Iâm currently in dental assisting school and was offered a working interview at my dentist and Iâm so nervous!
I have a working interview tomorrow and I have no idea what to expect. I am so incredibly nervous. I am fresh out of CDA school.. Your have eased my mind somewhat but, still very nervous.
I have my first interview since having my dental assistant licenses going on 4 years. Iâm nervous only because I just donât want to mess anything up. I want everything to go smooth.
Ashton Warren you got this!
Thank you i think Iâm more nervous about it then anything.
Honestly, whether youâre experienced or not shouldnât determine whether youâre compensated for your time.
I have registered dental assistant working interview I'm not so nervous I have been in this field as a dental assistant for four years and I just received my rda liscense in oct 2019 I'm so excited about doing two different working interviews.
Thats great! If youâve been in the field for 4 years you know what dental offices are looking for! Good luck in your working interviews! Let us know which you pick đđ
Very imformative.... Started DA classes online couple months ago haven't started doing any in person practical as yet I'm doing a lot of theory how long did it take you guys to get the hang of everything while studying I'm having a hard time remembering what comes next in a procedure. But I'm learning a lot âș
La'curla naturally itâs all about practice. You wonât get it down until you start doing it. Hang in there! It takes time but you will get it đŠ· the hands on training is the most important part. Are you doing an externship?
@@DentalVibes I'm actually going to do 6 months internship. I'm almost finish taking classes but because of the Covid-19 virus I'm unable to do hands on practical at the school.
La'curla naturally good! Make sure to watch our externship video to prepare yourself đ czcams.com/video/R6sNRsUWmH0/video.html
I graduated last week from 10 weeks dental Assistant school so we didnât have enough time to learn all of that đ„șđ€
We are soo sorry đ„ș Unfortunately, those accelerated programs are just an INTRO to dental assisting. Thereâs no way you can be prepared in that short of time. But, donât get discourage. You can find an office to train you. Make sure to watch our videos on X-rays, alginate impressions, bleaching trays, composite setup, temporary crowns and take notes. You will have to keep studying on your own
My instructors told me to always ask about getting paid for working interview. Because they are supposed to pay you no matter what. So yes ask
Working interviews should be paid.
I actually have a paid working interview tmrw at a private office !
@@dreamingofbears omg did you get the job? I have two working interviews this week and their both paid, Iâm so nervous but excited.
@@Odeyawicca99 I did :) Iâm on my second week of working there now! Good luck you got this!
I had a working interview today and it was some sort of amazing but they had let me leave early due to a staff returning. I'm so hurt
Any tips on getting along with coworkers? And dealing with rude doctors
MsHeyall we are actually shooting a video on drama in the office soon đ dealing with a rude dr is soo uncomfortable đ you have to stand up for yourself for them to back down! Check this out czcams.com/video/RH4ob1-nh60/video.html
I got a workday interview today
So I recently had an interview at an office and it went well so they scheduled me for a working interview but a few days later I received a rejection letter. Could be that they had someone doing a working interview ahead of me and they got the job? I was really confused at first . I didnât understand the hiring process.
I am a newbie and have a working interview tomorrow. Should I tell them if Iâm going to get paid before starting working interview?
Dental Assistants LOVEEEEEE the chisme, letâs be real đđ

I have a sterilization technician working interview next week even though I have no experience and this is my third interview with them. I first had a phone call, and then I had a in person interview. Iâm not sure what to expected even though they know I donât have experience
#BLACKLIVESMATTER STREAM TO DONATE hey there! So since you donât have experience you probably will be shadowing and they will see how fast you pick things up. A sterilization techâs duty is focused in only sterilize instruments and maybe cleaning rooms. Just make sure you have a notepad with you. Take notes and pay attention! You will do greatđđŠ·
Dental Vibes thank you so much!đđŒ
I have a 2nd interview this week but I wasn't sure if its a working interview but they just asked me to come for a 2nd interview and was so shy to ask if its gonna be a working interview or not. So im so scared haha
I have a working interview tomorrow. I haven't assisted since 2015. I a.m so nervous. I been looking at CZcams videos all day. Don't even know what's a good rate pay. I left when digital was getting big and paperless came into play.
Hey! Weâre just seeing this! Hope your interview went well đ€đŒ If you have any questions pls reach us directly on Instagram @dentalvibes_
Hi I have a working interview at oral surgery . Iâm confused how they called me in for a working interview knowing I donât have experience I just graduated. So what do I do ?
How did it end up working out for you? I have the same situation, like how imma do a working interview with no experience in an office? Smh
Working interview Wednesday! So nervous!!!!!
Good luck!
I just had a working interview today. And I didnât get to do much because i didnât know a lot of what they do. But I didnât not like the office at all đ
Oh no! What are some of the things you didnât know about?
What if you didnât do a dental assistant program and also have no dental experience? What things can you do to succeed in your dental work interview?
Miriam Kromah thatâs a tricky one! A dental working interview is to see what type of dental skills you have. If you have no experience Iâm not sure they would do a working interview. Probably just a formal interview. Just make sure you google basic dental terminologies and show that you are eager to learn đ
You donât need prior knowledge to be considered for a DA position. If you have the will and eagerness to learn, the doctors will see that and be happy to hire you.
Do you think that's ok to go 2 working interviews for 2 different offices at the same week?
Why wouldnât it be ok? Youâre looking at your options
Is going to be very hard for me to get a dental assistant job because we stop having classes cause of covid and i didn't learn how to do impressions, i don't think they want a dental assistant that doesn't know how to do impressions đ
Yes it will be more challenging! If you never had an externship then you didnât develop the skills yet. But remember, it wonât be impossible! You have to make sure you are prepared to show them you are eager to learn on the interviews. Also, make sure your resume look good. Remember drs are reading it aka (highly educated ppl) make sure your resume makes sense when it comes to the dental experience part. There are offices out there willing to train, it just might take you a little bit to find one. Donât give up đ
I have to disagree for a newbie. A newbie might not know about dental assisting but the office is still getting free labor out of them. I heard from another dental assistant to never work for free. Nothing is free.
Externships should be included in your program hours therefore the student doesnât get pay. Working interviews should be paid because by then youâre a graduate working. Once upon a time they didnât use to pay, but thankfully things have changed. We do highly recommend DAs to settle their payment arrangements prior to starting their working interview to avoid getting scammed.
are you guys a couple??
