.
Instead of a video wich could be like one minute long, with showing a picture of every version for like 5 seconds, we get a 12 minutes long video, with fast shots, so we actually didn't really see none of them. But most importantly the 12 minutes part. Who even watches a video that long ? Even 5 minutes is a challenge. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason, why tick tock dominates nowadays.
